Liam and Donal were bickering during their drive up to Kildargen to get supplies for Quigley's latest developments and hair brained scheme.
"Why are we going this way? If we went along the main road, we wouldn't have to face up to Mr Quigley for a wee while longer." Donal said to the designated driver.
"Well if we are any later than half past Mr Quigley said he would dock our wages by a half, we need the money Donal. People were saying that our business was so good we couldn't organise a piss up in a brewery." His mate, Liam replied.
"True, well it is getting on for a quarter past now, hadn't you better put your foot down?"
And with that the wheeler dealers sped off into the direction of the large town.
"Watch out for that nutcase coming the other way!" Donal called out to Liam, pointed at the speeding blue van which had seen better days.
"That's 'Sumpta's van isn't it? Since when did she have herself down as a boy racer?" Liam added.
"Liam, you are going to have to pull in there isn't enough room for us both and she is driving way too fast."
"Nah, we'll be fine, happen there is just about enough room for the both of us," he replied, not bothering to slow down.
The driver took his eyes off the road as a dreadful ringtone began to play. He fished underneath his seat and found his boss's just as embarrassing fast food shaped mobile phone.
"Quigley must have left this in here when he was giving us the directions to the merchants." He said holding it up, no hands on the wheel.
