Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays! My last chapter update of the year sadly but that's because I'll be gone from the 29th of Dec till Jan 25th. So sorry! But I hope this super long chapter makes up for it! Much love to you all! -xoxo Tak

Filming began a few days after the read through. Everyone was on set, excited and ready to work, but what sucked was they were all required to be there really early. Everyone was very exhausted after only a few hours of work.

"I need a nap!" Katelyn cried out as she slumped down next to Kendall who was sitting on the set floor, watching Carlos and James film with Erin.

"I second that." He added, yawning. He laid back, flat on the ground and shut his eyes.

Katelyn did the same, ending up a lot closer to him than she anticipated, but it felt nice to feel his warmth.

"No sleeping behind the cameras!" One of the crewmembers yelled at them. They both got up and made a dissatisfied face.

They sat back down and watched the filming. During the break they both stood up.

"What are we filming next?" Kendall asked her.

"Shouldn't you know? You're the star of the show!" She asked playfully.

"I read over the script enough to memorize my lines, not to know what scene was going to be filmed next." Kendall said.

"I think it's the scene at the New Town High studio where Kendall tries to prevent Jett and Jo kissing." Katelyn said.

"What's after?" Kendall asked.

"I think it's one more scene at the park, then we're good for us until tomorrow." She gestured between them.

"And tomorrow's the concert scene isn't it?" Kendall asked.

"Yes, I can't wait to hear you guys sing that song!" Katelyn said.

Kendall nodded. The two of them were called up to join the others in the park outside the studio to film their next scene. They both were having fun on set, like nothing had changed between them. They kept messing around on set, making each other laugh while filming, and over all having a good time. After their scenes were done, Katelyn went to the pool set and collapsed on the pool chair. After an hour, Kendall joined her, finally being done for his scenes, he ended up sitting at the foot of Katelyn chair, watching her sleep, or so he thought.

"You're such a creeper Kendall." She said, her eyes still closed.

"I thought you were sleeping." He defended.

"So that gives you an excuse to watch me?" She joked. He pushed her leg playfully.

"What are you doing?" Kendall asked.

"I was tired, and I didn't want to lay on the lumpy couch in my dressing room." She told him. "Why are you here?"

"I was tired to and saw you laying here."

She got up and grabbed his arm and pulled him down next to her. "Then join me lazy bones."

He laughed as they both tried to fit on one pool chair and attempt to be comfy. Katelyn moved in closer to Kendall, resting her head against his. Kendall turned slightly to face her, both smiling. This had been the closest they had gotten in the past month.

"You know what we should do?" Katelyn said. She didn't wait for Kendall's response as she got her phone out of her pocket and turned on the camera.

"Close your eyes like you're sleeping, I want to take a picture to tweet." She said. He laughed and did as she said. They took a few dozen pictures, laughing every time, not being able to make it look like they were genuinely sleeping.

"Why are we so dorky?" Kendall asked laughing as they finally got one they both liked.

"I think you mean adorkable!" Katelyn said giggling.

"Oh I know I am but you, not so much." Kendall joked.

"Dork!" Katelyn said pushing him.

"Oh but you know you wouldn't love me if I wasn't one." Kendall said. Katelyn stuck her tongue at him and smacked him on his arm.

"Ow! You suck!" Kendall exclaimed. They both laughed. Katelyn moved into Kendall's arms and rested her head. Kendall instinctively put his arms around her. It felt really nice to them both to have the other so close without any issues.

"Hey there love birds, we need you to get off the set so we can clean up." One of the crewmembers said to them, making them get up and go join the others filming on the other side of the set. After a while they retreated to Kendall's dressing room along with Ciara and Erin who both were done for the day.

"Do you guys want to grab dinner?" Erin asked them as they sat on Kendall's couch, lying on top of one another.

"I can't, the guys and I have a dance rehearsal before the concert performance tomorrow." Kendall said.

"That's too bad Twinkletoes." Erin said with a giggle.

"Ha ha, very funny." Kendall sarcastically. They all sat around until the other three boys joined them.

"Have fun dancing boys!" Katelyn said winking at all of them, making them laugh as they left for rehearsals. The girls soon followed out and went to dinner, grabbing David and Tanya from their dressing rooms.

The next day they came in bright and early to film. The crew was already sectioning parts of the street for their mini concert for the show. Before they filmed it, the guys had a few more small scenes to film as well as Katelyn, David, and Ciara. The concert was supposed to be their last scene for the day. They tried to quickly get through their scenes to get to the concert part faster.

Katelyn was super excited for her scenes for the day. She was still super new to acting and had always wanted to do a more dramatic and heart-wrenching role and this was the closest she was going to get to that for a while. When she watched Kendall film his part for the episode, she felt something twinge in her heart as he read his lines. She never realized how good of an actor Kendall was when he wasn't being the goofball he is in real life. He looked so sad as he talked into the fake phone in hand. That's when she realized she hated seeing him sad. In any way shape or form. He was so full of joy and laughter that when he was sad, the whole room got sad with him.

