I want to start off by saying to all the wonderful people who have read and reviewed; and also have clicked the favorite button for my story…. That I'm deeply sorry that it has been so long since I've updated. Life has been hectic, with work and school; and taking care of a family. It also hasn't been easy to write; every time I try to start my own story to try and publish, it just doesn't work out. It's easy for me to get the ball rolling; it is not so easy for me to start a story in a strong way that I want. Solid foundation and all that; so if anyone has any pointers or tips for me… they are most welcome. Anyways, now for the important part of all of this, here is my update. Love all of you guys and again, thank you for all your support and encouraging words.

I stood there staring at the scene playing out before me; I had no idea what I was supposed to do. I knew that I should have been doing something, but I just couldn't move. Before I could register anything else; Dimitri had a hold of my hand and was moving us quickly towards the front door.
"Hey!" I heard Ryan shout from behind us. I glanced back over my shoulder at him.
"Roza, keep going, wait for me outside." Dimitri said gently pushing me ahead of him. He immediately turned around and started walking towards Ryan.
I started to move towards them to break them up before things got bad; well mostly before I thought Dimitri would hurt Ryan; when I felt someone grab my wrist and pull me back.
"Rose," Anna had grabbed me and pulled me back; I looked at her face and I don't think I've ever seen her look so serious. "I know this isn't the best of timing, but I need to say something to you; and don't bother trying to break up there fight. Growing up with my brother and his friends, sometimes boys just have to be boys and fighting sometimes is a part of that with them." She said rolling her eyes, like she's seen this all the time.
I stared between her and the guys; I felt like I should do something; but Anna did have a point. Boys WILL BE boys. I sighed giving up and turning back to Anna to hear what she had to tell me. She still had a hold of my wrist and pulled me outside behind her.
Anna stood there staring at me for a minute before speaking. "Let me start by saying that, I'm not stupid Rose, I can put two and two together. You don't seem like a bad person to me; but you need to stop stringing them along. My brother really seems to like you; and I would do almost anything to see him happy, he's my family. But, I don't want to see him go down a road that's going to cause him pain. Fix this Rose; you need to really think about what you want." With that she turned and walked back inside the house. I stood frozen to the spot; what she had said to me felt like she had dumped a bucket of ice cold water on me.
I knew I couldn't stand to see Dimitri and Ryan fighting, so numbly I turned around and started to walk home.

"Hey!" I heard Ryan shout; I couldn't believe the nerve of this kid. I looked down at Roza and saw her glancing over her shoulder at him.
"Roza, keep going, wait for me outside." I said gently pushing her ahead of me. I immediately turned around and started walking towards this kid, which obviously needed a lesson taught to him.
We both looked into each others eyes and I could see the challenge burning in his and knew that he wanted to hurt me just as much as I wanted to hurt him right now; but he simply lacked the training to do so. I smirked at him and that seem to be all that was needed to push him over the edge. He quickly marched to me with a strong purpose and determination. I turned around just to make sure that Roza wasn't in here to see what was about to happen; I could see how she felt about this boy and I didn't want to cause her anymore pain than I already have. Much to my relief I saw Anna pulling her outside.
"Are you sure boy that you really want to start this!" I raised my voice enough that I made sure he could hear me. Before I could turn back around to face him, he was right in front of me getting into my face.
"Oh, I'm sure alright; she's mine."
I shoved him back and pointed at him, "I'd watch what you're saying boy!" I could feel the adrenaline surge through my body as I felt the anger in my go from a spark to a flame.
"Oh, and why is that? What do you think you can do?" He cockily said coming back towards me with an overconfident swagger in his step; until another guy I didn't recognize stepped in between us; the guy wasn't doing anything but standing between us.
Another guy stepped in-between us and pushed us apart from each other. "Don't worry, you're about to find out," I yelled back at him. The guy that had stepped in a pushed us apart stepped forward and put his hand on my shoulder; I glared at him and swatted his hand off of me. "Come, hit me, try and do something to me!" I dared Ryan.
He stepped up in my face again; he was almost my height, so with him standing so close to me he was a mere couple inches from me face to face. He threw his arms out to his sides, "No, come on; you hit me big man, didn't you tell me earlier that you would kill me if I ever touched her again. Well, here I am bro, kill me. Because as soon as I'm done with you I'm going to make sure that she will never feel anything other than hate for you; because you're messing with the wrong guy. You're a fucking dead man." He said the last cutting his hand across his throat.
I shoved him with a lot more force than I had the first time, causing him to fly back a few feet. I started charging towards him, I could feel people trying to grab me to, to stop my advance towards him. Again, the same two guys as before stepped in between us and were shoving us away from each other. I stepped into Ryan's face the same instant he stepped up into mine; only this time we each had about two guys behind us holding us back from each other.
"No!" I yelled, shoving my finger into Ryan's chest. "You don't know who you're fucking dealing with, you're not going to do anything to me, and you will never come near Roza again!" I shoved him into a wall and could feel someone grabbing a hold of the back of my shirt causing the collar to pull tight against my throat but it didn't faze me. I got up in his face again and lowered my voice, "And just so we're clear, I know exactly who I'm dealing with, I know exactly who you are. This façade you have is about to crumble down around you, and she will never love you."
I saw the movement out of the corner out of my eye, but he was faster than I had anticipated and he swung out and caught me on the left side of my jaw, causing my head to snap to the side. A sharp pain shot up the side of my face and it only added fuel to the flame. I grabbed the front of his shirt with my left hand and yanked him towards me forcefully enough that his head jerked back; which gave me the perfect opening to swing a right hook around and catch him dead center in his mouth. His lip instantly busted open; his blood covering my fist and the front of his shirt. He swung back and caught me in my rib, at the same time he caught the back of my leg with his foot and yanked my leg out from under me; I hit the ground hard bracing my arms to take the blunt of the fall and to keep the back of my head from hitting the ground.
He was immediately over top of me grabbing the front of my shirt and lifting my head and shoulders up off the ground; until I saw a couple of different guys move in behind him and pull him off of me; and threw him out of the front door of the house, and followed behind him.
I laid there for a minute, thinking about the last few minutes. He obviously had better training than I thought possible for his situation. He never even graduated; so how was his training better than mine. What guardian trained that child?
