The Aurorian Knight Rises
Summary:
After the Unova league, Ash travelled back to Kanto, to take a deserved rest in his favourite corner of the World, Pallet Town. Then, that happened. Something that would change his life for ever.
Previously in TAKR:
"I'm sure that if Ashy-boy could come, he would. I know Delia was the world to him. I've known him since we were little, and that he would never give his back to anyone, let alone his mother. But I'm sure he must have his reasons for not coming." Gary explained calmly.
'And boy, he has truly good reasons.'
"Clearly Iris, you know Ash. He has always been there for the people who needed it, and I agree with Gary that if it has not come yet is probably because something or someone convinced him that is not the best idea." Cilan stated.
"Okay, okay. You win, I can only hope that you're right and that we see Ash soon." Said a crestfallen Iris.
"Champion Iris, you're here too?. Well isn't this is a surprise." Expresed a voice sarcastically.
Sensing a new voice joined the conversation, everyone turned to see better the source of the newly arrived person.
"But if you are-
Chapter III:
Indigo Plateau, Elite Meeting Room:
The best trainer in the whole region. The supreme autority of this land. The trainer that was venered like a god by his people. This man was seen like that by the commoners that inhabitated this part of the world. This man, who irriaded authority, power. This man who showed respect, confidence. He, the dragon master. He, the champion. He, Lance Wataru.
He suspected that something was off when he had heard the rumors that some crazy boy was wandering in Mt. Silver. When he learned that the crazy boy was in fact, a known trainer as the Ketchum boy, he confirmed his suspicions. That something was really out of place. Something was wrong.
The need to investigate further was important, he needed, no, desired to know why a trainer like Ketchum would go mad and start playing god in Mt. Silver. Only the Elites and himself were prepared to deal with that hell and be able to left unharmed. Something that trainers, experienced trainers, could not say the same.
That was the reason that he organized this meeting, to find a solution to this mysterious disappearance. To solve this problem and return to the important plans. This problem called Ash Ketchum.
He gazed at the people who were now with him, in this blessed room. Four to be precise. Four people worth of his time. Four people worth of his sympathy. Four people worth of his trust.
Only this people knew his true intentions. The very reason of why it was so important to find the Ketchum boy. That shocking secret that the damned boy held with him.
They all were seated in a rectangular table made of black marble. The seats were also of marble, but dark blue was it color. No distinctions were made with the seats, all were the same color, including his. In this room they were equal. Because when it was needed to make important decisions, all of them held greatly relevance and influence.
He was glad that he could count on this four people. This people who were the best of the best. The Elites of this region. He started to look at them one by one. First, the only woman that was in the room. The mistress of the dark. The woman who exuded beauty. She, with the hourglass figure, the pretty face and her long and silky grey hair. She offered him one of her famous foxy grins. He smirked. This woman always knew how to amuse him.
He then looked to the youngest man in the room. The master of mischief and disguise. The man who proved everyone that the people that you least suspected might achieve greatness. The man who could transform and mimick everyone. The man with the one thousand faces. His eyes were covered by a mask, but he knew that the masquerade was looking at him with anticipation. He was always eager to know more about their new targets and objetives.
He changed his gaze to look at the big man in the table. A man whose body was stone-carved, a build of strength and a inquebrantable fortress. An expert of martial arts, who could knock everyone out within a second. Due to his constant training, he was used to wear only a pair of white karate pants, leaving him with bare feet and a naked, scarred chest. His face showed determination but also calmness, proven by his eyes which were closed at the moment. He was sure that the man was expecting with anticipation for him to talk. He knew that he could perfectly suppress his emotions, but he could not fool him. He was his subordinate after all.
Finally, he turned to look at the final member of this team. The man full of experience. The man who mastered ninja techniques and was fast as a lighting bolt. A man so deadly and sneaky. The perfect spy, the perfect ninja, the perfect weapon. He was clad in his common ninja attire, full of gadgets, of course. Full of shurikens, poisoned needles, and full of death. A man full of surprises. He was unpredictable, but he was also loyal, loyal to him.
They were all different. They had various skills and personalities. But they had one thing in common. Him. They were together because of him. They were a team because of him. He believed in their true potential. He was sure that they were Kanto and Johto's best. He believed that they were unstoppable. He labelled them as comrades.
"My friends, it is time to make our move. This incident with the Ketchum boy is just the beginning, as you may have already perceived. They will enter the game soon and we have to be prepared for everything. They will not show mercy of any kind, but neither us. From now on, you will be able to use your full team, your full potential. That way, we can show to everyone that we are a thundering force. A force to be reckoned with, especially to that fools of the International Police who are always eager to interfere with our plans" The champion said with full seriousness.
"Isn't to go overboard to use a full team?. You know, I hardly believe that anyone can withstand our power in that case. Maybe if we use half-
"No Will, I understand where are you going. We will stomp the insects with our maximum power, so we can avoid something like this to happen in the future. This insurgency will not have a chance to gestate again. I will make sure of that" The dragon master said with a dead look in his eyes.
