Beyond The Walls

This is a story about forbidden like/love and what happens when rules are broken. From the Sons, would you expect anything less? This story is starts during the time the Sons are serving their 14 month sentence. I don't want to give too much away during the summary so just take a look at Chapter One and see if you are interested :) I own nothing of SOA, only my OC's :)

37. Inside

I sat down at the table and listened to the quiet around me. Three hours ago, the world shifted on its axis and everything turned to shit. We'd come back from Australia and not six months later, Happy was arrested again. This time, he went in with Chibs, Juice, Jax and Tig.

"They're lucky the judge didn't put them away for good. I know that is Happy and Jax's third strike." Lohen said as she looked around at the table of Ol' ladies. I twisted my mouth and tried to consider us lucky that he only got five years. The five of them had been found guilty of an armed burglary that they didn't even do. The truth was ten times worse though, so they took the charge like bitter medicine. My chest tightened and I shook my head with a sob.

Almost the whole club would be inside for half a decade. Several nomads had transferred over to Redwood once news that they were going inside broke, but the numbers were still disturbingly low. Bobby was acting president in the absence of the other members and I hated to think how stressful that was going to be on him.

If it wasn't for Kiara, I would consider moving down to Bakersfield until Happy got out. She had Freya on her lap and her head on my shoulder as we all just sat around processing what this meant for our family. Tara gave me a sad smile as Freya offered me Happy's reaper ring.

"What we need is a few rounds of tequila." Gemma said as she put a tray of just that on the table. I bit my bottom lip and shook my head slowly. The table fell into an even deeper silence.

"By the way, I'm pregnant." I said as I hitched my shoulder. Tara nodded, happy that I had decided to tell them sooner rather than later. She'd told me how important it was to have their support now that Happy was away for a while. I ran my free hand over my stomach as Freya held on to my thumb.

Okay, here's the deal. This part of the fic was getting a little drawn out for me, so I've decided to cut it off and take a little time before starting on PART 2. I need to finish up some of the other stories I have going so I can stop spreading myself so thin between this story and some of the others I have going. I am passionate about this story though, so don't worry I won't break from it long. Just give me a couple weeks and I'll update with PART 2 (which will be set 5 years after this chapter and completely off show script).
