Chapter Five - The Village of Air

A/N: Sorry for tho this one to be a bit late, but last summer my Grampie had passed away, and I really didn't feel like doing any writing… But now I'm back, and I am ready to start typing more chapters again :) So anyways where we last left off.

(Gali's POV)

Just as we got close to the village, then out of nowhere Lewa appeared in front of us, and startled poor Rorika. "Brother" I said holding my hand over my heart light.

"Sorry-much for the sudden scare" Lewa said in his usally quick speaking, "but I couldn't help but notice that you two were foot-walking to some where, and I thought to sky-drop on down to see where."

"We were heading towards Le-Koro" I explained to him, "so that Rorika can spend sometime in the village."

"Ah, so the shy walker wish to stay in my village" Lewa said looking at Rorika happily.

"y-yes" Rorika said in a shy low voice.

"I'll be happy-glade to show you around my village" Lewa said as he started to levitate off the ground, "it'll be much quicker flying their."

I looked over at Rorika, and saw a surprise look on her face. I put my hand on her shoulder, and told her that it was going to be alright. So after some comforting and some convincing, we finally got Rorika to get on Lewa's back, and we both used our Miru to fly towards the village of air. When we made it up to the nearest plate form, Rorika jumped off of Lewa's back, and in a intense the expression in her eyes were filled with amazement. I could help but smile as she now started to wonder around the village of air, while keeping to my eye sight. Just then Turaga Matua came towards us with a happy smile on his mask. "Welcome human-child to the lively village of Le-Koro" Turaga Matua said as he greeted Rorika.

I saw Rorika smiled at the Turaga, and quietly said hello. With al the greeting done Turaga Matua decided it would be best that Rorika gets familiar with the village, and to get her settled into her assigned hut.

(Rorika's POV)

The village of air was exactly like Turaga Nokama had described it. We were really high up from the ground, the happy Le-Matoran's busy doing their lob, and the happy song could be heard every were. As Lewa was giving me the tour of the village I couldn't help but took notice of a particular rahi that was staring at me from a near by tree. It wasn't like any of the other rani birds I've seen so far. I wanted ti take a closer look at it, but once when Lewa called me I turned to him, then back at the rani, and when I did it was already gone.

I shrugged my shoulders, and went over to where Lewa and Gali was. The tour was once again started as Lewa showed me a few more things about Le-Koro, before we stopped at a nice looking hut in which I was going to stay in for the time being. I had thanked Lewa for the tour of Le-Koro, then me and Gali entered the hut to unpack my things.

As I unpacked I couldn't help but think about that Rahi bird. I couldn't help but shake this feeling that it didn't belonged her like I was. So why do I feel that I should know what kind of Rahi it's suppose to be?

"Are you alright Rorika? Gali asked me as she placed her hand on my shoulder

"Yah I'm alright Gali" I replied, "just a little tired that's all."

"If you say so" she said with a smile, "why don't you get some rest."

"Kay" I said getting up on the cot, and laid down for a nice long nap.

(Egal POV)

The moment I saw her I knew that I and the others had made the right choice. This child will save the island from it's most darkest fears. But for now I will let you settle in before I reveal to her why she is here.