"Okay, okay, I get it. Don't need to get mad with me. You can be very imposing when you want, Mr. Champion". The masquerade said while smirking.
"Well my beloved champion, I think I must thank you for letting us to play with our big toys. We hadn't the chance before to have fun, since... well, never. You can pass later for my chambers to pick up your thanks". The dark mistress expressed sensually, with a wink.
"It is the beginning of the end if I must add fufufu...". The ninja master voiced.
"Leader, do we have to integrate the Gym Leaders into our plan?." The man with the black belt spoke.
The redhead managed to show a small smile.
"Yes, thoughtful as always, Bruno. We will need them to reinforce the security in all the cities and towns in the region. They are great symbols for the people, they will contribute greatly in our victory. I am sure I can count in you and Koga to spread our word in Kanto and Johto?"
"As always, leader". Bruno said calmly.
"Like my fellow elite said, we will carry our mission with perfection, leader-sama". Koga expressed with a reverence.
"Excellent, if there is nothing more to speak about, be on your way". Lance specified.
"One more thing Lance, should we alert the other heads of this threat?". Will asked sincerely.
"No, I am sure that Rock Boy, Mister Flamboyant and Miss Perfection already know. The others, well, I am not sure. But it is not our task to let them know. If they are so skilled like they believe, they will find out, if not... they will perish." The champion sentenced with a wicked smirk.
"But if you are... Hilda!" Iris spoke, surprised to find the trainer.
In front of them was a a girl with a peculiar outfit. She was wearing a sleeveless black jacket with a white dress underneath. She also sported a pair of jean shorts, a pair of black and pink boots and a white and pink cap on her head. Her brunette hair was tied in a long ponytail.
"I'm glad that you managed to memorize my name, Champion Iris. I didn't know I was worth remembering" The newly arrived trainer said sarcastically.
Tch, first I have to deal with the psychic bitch and now I have to face with this, this... nuisance.
"What are you doing here Hilda?. I'm not in the mood to have a battle with you. Come to see me when you beat Marshal. Of course, if you can finally achieve that". The champion of Unova said quite bothered.
"Hehehe... You got it all wrong, champion. I don't need nor want to fight you. Marshal is my last obstacle to become Unova's finest. I'm not interested in fighting someone like you, someone who is a pretender". The trainer from Nuvema Town answered, with arrogancy.
"You little bi-
"Iris! Do you remember anything we have talked?. You need to start to behave like a champion!. A person of your status has to be the epitome of kindness and grace, some things that you lack at this very moment..." Cilan said with a deep sigh.
"But Cilan she's-
"No buts, Iris. Do you mind doing the proper presentations?. I'm sure your friend is waiting for you to introduce her to all of us". The leader of Striaton expressed with another sigh.
"Cilan you don-
"There is no need, gentleman. My name is Hilda Touko, and as you may have already suspected I'm a trainer from the Unova region. Nice to meet you all" The brunette spoke, while doing a reverence.
"To answer the champion's question, I'm here to pay my respects to the mother of my dear friend. I didn't expect though, to run into little champion here of all people." Hilda said with a smirk.
"Wait, so you know Ash?. I didn't know Ketchum was friends with a mare..." Iris counterattacked.
"Hehehe... I didn't knew champions were so bad mouthed, I think you might take the gentleman's advice and try to be more graceful. Don't you think so, Iris?." The capped trainer said with a small smile.
Tch!, this bitch thinks too highly of herself. I will show her!, I will show her my power!. The power who made me Unova's rightful champion!. I only need to use Haxorus, he can annihilate her whole team, and then this missy will learn who's the boss.
"That's it. It's over for you Hilda. You wanted a battle, you will have it now!." Iris said, while reaching for the pokéball.
"Stop. Stop what you're doing. I don't care if you are a champion or not. I will not allow anyone to fight in this place, it will insult Delia's loving memory. If you can't restrain yourself so badly, then leave. The same goes for you, ponytail girl". Gary spoke, with determination.
The champion was full of anger, but managed to suppress everything to not say a word.
"Fear not, pretty boy. That was not my intention. I know what being in this place means, it seems that lil champ here can't deal with being toyed with. As I said earlier, I have come to pay my respects to the mother of my dear friend. That, and to pass a message". Hilda said seriously, lacking the playfulness of before.
"What kind of message, Hilda?" Brock asked quite intrigued.
Hilda took the time to look at the faces of all the people who were in that moment in the garden. One by one.
"Ash is alive"
Well, after a while, the story has been updated again!. Sorry for taking so long, but I'm very busy with the university and my life. Fear not, the stories will continue unless I specify otherwise. They will not be cancelled. Even if I take a year to update them, they will continue.
In that regard, I don't know when would the next update be. I'm positive that before July I will have more chapters to upload. But, no promises either.
I'm liking the feedback that this story is getting, so please, keep reviewing!. It is my fuel that drives me to continue writing!.
