Farewell

As I pulled on my black, lace dress, I felt guilty for looking forward to seeing Happy. Freya was sitting on our bed, pulling at her own dress and making faces of disgust. She was going through a phase of not wanting to wear dresses but had finally agreed since Happy had asked her to wear one. Ollie was playing with his fire truck quietly, unsure of what exactly we were getting dressed up for.

I took a deep breath and started pulling my hair back into a high bun. Mayhem stood up quickly as Harley picked his head up, turning his ears towards the noise I was yet to be able to hear. I stepped into my black heels and walked out towards the front door. Harley followed right behind me as Mayhem sat in the hallway, just in case.

"Hey baby," Happy pulled me into his arms and put his forehead on top of my hair. I ignored the officer that was standing behind him and ran my hands up and down his chest, too relieved to believe he was actually standing in our living room.

"Lowman, any infraction of the rules and you're facing an additional six months at least. I don't think that pretty little thing would like that too much." At the mention of me, Happy tensed and Harley picked up on it. He started growling and flashing his teeth. Mayhem ran ahead of Freya as she appeared from the hallway.

"Daddy!" She didn't waist any time running full speed to his outstretched arms. I took a moment to smile at them before turning my attention to the officer. Happy had told me about him, of course, but it surprised me when he was so stupid as to talk about me with Happy out of cuffs.

"We're clear on the rules, Denton. I'm going to have to ask you to leave before you're seen as any more of an intruder." I kicked the door shut and Harley quieted automatically. Happy smiled at me and pulled me over to him with the arm that wasn't holding Freya.

"Ollie! Daddy's home!" Freya yelled loudly, causing both Happy and I to pull back from the assault on our ears. I bit my lip and looked up at Happy, unsure of how well Freya understood that he wasn't home for good yet.

"Hey buddy." Happy said as Ollie walked into the living room. He smiled hesitantly and looked at me before walking any closer to Happy. I could tell it was bothering Happy that Ollie reacted the same way he did at visitation, but this was all new to him. It was strange that Freya handled it so well.

"Ollie, it's okay." I said as Happy put Freya down and looked over at his son. He wasn't used to interacting with Ollie and expected both of his kids to be like Freya.

He finally made his way over to Happy and reached out to be picked up. I smiled and rubbed my hand over Happy's back as he smiled a little. Ollie hid his face over Happy's shoulder but it was progress. In his two and a half years on this earth, he had only spent about twenty hours with Happy and that was in the confines of visitation.

"Kiara is on her way to pick them up and they're going to meet us at the gravesite." I said as Happy scooped Freya up in his right arm. He nodded and gave me a little wink. I giggled and shook my head, knowing exactly what he was thinking.

"Daddy, I'm sorry about abuelita." Freya said with a frown. Happy's dark eyes softened as he nodded and kissed her forehead. He hadn't taken the news about Mariah passing very well, according to Juice.

"Me too, mija. She wouldn't want you to be sad though. We're supposed to be happy she isn't hurting and celebrate the time we had with her." I was honestly a little shocked to hear him say that. Happy had never been overly devout in his Catholicism like Mariah had been. It showed how much he missed her to pass that way of thinking on to Freya and Ollie.

"Hey, Hap. Good to see you." Kiara said as she walked inside and gave Happy a hug. She was dressed in a navy blue, knee length dress and bone colored heels. Happy nodded and hugged her briefly. Freya shook her head and clung on to Happy's neck.

"I want to stay with Daddy!" Freya pouted loudly. Happy kissed her forehead and peeled her off of him. Her bottom lip started quivering and he shook his head.

"It's just for a couple hours, mija. We can go get ice cream later and I'll be here to tuck you into bed. Don't give Kiara a hard time." He gave her a serious look and she huffed but nodded, taking Kiara's hand. Ollie gave Happy a kiss on the cheek before he passed him over to Kiara.

Kiara gave us a wink as she headed out to her car. I felt bad that Juice couldn't be here when Happy was, but the circumstances weren't exactly something to hope for. Happy waited until the door was completely closed and Kiara was backing out of the driveway before picking me up and throwing me over his shoulder. I giggled and smacked his ass.

"Happy! I just got done getting dressed and everything. Don't mess my hair up!" I couldn't keep a serious tone to save my life. Having him home was like a breath of fresh air. He tossed me on the bed and kicked his boots off as he crawled over me.

"You're so fucking beautiful, Katerina." He kissed me gently at first. Then, he gradually deepened and hardened the kiss. His muscles rippled under the plain white t-shirt he was wearing. I didn't even try to contain the moan that fell from my lips as I ran my hands over his stomach.

"God, I miss you." I said in staccato breaths. His mouth moved down to my neck and the scraping of his teeth over my veins had me nearing the edge before he even had my panties off.

"I miss you too, Kat. You're so ready, baby." He slid his fingers between my folds and bit on his perfect bottom lip as he stared into my eyes. I whimpered and pushed my hips up towards him. He smirked and tossed my underwear into the floor.