When they wrapped up that scene, Katelyn wanted to run up to him and hug him, telling him to never be sad again, but of course she couldn't because it was acting and they had a few more scenes left to film.

"What?" Kendall said to Katelyn as he walked off the set.

She shook her head and looked blankly at him. "What?"

"Kate, why were you staring at me?"

"I was?" She made her self sound surprised. She wasn't going to tell him, but she was going to mess with him. "It's probably because of that big booger coming out of your nose."

Kendall's eyes widened and he quickly wiped his nose only to find nothing there.

"Dude there's nothing on my face you jerk!" He said.

"Woops! The booger isn't in you, it is you." She said with a laugh, bouncing away from him and to the next part of the set where she was needed.

Kendall rolled his eyes at her, smiling as she ran away. He walked to watch her film, but was stopped by one of the directors.

"Whoa there Kendall, where are you going?" He asked.

"I was about to watch Katelyn film." Kendall replied, confused.

"We need you to rehearse with the guys before we film the last scene. You should be back before you're needed in the scene." The director said, rushing Kendall in the opposite direction.

Kendall nodded, still confused as to why he was rushed Kendall away, but he didn't argue. He left the stage and out to find the others in their rehearsal space. They began with their choreography and worked their way to singing and dancing together. After an hour and a half, they had it all down. Kendall went back to the set and was in for an uncomfortable view. Katelyn was kissing David in a way that he was pretty sure Nickelodeon wasn't going to be fond of. He stared at her lips pushing against David's and her hand holding up his cheek. It made Kendall very uncomfortable and he had to look away.

Even after the director yelled cut, Kendall couldn't find himself being able to turn back. He wasn't sure if it was because of his feelings for Katelyn or the fact him and her hadn't shared a real kiss in a while, Kendall was extremely jealous. He didn't like that someone else was butting in to his and her on-screen relationship.

Kendall was called to his place for filming. He perked up when he remembered he was going to be ruining the kiss scene between Jett and Jo for the show. He had run across a few ideas with the director earlier about what he could and couldn't do. His favorite idea was using an air horn and trying to mistake it as root beer.

They filmed the scene a few times. Kendall really enjoyed whacking David on the head, making Katelyn laugh every time, causing them to redo the scene. After they got a few shots where Katelyn didn't laugh, they released the actors to go out for the final scene.

"You looked like you had fun." Katelyn said to Kendall as they began walking out of the studio.

"A little too much fun I think." David said rubbing his head jokingly.

"Sorry dude, I didn't mean to do that so hard." Kendall apologized half-heartedly.

They walked out and to their places. Kendall caught up with the guys and did a few vocal exercises. The band was excited to finally get to play a song from their album that hadn't yet aired on the show. They went up on stage, getting the crowd pumped before they were to perform. After the crew was ready, they called the boys backstage, gave them a quick rundown and told them to make it big, but stick to the script.

The guys went on stage and began the concert. The crowd went wild when they told them that they were going to be performing a new song along with two other songs. They began with "City is Ours" and then were told by the director to start the new song, "Till I Forget About You." They transitioned into acting mode, Kendall putting on his best puppy dog look and went out to sing.

Katelyn held her "I *heart* Kendall" sign, smiling at it. If there were a single prop she loved, it would be this because every time she looked at it, it made her smile wide. A photographer came over to her and took a picture of her holding it. She asked if the person could take a picture on her phone for her. After a few shots, she got ready to push through the crowd with it as the song played.

Dance hard, laugh more, turn the music up now,

Party like a rock star, can I get a what now?

Katelyn chuckled as she heard the guys sing. She got to the middle as the song was approaching its final few verses. That was her cue to begin turning her sign around. When she smiled at Kendall, their eyes locked and he lit up like the sky on Fourth of July. She couldn't help but find him adorable, even if it was for the cameras, though she knew it was only half of why. She then proceeded to walk towards the front, locating Erin and the others. She hugged Erin and whispered to her that all this was crazy. Erin nodded, laughing.

Katelyn let herself mesh with the screaming girls around her for a moment, enjoying the guys continue singing, getting many looks from Kendall while he sang.

"I swear I'll do anything that I have to," the guys sang.

"I can't forget about you." Kendall finished. They all bowed for the crowd.

Katelyn and Erin made their way out of the crowd and backstage where they were allowed to be for the rest of the performance. They joined Tanya and Ciara as they watched the guys from the sides. Katelyn was still holding onto the sign. When Kendall got off stage, he saw her and gave her a wide smirk.

"Guess somebody really does love me." He said jokingly.

"Well how can I not when you can't forget about me." She retorted with her own smug grin. He gave her a playful glare before being ushered away to sign autographs and take pictures with fans. Katelyn laughed a little but admired him and the other boys for their hard work.
