Chapter Two - A new threat

That night after I had something to eat I went into my hut, and just looked around. It was a small room with a coat (at least thats what Hahli told me), a table with a chair, and some really nice decoration. I smiled to myself thinking on how lucky this village took me in as if I was one of their own, and I even made a paticiler friend by the name of Maku who apparently was the one that I met earlier on the beach. I went over to the coat and while I took off my wet shoes and sock I couldn't help but think on what I should do. I looked down at my my clothes and I could tell that I'm going to have to change out of them at some point, but I doubt that they would have anything for me to wear. 'Well I guess I'll worry about that later I guess' I thought to myself as I got onto the coat, and laid my head down. I couldn't help but wonder if I was ever going to remember who I was, and where I came from. As I thought so hard about these things my eyes started to get heavy, and before I knew it I was fast asleep.

(Gali POV)

I stood a little ways off were the human girl was staying, and I couldn't help but feel sorry for her. To have lose her memorize of not only her who she was, but also to not remember her name. But what I couldn't understand was her destiny, 'could she really be the one Turaga Nokama mention? does she really have that kind of ability to du so? and if so, then what Turaga Nokama said is true' I thought to myself. 'But how was I going to explain this to the others?'

"Is something the matter Toa Gali?" spoke a old wise voice from behind.

I turned around to face the village Turaga and just smiled. "No" I said, "nothing at all Turaga Nokama."

Turaga Nokama just stared at me as if not believing my words, and came a little closer. "I believe your thoughts is on the child I presumed" she said while looking at the hut where the human was staying at.

It was not a shock that she can read me like a open book, and some how know how I was feeling with certain thing. "Yes" I finally said, "I'm worried on what my brothers will think of her… especially Tahu."

"I under stand your worry on how your brothers may feel over the new arrival" Truaga Nokama began, "but I feel that the child needs to settle down before exploring the other Koro's, and meet the other matorans and Toas."

I couldn't help but agree with my Turaga, but it still did not ease me on how Tahu will react to her. I know how he will react to any situation he acts first, and not ask questions. It makes me sick just thinking about it, and it doesn't help not going to be there for her if he does react the way I know he'll react. But I am a little at ease knowing how the other three will react. Lewa (knowing that she is a female) would probably try yo flirt with her, Onua might be nerves with her at first but would probably be a good protecting her from any danger, and Pohatu would be friend anyone with out thinking. As for Kopaka he's a bit of a mystery to me I don't even know what he's thinking at times, but I hope he takes to her as an allied and not an enemy.

I suddenly felt a gentle hand on my shoulders, and looked over at the only other being here. "It's best if you get some rest Gali" Turaga Nokama said, "tomorrow is another day, and I'm sure in due time the child will want to go out and explore the rest of Mata-Nui."

"I know" I said in a worry tone, "but Turaga it's still too dangerous with all these strange rani appearing out of nowhere."

"Toa Gali" Turaga spoked in a soft stern voice, "she will be fine… your starting to act like a mother Ash bear over her cubs!"

I was shocked at what my Turaga had said to me, and I wondered if she was right. 'Am I'm really being over protective of this human' I thought to myself, and now I've come to thought that I was being over protective to a being I only met since today. All the less I took a quick look at the hut that Rorika was now staying in, and decided that I will try to learn what kind of person she is. So with a sigh I removed Turaga Nokama's hand on my shoulder, and went to my hut after I said my good night. But my mind still wasn't at ease for some reason, and as I went into my hut it had just hit me… all my brothers were coming to Ga-Koro tomorrow.

Rorika (POV)

The next morning I woke up feeling a bit well rested, but I didn't want to leave the comfort and warmth from the cot. Unfortunately Turaga Nokama came into my hut, and basically like any mother or grandmother she tried getting me up and out of bed. In which she was very successful in doing, then she was now leading me out of the hut, and into the nice warmth of the sun. The sun felt so nice and warm, and I heard a chuckle from Turaga Nokama just before she lead me over to her hut probable wanting to tell me something. Just as we were about to enter the hut I heard some male voices that was coming towards the Village, and the next thing I knew I was pushed into the elders hut with the door closed behind me. 'Whats going on?' I thought to myself as I tried to open the door with no success. What I didn't know was that Gali was telling Turaga Nokama to keep me in the hut, until she says its okay for me to come out.

Gali (POV)

When I heard the other Toa coming, and saw Rorika being guided into Turaga Nokama hut. I hurried over to the hut, pushed the human inside, and shut the door. Turaga Nokama stared at me a bit shocked at what I had just did, and I couldn't blame her I still couldn't believe I did what I just did. "Toa Gali what is the mean of this?" Turaga Nokama asked me.

"I had forgotten that my brothers were coming here for a quick meeting, and I just panicked."

"I'm sure everything is going to be fine" Turaga Nokama said trying to calm me down.

I took a deep breath to calm myself before saying anything, "Turaga Nokama can you please keep her in the hut until I say so."

Turaga Nokama just nod her head, and went into her hut. I took a deep breath, and started heading towards the beach. Knowing Pohatu he wouldn't want to step anywhere near my village unless he is being dragged by the others. As a walked on the brigade I couldn't help but notice Kopaka staring at my village, 'Oh Mata-Nui' I said to myself 'I hope he's not using his scope.'

"Hello-hi sister!" my attention was drawn away from Kopaka, and unto the Toa of air.

"Hello Lewa" I said with a convincing smile.

That drew Kopaka's attention away from my village, but now unto me which now made me nervous. "Seeing how everyone is now here" spoke our fearless leader Tahu, "shall we begin this meet."

The meeting went on with everyone giving updates on there villages, and surprisingly Tahu isn't starting a fight with Kopaka which made be a bit suspicious. It's not that I don't like this nice fight less meeting, but it still bugged me so very much that I began to wonder if this was really Tahu, and not some kind of trap from the Makuta. As the meet began to come to a close Kopaka started speaking, "the other day I saw a shadowy figure near an abandon cave up in my wahi, but it was gone by the time I went up to the cave to investigate."

"Could it be one of Makuta?" Onua asked.

"That's what I was thinking, but this figure was wearing some sort of cloth" Kopaka said in his normal icy voice, "it didn't seemed to be allied with the Makuta, but I wouldn't let my guard down though… it could still pose as a thwart to the island."

"Speaking of new strange figures" Tahu began staring right at me, "how is your new guest doing… Gali."

To be continued…
