The day had finally come. The Christmas holidays were here. Hermione and Ginny had just bid farewell to all of their friends and were now on the search for Ron and Harry whom said would pick them up. King's Cross was filled to the brim with travelers, so the girls had to try hard to stay together and not get lost. They made it all the way out to the parking lot and still no sign of the boys.

"Ginny…what if they've forgotten us? I'm getting worried." Hermione told her.

Ginny was standing arms crossed, tapping her foot loudly. "Merlin. It's just like them to be late. You'd think after all these months…well, I suppose we could apparate." She said. But, just as the two girls joined hands, both of them were swept off of their feet, each into a deep kiss. When they could focus, both saw that Ron and Harry had indeed arrived.

"Harry!"

"Ron!"

Ginny and Hermione were ecstatic. Neither could let go of their boyfriend. Once the excitement died down, and everyone's trunks had been collected, they all four stopped and rested for a few minutes at a nearby coffee shop.

"So," Harry began, as he sipped his coffee. "I bet your were getting heated with us, but I swear we got here on time. It's just that it was so crowded we decided to surprise you when you came outside." He smiled at Ginny who reciprocated the action.

"We were only worried for a moment." Hermione assured him. Ron hadn't stopped staring at her since they were reunited. He held her hand and stroked it softly.

"And even if you hadn't have shown up, we can handle ourselves." Ginny said with a wink.

"Of course. But having big brother help you out is always fun, right Gin?" Ron smirked.

They sat and talked for almost an hour. Finally, Harry suggested that they return to the burrow.

"Oh…um well, I was going to take my things home and be with my parents for a bit. If that's okay." Hermione told them, sounding slightly guilty.

"Oh! Of course. No, go ahead, it just slipped my mind. We'll meet up at the burrow tomorrow." Harry told her with a smile.

"And I think I'm going to go with her." Ron said matter-of-factly. This surprised Hermione but also made her so happy.

"That's that then. See you tomorrow, Hermione!" Ginny waved just as her and Harry apparated away.

Hermione turned to Ron. "You're coming with me?"

"If you don't mind." He smiled and took her hand. "I thought we could do it your way and take a taxi to your house. I have to see that you make it alright, don't I?" Suddenly he whistled and a taxi pulled up next to the curb. He opened the side door and said, "Ladies first." They both settled into the cab.

"Since when have you gotten so good at muggle transportation?" Hermione asked him playfully.

"Oh, you'll be happy to know I've brushed up on a lot over the past few months when it comes to muggle ways."

"But why?"

"Well, for you of course. I mean, we're together. That means I have to know as much about your world as you do mine. I can't expect you to always be within the magical world. I understand sometimes you're going to want to come back to where you grew up, and I want to love it as much as you do. I did it for you." Ron told her, stoking back her hair and grinning. When he did this, Hermione couldn't take being modest anymore. He was driving her mad, but in a good way. She had missed him so much. All at once, she grabbed onto his face and kissed like there was no tomorrow. It didn't even catch Ron off guard because he wanted it just as bad as she. Their lips were warm and soothing. Neither cared that there was a cab driver sitting right up front. Hermione couldn't stop herself but she needed air.

"Ron…I missed you." She whispered in between softly kissing him on the temple.

"You have no idea." Ron replied immediately.

For the rest of the ride, they simply held each other. No one could know how happy both of them felt in that very moment. Finally, they reached Hermione's house. Both of her parent's vehicles were in the driveway. Ron gathered all of Hermione's belongings and carried them to the door for her. They stood at the porch.

"Well…I really do hate to cut this short, Ron but-"

"Who says we have to cut this short?" He smiled.

"Oh, I know it's just that I promised my parents that I would come see them first." Ron just continued to grin and hugged her tightly.

"It's understandable. Now, get on up to your room…I think something is waiting for you. I'll see you in an hour." He winked as he disapparated right in front of her eyes.

Hermione couldn't really process what had just occurred. See me in an hour? What did that mean? She continued to ponder as she entered her house but didn't have much time to. Her parents attacked her with glee. Hugs and kisses from all over. She couldn't be happier.

"Mum! Dad! Oh, I've missed you so much!"

"Dear we miss you more every day!" Her mother said grinning from ear to ear.

"She's right sweetness; it's far too quiet around here when you're at school." Her father side hugged her tight.

"I've got so much to tell you both! It's been quite an interesting first half of the year. See, first of all-"

Her mother laughed. "Hermione, darling, you have all holiday to fill us in. You have more important matters to attend to."

"More important matters?"

"Well, sure!" Her father told her.

"Go check up in your room, won't you?" Her mother practically pushed her up the stairs.

