Chapter 4

Kota's POV

"Doc, Nathan needs help. Something went wrong on the missi-" North cuts himself off once he notices Sang.

What just happened?

NORTH'S POV

Nathan, Silas and I had to stay behind at the mission for some unfinished business. One minute, Silas and I had our backs turned, and then the next, Nathan is on the ground, probably with a fractured arm and a broken ankle.

"Motherf*cking sh*t!"

The attacker ran away.

"That little son of a b*tch!"

I almost went after him, but Silas stopped me to turn to the real matter at hand. Nathan I looked at him and saw how bruised he was, how he was cradling his arm and was withering in pain for his ankle.

"Sh*t," Silas muttered in Greek.

We both lugged Nathan into the car.

Sh*t. Sh*t. Sh*t.

Silas was driving, remembering that I can't drive when I'm angry. I sat beside Nathan, trying to call Dr. Green. Motherf*cking Sh*t! it keeps going to his d*mn voicemail. I was just about to press code red, but then we arrived at the academy hospital and what I didn't know what that Silas was talking to Mr. Blackbourne while driving. Mr. Blackbourne was already rolling A gurney towards the car.

Oh God I hope Nathan is alright.

SILAS'S POV

I can practically hear North cursing in the back. While he was trying to contact Dr. Green, I called Mr. Blackbourne. I just hope I have better luck than North.

"Mr. Korba, report."

"Nathan's hurt. North is trying contact Dr. Green. We are heading to the hospital."

I hung up quickly after that. I am too busy driving and worrying. At least I'm focused on getting to the hospital quickly.

We got there right when Mr. Blackbourne was rolling a gurney for Nathan to get on, since he obviously can't walk.

All of us set him on the gurney carefully without touching any of his injuries.

North ran off somewhere, probably to find Dr. Green.

Mr. Blackbourne and I wheeled Nathan into the ER.

NORTH'S POV

I ran off, finding the room Dr. Green was in. I ran straight into the room with a panicked expression and said, "Doc, Nathan needs help. Something went wrong on the missi-" I stopped, seeing the girl that was on Kota's front step.

She is awake. She looks so fragile and broken. I can tell she was crying. Or is crying, actually.

Kota was in the room too. He had on a look that said 'What just happened?"

I looked directly to Dr. Green. He understood my message and went to the ER, where I assume Silas and Mr. Blackbourne put Nathan.

Kota had a panicked look on his face too. He remembered that someone else was in the room too.

"North, this is Sang. Sang this is North." Kota said, introducing us to one another.

I was about to ask what happened to her before she collapsed in front of Kota, but then he just gave the 'later' look.

Kota and I just had a silent conversation.

'What happened to Nathan?'

'He is in the Er and he may have a broken ankle and a fractured arm.'

Just in that moment, Luke decided to come in.

"I heard what happened to Nathan. Do you think he will want some pancakes when he wakes up?"

I smack Luke on his head.

"Hey, both of you fight later. Remember that this is hospital and there is someone else in here." Kota said, trying to redirect my attention from Luke to Sang.

SANG'S POV

"North, this is Sang. Sang this is North." Kota said, introducing us.

The guy named North had a panicked expression on his face and Kota looked surprised. It looked like he was about to ssay something, but Kota give him a look.

The tears stopped. Who is this Nathan guy? Why did North stop his sentence when he saw me?

"I heard what happened to Nathan. Do you think he will want some pancakes when he wakes up?" A guys says with long blond hair. He eyes were brown and he had high cheekbones. Would it be chocolate chip pancakes? I was taken out of my daydream when I heard someone smack something- or rather someone.

"Hey, both of you fight later. Remember there is someone else in here." I hear Kota say.

I blushed from that and looked down.

Mystery guy was looking at me sympathetically, probably remembering where he saw me.

"Hello. I am Lucian Taylor, but everyone calls me Luke."

I look up shyly and introduce myself.

"Sang." he said, testing out my name. "That is a beautiful name." Luke says.

I blush again. Someone's phone goes off and Luke pulls out his phone.

"It's Gabe. He's wondering why no one is at the diner." Luke mutters.

"Tell him to come to the hospital. Or better yet, start a group message to the others to tell them where we are and what happened to Nathan." Kota said.

A couple of seconds gone by and two phones went off. Both North and Kota looked at their own phones and rolled their eyes.

"He meant Victor and Gabe dumba*s. They are the only two that don't know." North said after smacking Luke again.

"Ow! Sorry."

I smile in amusement. I know I shouldn't, but it is pretty funny. By now, half an hour has passed and I can tell the others are waiting for Dr. Green.

Two more boys around my age come into the room.

"We came as fast as we can." Boy #1 said in a baritone voice.

"What about the diner?" Luke asked.

"We told Uncle what happened and he allowed us to go." Boy #2 said.

Both of them noticed me in the room and quickly introduced themselves.

"I'm Victor Morgan," Boy #1 said in the same baritone voice. Where have I heard that name before? I could see the fire in his eyes as he looked at me.

"I'm Gabriel." Boy #2 said. Gabriel seemed to focus his line of vision towards my hair. He also had two locks of hari in the front that had a lighter shade that the rest of his rich brown hair. He had stud earring on and had a couple of rings on eachh of his hands.

"What happened to her hair.?" Gabriel manage to say.

Was there something wrong with it?

North took this change to smack someone again.

"Sh*t. Really? She just woke up from two days and you comment on her hair." North said.

"Gabe, you can style her hair later." Kota said.

"Well of course. I can't do it while she is in a hospital bed. Even if I really want to."

Dr. Green comes into the room. Is he okay?" Kota asked.

"Yes. But for now, you can visit him one at a time. Sang, you feel any pain?" Dr. Green asked.

"A little." I replied, feeling the ache in my shoulder and my leg.

"Well you shoud rest. As for the rest of you, Sang needs her rest, so you can leave."
