ROSE
I slowly walked to the park and stood there in the misty morning, staring at the empty swing set. I shoved my hands inside my coat pockets to fight off the chill seeping into my bones. Fall is right around the corner, I noted, staring at the few trees randomly changing colors getting a head start from their stubborn brethren.
I heard footsteps slowly approaching behind me, the slight breeze helps to carry his scent to me and I can feel the muscles in my body relaxing. Tension leaving the back of my neck, tension I didn't even realize I had, until that instant. I don't turn around to face him but instead I wait to see what he's going to do or say to me, so I stood there and leaned against the swing set. I felt him walked up close behind me, his body heat warming my back, I was about to turn around to face him when a black glove shoved something over my nose and mouth, at the same time his other arm came around wrapping around me and crushing my arms to my body so I couldn't fight back; not that I would of had much of a chance to fight back anyways as my vision began to blacken and my body sagged downward in deadweight, then everything went black.
I woke up sitting in a chair while I was leaning forward with my head on a table, my hands were cuffed behind my back and through the chair. I sat up and leaning over I looked down at the chair, its legs nailed down to a cement floor with a drain in the middle of the room. Chills sang up and down my spine, my mind working in overtime trying to remember everything little I could possibly remember from just right before everything went black. To my left was a huge wall with a mirror, no not a mirror, this is an interrogation room.
'What the hell I think to myself!' panic rising hard and fast in my chest. 'Deep breathes Rose, deep breathes calm down, you've been through worse.' I attempted to give myself a pep talk. I started looking around the room; with its mustered colored walls, paint chipped ceiling, and a small camera up in the corner, to my right was a solid looking grey door with a small rectangular window to see out of. I sat in awkwardly uncomfortable stainless steel chair with a thin black hard plastic seat, the table sitting in front of me was sold stainless steel and looked like it weighed a lot.
Before I had time to register anything else, in walked a big burly looking guy, he had a thick brown beard and he was stocky I noticed, at first glance I thought a was fat not muscles. He looked to be in about his forties and had the palest blue eyes that I've ever seen on a human.
He sat down across from me, lacing his fingers together, arms stretched out in front of him, leaning over the table towards me, his jacket flashed open at the movement and that's when I caught a glimpse of the gun he had holstered.

DIMITRI
I honestly don't know whether to be mad or worried. Why would she call me just to turn around a stand me up? Rosa may at times be petty and insecure but one thing she isn't is a coward. But then again, anymore it seems like we are all living in an alternate reality anymore, everything is so normal and the humans are all so very naïve, with boring routines, crazy hormones, and concerns that would seem like absolutely nothing in our world. I sighed sitting down on a swing, at what has seems to have become our spot of sorts, and I put my head in my hands and run my face in frustration. But if she's not standing me up, then did something happen to her. Just because we are out in the Human world doesn't mean threats still don't exist from both sides!
My cell started vibrating in my jacket pocket, I quickly pulled it out hoping to see Rozas' name across the screen. I sighed, that would be too easy.
"Hey man, where are you? Duty calls," and with that he hung up. I sighed dropping my hand, and stood up sliding the phone back into my pocket and started off towards school, if anything I'm sure I'll see Roza there.
