3 months later

"Hap, wake up!" I shoved at his shoulder and hurried back into my closet to grab a t-shirt. Happy groaned and rolled over to his back as he scratched at the stubble on his face.

"Katerina, what time is it?" Happy mumbled with his eyes on me. I threw a shirt at him and watched as he caught it just before it hit his face.

"It doesn't matter! Lauren is going in to labor. You need to get your ass on your bike and find Chibs because he's not answering his damn phone. I'll kill him if he misses this." I snapped as I grabbed my keys off the nightstand. Happy caught me by the arm and kissed my neck.

"I love your accent, baby. Drive safe." Happy smacked my ass playfully before pulling his shirt over his head and climbed out of bed. I gave him a smile and headed out to my car.

"Your kid is on its way." I said as Chibs looked up at me. He was sitting on the couch with a bottle of Jameson and a cigarette in his mouth.

"She doesn't want me there, Hap. Said if we weren't married by tha time tha baby came she didn't want me around." Chibs slurred before taking a swig from the bottle. I rolled my eyes and grabbed the bottle away from him.

"Glad I brought the truck. Let's go." I turned my back on him and headed towards the door slowly. Eventually, I heard him climb off the couch and follow behind me.

"She'll kill me for showin' up, brotha." Chibs was leaned against the door as I backed out of the parking spot. My phone started vibrating against my chest as I flew down Main Street.

"Happy, if you don't get his Scottish ass here in the next five minutes you can consider yourself cut off for the next month." Katerina said before I could even say hello. I groaned and shook my head as I turned the wheel quickly.

"Katerina, I'm working on it. What room is she in?" I asked as I swerved around a turning car. Chibs was giving me angry looks as he gripped on to the handle on the dash.

"135. Be careful, baby." The line disconnected as I pulled into St. Thomas. Chibs shook his head and sighed as I cut the engine.

"Get your ass out of the truck, brother. Your drunk ass isn't costing me a month of my old lady. I shoved him through the door and nodded at Jax who was sitting in the waiting room to show us down to Lauren's room.

"Jesus Christ, Chibs. We got any more liquor in the clubhouse?" Jax asked as he looked back at the soon to be father of two. He nodded and pulled out a flask from his jacket pocket. I shook my head and grabbed it from him.

"Not a minute to spare, Lowman." Katerina kissed me quickly as Jax shoved Chibs into Lauren's room. I took a look at what Katerina was wearing and laughed.

"You're something else, woman." I pulled her to my side and shook my head at the leather tights she hand on underneath my SAMCRO shirt. She shrugged and looked through the window at her best friend.

"That's goin ta be you in a few months, Shelia." Kiara's unmistakable voice said from behind us. I looked from Katerina to Lauren and shook my head. Lauren was yelling and her face was red and covered in tears.

"Thanks, Kiara." I growled as Katerina laughed. Juice smirked and nudged me with his elbow. I raised my brow at him as he nodded down the hallway. Katerina caught on and dropped her arms from me as Juice headed off.

"I need your advice, Hap. I think I fucked up." Juice said as he glanced back at the blondes walking into Laruen's room. I stuck a fresh toothpick between my teeth and raised my brow at him.

"What'd you do, kid?" I didn't want to know but it was obvious that Juice was flipping out on the inside.

"I bought this." He shoved his hand into his pants pocket and pulled out a ring with a trio of black diamonds on a white gold loop. I shook my head and smirked.

"I was worried I'd have to kill you for hurting my little sister. What are you flipping out about, Juicy?" I flinched at the shrill scream coming from down the hall. Juice shook his head and put the ring back in his pocket. "If you want to ask her then ask. If not just pawn the ring or something."

"Happy!" Katerina was smiling brightly as she threw her arms around my neck. I could hear the cries of a baby and figured that's what all the screaming had been about. I kissed her forehead and rubbed my hand over her lower back.

"Katerina. She okay?" I asked as the doctors carried the new baby out past us. Katerina nodded and smiled brightly.

"She's good. They have a son now. I thought Chibs was going to pass out." Katerina said with a laugh as I looked up and saw my brother smiling and sitting on the bed with Lauren.

"It was probably the fifth of Jameson. You need to eat something, babe." She rolled her eyes and pulled out a silver pack of poptarts. She'd started eating them like they were going out of style the past couple of weeks, even though I told her they weren't actually food.

"They're grape, baby. It's fruit." She said with a shrug as she offered me a tiny corner piece. I laughed and shook my head. Kiara took it instead and kissed her sister on the cheek.

"I'm so not stepping in the room when you pop my niece out." She said as she chewed on the pastry. I raised my brow and looked over at Katerina. She laughed and shook her head with a smile.

"She's convinced it's a girl. I told you I refuse to find out without you, Hap." I nodded and traced my fingers over her barely there stomach. She was convinced she was getting huge, but she hadn't even gone up a pants size, despite the boxes of poptarts she went through.

"I know, babe. You have an appointment tomorrow. I'll be there." She just nodded and gave me a tight smile. It was the third appointment I'd promised to be at and so far I'd only made it to the first one three months ago. I forced a smile and nodded.

"Hap, where's Jax?" Clay said as he walked up for the first time tonight. I shook my head and loosened my hold on Katerina. She wasn't exactly a fan of Clay's and tried to keep her distance from him whenever possible.