Again with my room? Something is going on here.

Nevertheless, Hermione obediently went up to her room. At first when she walked in, nothing seemed out of the ordinary. Of course, then she saw it. Spread across her bed was a gorgeous deep purple dress, accompanied by a brand new sweater, and heels; all of which matched her dress. She couldn't believe her eyes. As she got closer to her bed, she also saw a small note next to her new things.

Thought this would look to die for on you.

The perfect outfit for the perfect evening on the town.

Hurry and get dressed, I'll see you in an hour.

Xx Ron

Hermione squealed with happiness. Was this really happening? Things like this only happened in fairytales. The dress really was to die for. Beautiful. She got ready as quickly as she could. The thoughts and curiosity of what Ron could be planning dominated her brain.

Just like clockwork, Hermione came gracefully down the stairs at the exact time she was requested. She looked absolutely stunning in her new clothing. Her mother and father just stared at her, so proud like. She noticed them and her cheeks became slightly pink.

"What?" She whined.

"You just look terrific, dear." Her mother told her with a huge grin plastered on her face.

"Right, right. So can you please tell me what's going on now?" Hermione pleaded. As soon as those words escaped her lips, there was a light, "Knock, knock" on her door. She turned quickly and then looked at her father puzzled. "Were you expecting someone?"

"Why don't you go check?" Her father gestured toward the door. Hermione humored him and walked to let whoever it was, in. She turned the knob, opened it, and suddenly she was speechless. Outside in her driveway, Ron was standing. He was dressed in a newly tailored suit and coat with a bowtie that matched Hermione's new dress. In his hand looked to be a freshly picked orchid (which Hermione absolutely loved), and surprising of all, parked on the street behind him was a magnificent limo. Hermione literally couldn't think of a word to say as Ron approached her. When he stood directly in front of her, he smiled and spoke.

"Never seen you so speechless…hopefully it's a good sign." He laughed.

"Ron…you…you…I…"
"I though you could use a night out on the town. Dinner sound good? Here, I got this for you." He handed her the orchid. She couldn't help but jump and hug him tightly.

"Oh, Ron…I can't believe you did all this! It's all amazing but you didn't have to."

He took her arm. "I know. I wanted to. You deserve this and so much more. Shall we go?"

She agreed happily. They got settled in the limo and were off.

IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII

After only a few minutes of driving, they came to a halt. They had arrived at the most magnificent, most expensive, and most sought after restaurant in town. It was French cuisine. Hermione had always wanted to go. Hand in hand they approached the entrance.

"Ron, this is mad….wow…I mean you really don-"

"Hermione," He laughed again. "Listen, I know I don't have to. And I know I normally don't do things like this but I just want to. You deserve the best of everything. And I wanted tonight to be a special night for us seeing as we don't get to have many. Now come on, I know you're excited. Let's go in."

And that they did.

IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII

After they enjoyed their delicious meal, and even danced a little, they made their way back to Hermione's home. It was a peaceful drive. Neither of them could stop talking to the other. It got rather chilly at one point so Ron gave Hermione his coat and asked the driver if he could turn up the heater.

Hermione laid her head on Ron's shoulder, and he wrapped his arm around her.

"Ron…I really can't even thank you for tonight. It was truly wonderful. You'll never know how much I missed you."

"I believe it. Because I missed you, and thought about you all the time. Everyday. As for tonight, no need to thank me. This was a night for us, and it was amazing." He pecked her on the lips. As his skin touched hers, she felt as if lightening was shooting all throughout her. She looked up at him blankly.

"Hermione, Hermione what is it?"

"I love you."

"I kno-"

"I...really…love you." She leaned towards him, grabbed his face, and began to kiss softly but passionately. He had no rejection. She started to kiss deeper, and deeper while rubbing her hands through his hair. He had one hand smoothing back her hair, and the other was cupping her back. The faint taste of her strawberry lip gloss wanted to drive him crazy. He moved with a purpose every second, massaging her lips with his. When she began to slightly tug on his lower lip, he couldn't take it slow any longer. And neither could she. They were kissing furiously now.

Hermione had to finally come up for air. She grabbed both sides of his face. "Ron Weasley, I'm crazy for you."

"Hermione no one could want you more than me." He let his gaze down to focus on her neck now, placing a kiss every couple of inches. His breath on her neck made shivers shoot up her spine. Her heartbeat quickened.

Finally, something made them both stop, and looked at each other.

"Hermione..."

"Ron…I-"

"HERE'S YOUR STOP!" The limo driver called from way up in front.

They both cringed at the interruption.

Nevertheless, Hermione smiled. "I suppose this is where I get off."
