"Alright, men! Line up! Hit the Magic Power Finder with your strongest spell. That will contribute to who possible unit make-ups." I shouted, directing the mages in front of me into three lines in front of a MPF. "Ready. Set. Fire!"

I watched as Laxus Dreyar launched himself at the MPF, fists blazing with bright yellow lightning. He shouted something I couldn't catch before his lightning grew twice in size. He swung and hit the MPF. It dinged and "8,985" appeared above it. Jura was next. He performed as spell I didn't hear and received a "6,459" from the MPF. Erza was a mere "4,677", Natsu and Gray got equal scores of "3,898", which started a fight that Erza had to end. Gajeel received a score of "6,864". Sting and Rogue also got equal scores of "8,001", which made them smirk in victory over Natsu and Gajeel. Romeo and Wendy went next, Romeo getting a score of "1,409" and Wendy a score of "3,585". Gildarts sighed loudly before launching his attack at the MPF and receiving a score of "8,999". Rufus used his "Night of Falling Stars" spell and a "6,788" dinged out of the MPF. Orga was gifted with a nice score of "6,753". Evergreen took the lowest score from Fairy Tail with a "1,003". Freed did his quickly, mumbling words I couldn't catch, and out popped a score of "7,809". Bixlow yelled "Byron Formation" before sticking his tongue out distastefully and giving a shout of joy over a "7,681" score. Juvia used water slicer and received a rather high score of "5,679" for such a basic attack.

Lucy Heartfilia stepped up last. She held her hands to her sides. Her eyes closed and facing the MPF.

"Survey the Heavens, Open the Heavens...

All the stars, far and wide...

Show me thy appearance...

With such shine.

She began to glow and miniature planets formed around her. The planets hurtled into the MPF at mind boggling speeds. "9,999" zoomed upward from the MPF. She smirked triumphantly and turned to go sit with Laxus, who was mimicking her face perfectly.

I watched with slight envy in my heart as Laxus picked up Lucy and spun her around. She had her arms wrapped around his neck and kissed his cheek. I turned away, not really wanting to watch any longer. I looked towards Doranbolt how was chatting with Wendy and Romeo. He felt so happy to see this little girl alive after she realized he could have saved her.

I cleared my throat loudly, gaining the attention of everyone present. "Alright. Well. Who here is capable of a Unison Raid?" Romeo, Gajeel, Juvia, Wendy, Gray, Natsu, Orga, Rufus, Sting, Lucy, and Laxus's hands shot up. "Alright then. Group with the people you are able to Unison Raid with."

Laxus and Lucy were the first pair I saw. They were soon joined by Orga, Sting, and Rogue. Juvia and Gray walked over and joined them, along with Romeo and Natsu. Wendy walked over with Gajeel. They all ended up standing in one big group. I sighed.

"Lucy, who can you perform a Unison Raid with?" Doranbolt asked.

"Wendy, Gajeel, Natsu, Sting, Rogue, Orga, Romeo, Gray, Juvia, and Laxus!" She smiled at me.

I sweat dropped. "Okay. Who can do it without Lucy?"

Juvia, Gray, Laxus, Orga, Sting, Rogue, Romeo, Natsu, Gajeel, and Wendy raised their hands.

"Okay. We can work with this. Follow me to the Training Yard." I called and started walking away, already seeing my predictions from last night coming to life. I watched over the next two hours as they trained themselves. Most were looking exhausted by noon. Doranbolt called them in for lunch. We walked into the cafeteria and lined up for food and sat at the tables. I waited a few minutes before shouting for their attention. I handed this off to Doranbolt.

"So your units have been finalized. Unit 134, Juvia Lockser, Gray Fullbuster, Natsu Dragneel, Romeo Conbolt, and Erza Scarlet. Unit 135, Lucy Heartfilia, Laxus Dreyar, Sting Eucliffe, and Rogue Cheney. Unit 136, Rufus Lohr, Gildarts Clive and Orga Nanagear. Unit 137, Wendy Marvell, Freed Justine, Gajeel Redfox, Evergreen of Fairy Tail, and Bixlow of Fairy Tail. Unit 138, Jura Neekis and Lyon Bastia." Doranbolt stated. "Units 134 and 135 will be heading west. While Units 136 and 137 will head south. Unit 138 will remain here in Crocus." Doranbolt looked at the grouped people with a determined stare. "Make Fiore proud. After your meal, you will go back to the Training Yard. At six, you will come in for dinner. After dinner you will go to your dorms. You ship out in the morning, seven o'clock."

I sat next to Doranbolt and began to eat my lunch. My eyes trailed over to Lucy. She was shoving a fork full of salad in Laxus' face. He hastily ate it with a blush staining his cheeks. I let out a low growl and stabbed my fork into my steak. I watched as the juices dripped out of the fork holes.

"Lahar…" Doranbolt said carefully. "You can't be serious. Her of all people. It just had to be her. You have got to be kidding me. You're such a hopeless fool."

"Are you going to help me or not?" I snarled.

"Help you what? Help a taken woman fall in love with you? No I'm not. Do you see the smile she has right now? She hasn't smiled like that in years, Lahar. I'm not going to help you change that. Do you really want to steal that kind of happiness away from her?" Doranbolt scolded.

"I know… I just wish I had made my move before all of this. I should have done it when we came to arrest Jellal after Oracion Seis. I should have done something…" I mumbled.

"But you didn't. Don't ruin this for her." Doranbolt stood and announced lunch was over and led the group out of the cafeteria, leaving me to my thoughts.

So a little insight on what Lahar thinks of Lucy and Laxus. There's more back story there just not going to say anything quite yet. Sorry.

So what do you think of my Zeref's War Arc? I don't like the key of the starry skies ark so I just did this instead!
