Kota's POV

The guys and I are at my house, discussing our mission tomorrow.

"..And so, does anyone have any questions?" Mr. Blackbourne asked.

I looked around to all my brothers and no one spoke up.

"Well then...can we play some video games." Luke asked. Really?

I heard someone knocking rapidly on my door. We all look at each other. Then a gun shot rings out. A whimper.

I rush towards the door, face full of concern. Right when I opened it, a small girl collapses in front of me and my concerned face turns to surprise. The other guys just arrive at the door with a look of surprise on their faces too.

"We have to get her to the hospital. Hurry." Dr. Green says urgently, turning into his doctor mode.

North carries her to my car and sets her in the back seat. I ride in the back with Dr. Green while she lays on our laps. Gabe is in the passenger seat and the rest are piling into their own cars.

North starts the car and rushes to the hospital.

Dr. Green and I are inspecting her wounds that turn out to be gun shot wounds. Oh gosh. What happened to this poor girl.

I start counting in my head.

1...2...3...4...5...6...

We just got into the Academy hospital parking lot.

10...11...12...13...

North carries her into the building while Dr. Green wheels in a gurney.

19...20...21...22...23...24...25...

The some other doctors and nurses go with Dr. Green to discuss what happened and to bring her into the ER.

34...35...36...37.

The rest of us stay behind, with one thing on our mind. (haha. Felt like rhyming there)

What just happened.

*TWO DAYS LATER*

The mission yesterday went well. North, Nathan, and Silas had to stay behind overnight for some...unfinished business.

I'm in my car, off to the hospital to visit the mystery girl.

I park my car and walk to her room. Dr. Green is there looking tired.

"I'm glad you're here. Can you watch her and if she wakes up, call me. This is my break time and I'm starving."

"Sure."

I take a seat by the door. I watch her while she is sleeping. Ok...that sounds awkward. She looks so fragile and peaceful, but also beautiful.

I start counting in my head. 1...2...3...and I keep on going until 204. I saw the slightest movement come from her. Then she wakes up.

I got my phone out and called Dr. Green.

"Doc, she's awake."

"Ok, make sure she gets water. She's been out for two days."

"Ok."

"Give her the medicine. It is on her bedside table.

"Sure thing."

"I'll be back soon."

"Ok, bye."

I hung up and decided it was time to introduce myself.

"Dakota Lee. You can call me Kota though." I looked into her eyes and saw a haunted look.

"I'm Sang Sorenson." She has a beautiful voice.

"As in I sang a song?"

She shook her head yes and looked down shyly. I could tell she was uncomfortable.

"I think it's a cool name. Anyways, Doc told me to give your meds and said he will be coming soon."

I got a glass of water and some medicine from the table and helped her sit up, not wanting to touch her injured shoulder. I felt sparks as I touched her. It's weird how I barley noticed her, but felt this way.

Curiosity filled her eyes and then said," How long have I been out?"

"2 days."

She seemed to drift off into her own world until Dr. Green walked in, disrupting her worried face.

"Hello, I am Dr. Green and I see you are awake sleeping beauty."

He is such a flirt, but I couldn't complain when he said sleeping beauty.

He looked at me and said 'does she seem okay' with his eye communication.

'Yes. Just a bit shaken up'

He turns away from me.

"I am just going to check your vitals and you're going to tell me what happened okay?" Dr. Green said softly.

Sang nodded her head, in conflict with herself. She quickly drank her medicine and drank all the water, draining it. Well she had been asleep for two days. I took the cup from her shaking hand and filled it up from the dispenser.

I handed her the water and stayed by her side.

"Thank you," she said with appreciation. It was like no one had done that to her before. I did a slight nod. She started to drink the water until with was half gone. She held it out, and I got it for her and put it on the table beside her. Dr. Green started checking her vitals afterwards. While he was doing that Sang started to tell what happened when she was attacked.

( I'm not going to rewrite what Sang says for times sake)

Sang started the story, and started to tear up. Then at the end, she was full out crying. My jaw was clenched and I wanted to know who did this to her.

Dr. Green just took her hand and gave it a comforting squeeze.

Then, some other stuff happened, but I was too caught up in my head.

Just then, North comes barging in ruining the moment.

But then I saw the panicked look on his face.

"Doc, Nathan needs help. Something went wrong on the missi-"

North cuts himself off once he notices Sang. What just happened?!
