Chapter Three - Meeting the Toa

Where we last left off...

"How is your new guest doing Gali" Tahu asked staring right at me.

My heart had latterly jumped when he asked me that, and the others were just confused at what he just said. 'How did he know?' I asked myself, 'how could he possibly know about Rorika?'

"What new guest?" Lewa asked to break the awkward silent.

"Gali" Kopaka spoke, "I know this guest of your's is at your Turaga's hut."

I couldn't believe this was happening I mean Kopaka I could understand finding out, but Tahu I still couldn't wrap my mind around. But it seems I had no choice but to tell them about Rorika, and I hopped that Roriaka would be ready to have some company. As I took a deep breath I began to explain who this guest was, and how I saved her from a watery death. After explaining to my brothers they were silent with a shocking look on there face (well at least three of them had a shocking look on there faces). "So" Pohatu began, "she has no memories of her past at all?"

"Not a single memory" I said in a sad tone.

"Well then" Lewa said in his happy tone, "lets go meet-greet her."

I hardly had time to stop him when he hurriedly went by me, and towards my Turaga's hut. "Lewa wait" I shouted to him, but he had already reached the Turaga's hut as Rorika and Nokama came out.

Rorika (POV)

After what ever happen a while ago Turaga Nokama gave me some lessons I need since I was going to be on this island for a while. She taught me the matoran alphabet and numbers, and also told me some of the other Koros on this island. After when the lesson was done for the day me and Turaga Nokama started to head out the door, and just as I stepped out of the hut some tall green being came at me from no where with a big smile. "Hello-hi strange-wonder" he said happily, "I'm Toa Lewa spirit of air, and you must be Rorika right?"

I backed away a bit with a mixture of fear and confusion. 'Where did this guy came from?' I asked myself to scarred to say anything.

"Toa Lewa" Nokama began with a hint of harshness in her voice, "how did you came to know her existence?"

"Tahu-brother asked Gali-sister about the new strange-guest, and Kopaka-brother see-saw same-mention person" Lewa explained backed away a little from Turaga Nokama stare.

Just before Turaga Nokama could say anything the other four other Toa plus Gali came to where we were, and I was even more afraid then I was with Lewa. Gali must of saw how scared I was, cause I saw her coming to my side, and placed a hand on my shoulders. "Its alright Rorika" Gali said in a calming voice, "I promise you that they will not harm you."

Though her words had calm me a bit, but I was still a bit scared of these new beings. The brown one must of sensed my fear came up to me and smile a friendly smile at me (I guess to keep me calm a bit). "Hello Rorika" he began in the most friendly voice, "I'm Pohatu Toa of stone."

I looked at him into his eyes, and there was something in his eyes that seemed to have matched his personality. But all I could do was give a small smile at him, before I was comforted with a black figure. "Hey there" the black figure said in a gruff voice, "I'm Onua Toa of earth."

Though he may seem really tough and strong, but by the way he spoke to me he was a bit shy, and loveably (well at least to me). I glanced over at the other two that were left, and wonder which one was Tahu that Lewa mention. "The red one on the left is our fearless leader Tahu Toa of fire" Pohatu said pointing at the red figure before going to the last figure, "and the icy one is Kopak Toa of Ice."

I first stared at Kopaka, and for odd reasons I felt like my privetsy was being invaded (and I thin its due to that wired scope on his right eye). Then I looked over at Tahu, and I notice him giving me a strange look Like he's expect me to do something. Just before I could say anything Lewa came up to me once more and basically asked if I would like to go wind-flying with him. But Turaga Nokama gentle grabbed me by the arm and said, "I believe she had enough excitement for one day, and I would rather have her settle down till she good and ready to travel to the other Koro."

With that said Turaga Nokama lead me away from the Toa's and over to another hut to on quote 'get me fitted for new cloths'.

Tahu's (POV)

Meeting Rorika in person, and I already knew she had to be the one from my dream. But I have to wait and see what Mata-Nui will do, and I'm guessing that some being might be putting her to the test. To see if she could be capable of the destiny she will have to face, and learn from any mistakes she might make. 'Like I would learn from that' I thought to myself.

"She seemed quite shy don't you think Tahu" Pohatu spoke out.

"She on a totally new island with being like her own, and completely lost her memories Pohatu" I said facing him, "of course she would be shy, and scared to meet new beings."

All of my team mates just stared at me rather shocked at what I just said. I just stared back at them, and I was feeling rather uncomfortable with their stare. "The great and feariced firespirtter actually saying something logic and kind" the ice head said with a smirk, "is it due to this knew girl softening your heart or something?"

If I wasn't already red I would be heating up with what Ice head just said. I decide to leave before I either one lose my temper, or two I die of embarrassment. "I'm heading back to my village" was all I said before anybody could ask where I was going, and with that I left the village of water.

Gali (POV)

As I watched Tahu leave the others decide it was best to be heading back to their village as well, but my thoughts went back to what Tahu just said, and I couldn't help but to agree with him. Rorika was in a new place, with new beings she has no clue about, and most of all the lost of her memories. But I'm still quite shocked that he said those things about her, and now I wonder if her coming here would be good for our fiery leader to lower his temperature more then anything else. "Maybe its best to see what happens" I spoke softly to myself as I made my way over to the hut where the Turaga and Rorika were, and waited outside for them to come out.

? (POV)

Up on the waterfall sat four spirit animal looking down at the water village each eagerly wanting to meet there new master. But the time wasn't right to meet their new human vessel, and continued to watch where they sat wanting her to get used to her new surrounding and the new beings who she will help to protect. Soon very soon they will teach the girl what her destiny on this island is going to be, and hope that she was prepare for what was to come. For the dark one was growing by the minute, and they don't know when he will strike, but they know it won't be long till trouble comes showing its ugly face.
