Blood and screaming

A tragedy

That led me to you

I became your charge

I became more than that

Feelings became confusing and more complexed

Lines were blurred

All because of one heinous crime

We could not change or prevent

My life in your hands

My heart in your hands

But unlike those in my past

I have no fear

I have no worry

For I trust you with my life

For I trust you with my heart

I know I will be safe with you

Just like your heart is safe with me

One day at time

We take to our future

So much uncertainty

Yet so much love

We do not regret

All because of blurred lines
