Dante POV

"I'm going to cover your entire body in warm, slowly melting buttercream frosting and lick you until you're so clean you'll sparkle like the Cullinan diamond under a spotlight." I groaned and rolled over, pulling my pillow over my head and trying to block her voice.

No luck.

In the short week since I'd had breakfast with team FATE, Spectra had upped her game with the bedtime seduction attempts.

Her soft, teasing whisper seemed to slither effortlessly past any and all defenses I put between us, mental or physical, to deliver promises so lewd that they would make a coma patient blush. The worst part was that I seemed to be the only one capable of hearing her.

"Or like Edward Cullen under sunlight." She continued and I groaned louder. Twilight references too? This night will never end.

"You look like shit." Rachel observed as she lounged on her bed. I scowled at her.

"Shut the hell up. I couldn't fucking sleep." Spectra's voice chuckled in my ear and I could almost feel her breath on my neck.

"You should get used to it, darling, you won't be sleeping much once you're mine either." Heat rose to my face and I snapped at her.

"You shut up too!" Kaitlyn eyed me warily.

"You okay, boss?" I raked my fingers roughly through my hair, biting down hard on my lip to keep internalized the string of expletives that wanted so desperately to burst from my mouth.

A frustrating pressure built up in my stomach, flooding into my chest and flushing my face with angry heat. I flinched when a tender hand alighted gently on my shoulder.

"Hey," Akari squeezed my shoulder gently. "You okay, D?" I smiled gratefully at her as the pressure lessened, and patted her hand.

"I'll be fine." I managed. "Just tired is all." She applied a bit of pressure to my shoulder and, exhausted as I was, I collapsed back onto my bed like a ill-balanced house of cards. Her eyes widened.

"Take off your uniform." Rachel and Kaitlyn shifted aimlessly so Akari sent them to the cafeteria for food.

I groaned and started to sit up, but she pushed me back down and hooked her fingers in the waistband of my skirt, red splotches appearing on her cheeks. "Lift your hips."

I thought about making a dirty joke, but seeing her flushed face and having had sexual harassment oozed into my ears all night, every night for a week, I restrained myself and did as I was told.

Once I was undressed to her satisfaction, she pulled my blanket up to my chin and sat next to me. When Kaitlyn and Rachel arrived with a heaping tray of food, she checked the time and sighed.

"Get some sleep and I'll pick up your ACT work from Mr. Thorn. Make absolutely sure you eat when you wake up, okay?" I nodded dutifully and she smiled. "Good night." She brushed my bangs back and I pouted at her.

"Geez, Kar, I'm not a kid. You don't have to-"

"Good night, Dante." I heaved a melodramatic sigh and rolled over, closing my eyes.

"Fine, good night."

Amber POV

I wandered slowly down the hallway, eyeing the room numbers intently as I passed each doorway.

201...203...205...207...201?! What the heck? Where's 204? I thought, mentally screaming in annoyance.

"Where are all the evens?" I muttered, glancing down at the map and schedule in my right hand. A minute later, I was back where I started.

Hot tears of frustration brimmed in my eyes and I turned around, ready to give up and go back to the office building, when slim fingers wrapped firmly around my upper arm and I was pulled gently aside.

I leaped away and whirled around, coming face-to-chin with Esther Caligo. She looked like she was unsure whether to be amused or worried.

"Do you know where you're going?" I blinked up at her twice.

"Uh..." She tilted her head.

"This is the third time you passed the room, you know." I opened my mouth, but nothing came out. The relief crowding up my chest and throat stole my breath.

Cali squinted at me and it was then I heard the soft snickers and mocking laughter from the classroom. Cali glanced over her shoulder, annoyance flashing across her face, before leaning against the doorway, blocking their view of me. I thought my heart would explode in a shower of gratitude right then.

"You okay? Where ya headed?" I held out my paper wordlessly and she glanced over it before snorting and pointing upward.

I followed her direction up to the number plate just above the doorway.

204.

Son of a biscuit.

My face flushed hotly and I couldn't meet Cali's gaze.

"Oh. Th-thanks." She gave a tiny smile of sympathy.

"I cried my first time." I gaped at her. What an intimate thing to share with a near stranger. She patted my shoulder and steered me into the classroom toward a couple of free seats near the middle, then retrieved her supplies from a seat near the bottom front.

"Welcome to Grimm Anatomy I."

As we left the classroom, Cali's scroll chirped and she fished it out of her pocket, opening it expertly with a flick of her wrist.

She scanned the message and frowned.

"What's wrong?" She looked over at me and I was suddenly afraid I'd intruded in something personal, and she was about to yell at me, but she simply sighed.

"Dante didn't go to class." My brow furrowed.

"Why not?" I was a lot more worried than I'd have expected myself to be, but I kind of liked Dante, so I guess I shouldn't have been so surprised.

"She didn't sleep last night." Something she'd said last week came back to me.

"Spectra?" Cali shrugged.

"I'm about to go see." She gave me a small smile. "Wanna come with?" I blinked, startled by the invitation.

"Oh! Uh, sure." She leaned toward me and peered at my schedule.

"What do you have next?" I trailed a finger down to period 2.

"Uh...Physical Fitness." Cali appraised me briefly.

"You look physically fit enough." The traitorous blood vessels in my face stained my cheeks red and I shrugged.

"O-okay."

Dante POV

"Hey Daaaante~!" Rachel sang as she bounded into the room, a plastic container in one hand. "I brought you a cuuuupcaaaake~!" I smiled at her.

"Thanks Rae. I appreciate it." She flounced over to my bed, her skirt swishing around her knees, and presented then box with a flourish.

"It's white chocolate with buttercream frosting, enjoy!" The blood drained from my face as her words sank in.

"Buttercream...Frosting?" She nodded, and I practically trampled her in my haste to get to the bathroom, where I proceeded to throw up repeatedly.

"Geez," She huffed. "You coulda just said no."

Whew! Another one down. My muse is officially back. Time for sleep now. Fortunately (or unfortunately?) for me, I won't have sexually suggestive shadow women whispering to me all night. Good night fanfiction.

TWAD #11 and 12: Grace shares my bed, so now I have an adorable life sized teddy bear. X3 Also, the Cullinan diamond is the largest gem-quality diamond ever found, at a whopping 3106.75 carats.
