Elsa
Saying goodbye in the morning was far harder than it should have been. I wanted nothing more than to spend every minute of the morning and all the way through the afternoon in this bed with this beautiful woman. But we weren't quite ready for that. Instead, that silver tongue of her talked me out from below the covers.
"Come on, my queen. You need to get out of here before we are caught." Her voice was light and happy as she gently kissed my bare shoulder.
"I don't care. The whole world could know, and all I would want is to just stay inside this bed."
She laughed a beautiful and peaceful sound. Those startling eyes were heavy with content as she whispered close to my ear, "Someday you will." Serephina sealed her words with a kiss, and against my will, I was forced out of the bed.
I picked up my discarded night gown from the floor. Straightening it out in front of me, the design of lace and silk seemed odd to me. Now, I had no more urge to cover myself, especially in her presence. As if on cue, warm dark hands reached from behind, settling on my pale as snow stomach.
"Need some help with that?" she whispered hoarsely into my ear. I lifted the gown above my head, letting the material tumble down around me once more. My lover guided it down gently, letting her fingers smooth the fabric across my thighs and waist. Once my arms were through their sleeves, my hands found her on my stomach. I moaned softly as her lips sucked at my neck and her teeth nipped my skin.
"This is torture," I whined. As soon as she began to pull away from me, chuckling quietly, I gripped her tighter, "No, don't stop."
"No, my queen. It is time for us to part for now." I spun in her grip to stare into her eyes. My knuckle traced her perfect cheek bone as I admired her beauty. She looked down at me, smiling in such a way that made my heart feel like it was on fire, in the best way of course. Her hold was so strong and comforting on my spine, and mine felt so natural on her shoulders.
"One more thing before I leave, close your eyes."
"What?" She smirked at me, confusion clear on her face.
"Just trust me," I smiled. She did what I asked, and my hands ran lower from her shoulders to the center of her chest. There, my fingers began to undo her shirt.
"Elsa," she sighed, worry feeling her voice. I stopped anymore words with my mouth on her. With our lips and tongues intermingled my hands continued to work.
"Trust me," I breathed once our faces finally parted. The white masculine shirt fell to the ground. And there she was, bared to only me. My hands explored the long lines across her back as I counted all the more recent nicks and marks that speckled her chest. Wounds no doubt developed from her journeys and adventures. Exposed now were her lavish curves, previously understated by her clothes. "You're stunning."
Her eyes gentle opened and a single tear ran from one of them. I brushed it away as she quickly kissed the tip of my nose. With that, she led me to the door. "Come back again tonight," she blurted as I left. As she shut the door behind me once I was back in the hallway of the castle, I couldn't stop myself from beaming.
Serephina
"Push yourself. Focus on your breath." I stood back, arms folded across my chest, supervising every move that she made. I paced a little as her face wound up in both concentration and frustration. She sucked in a deep breath and stared at her open palms. Her eyes were wide and frozen in place, never straying. Elsa was so deep in concentration that her hands began to shake from the effort. "Easy, just breathe… You've got this."
Those sweet, full lips formed a tight, straight line as her brow began to quiver. Too fast for me to affect the situation, she threw her hands down to her sides. Each pulled from the air as the moved, long, sharp spikes of ice. A dozen or so, and each barb was at least three feet long. I was definitely glad I had brought her back out to the clearing in the woods. If we were still on the castle grounds I think the gardener would have quit. Light snow began to fall as I heard sobs rack through her body.
I quickly summoned fire. A calm heat surrounded me as I melted down the ring of thorns around the queen. Finally breaking through, I dropped to my knees to her level. She cried into the frost covered dirt. Gently I laid my hand on her back, but pulled it back almost immediately. Elsa was far too cold now. With horror, we both realized I couldn't touch her.
"I'm sorry," she blubbered as I could only sit by. I stared down at my hand that had become painted with white in a crystallized burn. She looked over at it too. It was my own fault; I shouldn't have touched an ice elemental when she was so worked up. When you are properly trained, you learn who the opposite powers are that you can do the most harm to, even by accident. Naturally, ice and fire were one of the opposites.
