Brick POV
Fail. Fail. Fail.
How hard can this be? I still can't whistle! The worst part is that my favorite song is 'Whistle' by Flo Rida. Irony or what? So I was on my dorm room bed being a complete failure when my phone rang. It was Blossom! Cue girlish fangirl squeals!
"Hey-Sup-How," I had no idea how to greet a girl," Hi." Am I not smooth?
"Hi Brick! So I was wondering if you would like to watch a movie. With me." I covered the phone and squealed "Is there a girl in your dorm?" Blossom asked curiously
"No. I would love to. What time-" I said quickly answering so she would forget what she heard
"But I heard someone squea-" She was a master of interrogation
"It was my hamster." I hate lying to girls I might have feelings for
"You have a hamster?" She asked skeptically
"Yes." I lied
"Can I meet it?" She said sounding excited
"No. It's shy." Please give up Blossy
"Please." I could imagine her doing puppy dog eyes
"Sure." I gave up
"Where's your dorm?" She was gonna come and meet my hamster! Oh no.
"B-13" The dorms were separated by B and G. B for Boys and G for Girls.
"I'll be there in an hour. Bye!" I had one hour to buy a hamster and bring it to my dorm.

"Is it good?" I asked the animal shop girl. I was at the animal shop buying a hamster. Yes I would go that far for Blossom.
It was a really cute hamster, it was dark brown with weirdly red eyes. I took the red eyes as a sign and immediately wanted to buy it.
"It has a tendency to get out of control..." The girl warned. I stared into the hamster's red eyes. It gazed back, somewhat pleadingly.
"I'll buy it. How much?" I said reaching for my wallet.
"$7.00" I shrugged and pulled out a ten.
She was about to hand me the change but I winked," Keep it."
The girl blushed and waved goodbye as I left the store with my hamster in a cage. I needed to give it a name.