"Went off with Tara a few minutes ago." I could tell Clay had something on his mind and only hoped it didn't have anything to do with a run before tomorrow night. I was planning something for Katerina to try and make up for being gone so much since we got married.

"Let's just go ahead and get started, Tara. I didn't really expect him to be here." I said as I tossed the parenting magazine on the table and stood up. Tara frowned and wrapped her arm around my shoulders as we headed down towards an examination room. My phone vibrated against my leg, but I wasn't in the mood to answer it.

"You sure you don't want to go ahead and find out the gender? You could just tell him in a sweet way." Tara suggested as I pulled my jeans off. I shook my head and hopped up on the table.

"No way, Tara. I'm not about to take that away from him." I looked away as she started the examination. I was comfortable with Tara, but it was still awkward to know how well acquainted she was with my vagina. There was a knock at the door and Tara rolled away and covered me with a sheet.

"Move." I recognized my husband's raspy voice and felt happy tears start rolling down my cheeks. Carlee, the nurse that Tara had assigned to my case blocked the door with her arm. Tara shook her head and waved Happy in.

"Carlee, don't try to stop him again. He's the baby's father and Katerina's husband." Tara walked over to the ultrasound machine in the corner. Happy took his hand off the hilt of the knife on his belt and brushed past the nurse. I immediately realized why Carlee had tried to stop him.

"Whose blood?" I whispered in his ear as he bent down to kiss me. He shook his head after giving me a deep kiss. Carlee eyed us suspiciously before leaving and closing the door behind her.

"Not mine, Kat." He pulled his kutte together and buttoned it closed to cover the blood soaked t-shirt. I pursed my lips and shook my head as Tara prepped me for my ultrasound. Happy laced his fingers in with mine and stared at the screen.

"Look at its tiny hands, baby!" I pointed at the screen and looked over at Happy. He was smiling and nodding as Tara moved the probe around. I bit my lip with anticipation.

"Happy, Katerina, you two need to start picking out bows and dresses." Tara said with a smile as she looked over at us. I giggled and nodded as Happy squeezed my hand.

"Nah, I need another gun." Happy said with a laugh as I caught his eyes filling with tears. I pulled on his hand and he looked over at me with a warm smile. He leaned down and kissed me softly before his phone started ringing.

"It's okay, Hap. You were here." I said as he pulled the phone out and frowned at it. He shook his head and flipped it open.

"Yeah? I'm busy." Happy said as he brushed my hair out of my face. A couple minutes later, he snapped the phone shut and sat down in the chair by the table.

"You don't have to go?" I asked with a bright smile. He shook his head and gave me a quick grin before Tara cleaned my stomach off. She gave Happy a quick look before giving him a few prints of the ultrasound and leaving the room.

"Some shit went down earlier, Kat. We're all whole but things have changed, a lot. Jax is at the head of the table now and we're in deep with some big players. Things might get worse before they get any better." Happy said as he rubbed his palm over my stomach. I took a beat and let his words sink in.

"We're family, baby. Whatever happens, I'm going to be here for you. No matter what, Hap." He nodded and kissed my hand before leading me out of the room. Jax was standing in the hall with Tara and it seemed she wasn't handling the news quite like I had expected.

"She can wait, Katerina. We're going out." Happy growled into my ear as he walked behind me with his arms around my shoulders. I looked back at him and smiled. He was obviously putting in a lot of effort, so I had to put my concern for Tara on the back burner for a while.

"I'll meet you back at the house, baby" He nodded in agreement and gave me a quick kiss before heading over to his bike. I lowered my self down into my 350z carefully and frowned. I was barely showing and it was already hard to get in and out of my car. It was obvious that I would have to get something else soon, but I hated thinking about giving my car up.

"Happy! Where are we going?" I asked with a laugh as he covered my eyes with his hand. He kissed the curve of my neck and carefully led me inside our house. I smelled something wonderful as soon as the front door opened.

"I thought you might want to stay in so you don't have to get dressed up or anything, babe. You're beautiful and I don't want you stressing out over going to some restaurant that charges too much." Happy said as he slid his hand away and revealed a set table complete with burning candles and a bouquet of roses.

"I love you, Happy." I turned around and kissed him deeply as his hands roamed over my t-shirt and down to my ass. I heard someone clear their throat and broke the kiss quickly. Bobby was standing beside the table with a large tray. I blushed deeply as Happy laughed.

"Thanks, brother." Happy said as he clapped Bobby on the back of his leather kutte. Bobby nodded and kissed Happy's cheek.

"No problem, Hap. You two have a good night." He winked over at me before giving me a quick peck on the cheek and leaving. I laughed and sat down in the chair Happy had pulled out for me.

"Your Ma's hours and hours of trying to teach you manners actually paid off, huh?" Happy laughed and nodded as he headed down the hall. A few minutes later, he reemerged from our bedroom with a fresh shirt on.

"Kiara said this was your favorite." Happy explained as he pulled the lid off the tray to reveal lamb chops with red potatoes and carrots. I laughed and nodded as he eyed it suspiciously.

"It is, Hap. You'll like it, I promise." He shrugged took a roll out of a basket as I helped myself to what smelled like perfectly cooked lamb. He was more relaxed than I had seen him since we found out I was still pregnant.