"Hey, I'm fine… see, it's already fading." She looked over again to see my skin return to normal.
Elsa's face lightened. The snow stopped falling, and I watched the physical changes of her body as she relaxed. A natural rosiness returned to her face, her hair shifted from white to back to a blonder shade, and her eyes returned back to deep blue instead of a more icy color. I raised a hand to rush the tears on her face.
She flinched away, "No, I don't want to hurt you."
My face pulled into a warm grin. I connected my hand with her skin and felt little discomfort in its coolness. There would always be some irritation when I touched her. It would be manly one ended so it was definitely worth it. Even last night, in the heat of being together, her touch would unintentionally spark pain. "There's nothing you could possibly do that would hurt me enough to keep me away."
I closed the distance between our mouths in an encouraging kiss. The action burned slightly, but if it could make her smile, it was worth it. And sure enough, when I broke away, she did. "I just don't know if I can do this. It's like I need to get angry or sad or just overly emotional just to make a snowball. I don't think I'll ever master it like you."
"Well of course you won't master it like me. We are opposite elements. Don't give up though; you can break this tie between your powers and your emotions. It just might take time to find the right source to base yourself from." Her only response was to lean back into my shoulder with a heavy sigh. My arm wrapped across her chest and I held her loosely.
"Can we just relax for the rest of the time we are here? I've been at it for awhile now."
"Of course, my queen. But we may have to return soon. I'm sure your sister and guests will want you back for dinner." I whispered into her ear.
"No… I don't want to go back. I was cooped up all afternoon discussing deals and trade." She said, flinging her hands into the ground, pouting. Her sudden childishness made me laugh. I kissed her temple at the rare behavior, enjoying the innocence of it. "Where did you even disappear to today while I was busy? All the staff said you just vanished."
"I went out to Oaken's to visit Epona, took her out for a bit, made sure she was cared for. Then I just explored for a little while. I came back right around when you were done. Perfect timing if I say so myself." I rolled back down into the grass, all the ice and frost long gone. Elsa fell with me, propping her face up on one arm while her long braid swung down across the swells of her breasts. The dress she wore today was this light green-blue color. Narrow straps hung just off her shoulders, leaving them bare. A simply pattern in crystals led to where the dress fanned out at her feet.
"Why are you staring at me like that?" she teased, meeting my eyes.
Embarrassed, I began to stare at the blades of grass between us. "You're just so impossibly beautiful."
She reached a hand to lift my chin. The way she just laid there, with such a natural elegance to her, it was impossible to believe she belonged anywhere else but on a throne. I knew without a doubt she ruled my heart. So feminine and graceful, everything she did pulled me in further. "Don't pretend that you're not, Serephina. So strong, yet gentle, brave enough to take on the world, you're my hero."
"How did you do it?" I whispered.
"Do what?" she laughed naively.
"Make me fall in love with you in a matter of days." She dropped her face into the grass, the most amazing of smiles lighting her soft face. My hands were folded behind my head when she decided to roll over. Her hands once again took their place alongside my neck. The sun cast the most beautiful halo around her as she looked down upon me. Her thumbs trailed the corners of my mouth and my cheekbones as if trying to memorize every change in texture.
"I love you too," she whispered in a barely audible voice. I had heard those words before, but from her they sounded so different. Maybe this time I could be in love for once and it would work out. With this girl, it was as easy as breathing to be by her side. In my mind I could see myself leading her to the far corners of the world where her heart yearned to go.
"We need to return soon, your highness."
"Are you sure? I don't want this to end." She laid her head onto my rising and falling chest.
"It never will."
"You promise?"
I pulled my hands free so they could lock around her. That is where they felt the most right. My mind told me that there may be a day where she couldn't do this or one of us would be lost to the world. I hoped that day was far away. Far enough where I could make this oath without the fear of breaking it.
As long as I drew breath, that day would not come. The clouds drew amazing images against the blue sky as I made my vow. Nothing would take this woman from me against her will and her will alone. "I swear it."