"Please, Happy." I moaned after a few minutes of his hands exploring my naked body. He'd done away with every bit of clothing I was wearing while only letting me take his shirt off. His tongue flicked my throbbing nub and it did me in. Forgetting all about my hair, I arched my back and craned my neck as my orgasm consumed me.

"Good girl. You taste like heaven, Katerina." He flicked his tongue over my center one more time before throwing his jeans and boxers down. He pressed a hand onto my stomach to keep me still as he slid into me at an antagonizing speed. He rolled his head back and growled as I raked my nails down his back.

"I love you, Katerina." He kissed me softly and slid his tongue into my mouth as he continued at the slow pace. I knew he was trying to make it last as long as possible, but I wanted him to remember what he was coming home to. I tightened my muscles around his shaft and he moaned almost instantly.

"Take me, Happy. I'm yours." I whispered into his ear before biting it gently. He seemed to switch gears effortlessly and slammed into me hard enough to push me back a couple inches. I pulled his head down towards me and kept my lips just outside of his reach, teasing him as he slammed into me. My fingers gripped the back of his neck and he wrapped an arm under my ass, lifting me up just enough to hit the spot only he was ever able to find.

"Jesus Christ, Katerina." I had tightened around him one more time before we both dove headfirst into toxic bliss. The ecstasy had me struggling to breathe as Happy kissed me deep and slow. He rocked his hips a couple more times to finish riding out the wave before he pulled out and led me to the shower.

"Wasn't your hair up?" Kiara asked as she sat down next to me. Happy smirked from the other side of me. I blushed a little and nodded as I kissed Ollie's dark hair. Freya was sitting like a perfect little lady on the other side of her father, who she had allowed to borrow his own reaper ring for the day.

"Would anyone like to say a few words?" The father asked after finishing the prayers and scripture. Happy surprised me by standing up and walking to stand at the head of the rosewood casket. He put his hand on the glossy wood while Freya held the other.

"When we found out you were sick, I promised you I'd always make sure you were taken care of. I promised that you didn't have to take care of me any more, that it was my turn. Somehow, you kept teaching me lessons and showing me what type of person you really were. You were stronger than I could ever hope to be and braver than anyone I've ever met. I'm happy that you stuck around to see me finally settle down like you'd always begged me to. I hope you continue watching out for my family from above, Madre. Te amo." Happy picked up a single white rose from the pile beside the casket and put it carefully into place before picking Freya up and letting her do the same. He motioned for Ollie and picked him up as he did the same..

"Nos vemos, Maria." I kissed the soft rose petals before putting the rose on top of Happy's and the kids. He nodded and kissed my hair before swallowing hard and leading us away from the grave. The service wasn't done, but I knew he couldn't be there any longer. He had made his peace.

"Daddy! Do you want sprinkles?" Freya asked as she rummaged through the pantry. He was on the floor playing with matchbox cars with Ollie while Freya and I made ice cream sundaes for everyone. He laughed and I could hear the happiness in his words.

"No, mija. You can have my sprinkles." I looked over the bar at him and smiled at the life in his eyes. Ollie crawled into his lap and started looking over all of the various tattoos on his arms. I was relieved to see them bonding after the absence he had in Ollie's life so far.

"As soon as I get home we're adding your name right here." Happy said, pointing at the blank space on his inner forearm. Ollie smiled and hugged his arm.

"Love you, Daddy." I dropped the bowl I was holding and it went crashing to the floor. I hissed at the cold ice cream that splattered on my leg as happy tears fell from my eyes. Ollie wasn't a big talker and for him to open up to Happy was too perfect. I could see the love in Happy's eyes as he walked over and checked on me. He rolled his eyes and gave me a smirk before kissing Ollie's cheek.

"Love you back, buddy." He put him down on the counter and helped me clean up the mess as Freya dumped copious amounts of sprinkles in the remaining three bowls. Happy laughed as she handed him a bowl.

"I share, Daddy." She smiled brightly and climbed up on a barstool to start in on her own techni-colored ice cream sundae. Everyone ate their ice cream before I gave the kids their baths and started getting them ready for bed. Happy leaned in the doorway, watching everything I did and talking to me or the kids about random memories of he and Maria when he was a kid.

"Goodnight, mija. I love you." Happy said as he tucked her in to bed. She pulled his face down and gave him a big kiss on the cheek.

"Te amo, Daddy." She whispered. He ruffled her hair before leaving her room and heading to tell Ollie goodnight. His room was SAMCRO blue and adorned with black and silver motorcycles and cars. He was always fascinated with the bikes when we went to the clubhouse.

"You can go to the clubhouse if you want to, Hap." I said as he shrugged his kutte off and started unbuttoning his dress shirt. He shook his head and continued undressing.

"I'm where I want to be, Kat. I'm not spending a second away from you." He rasped as I got into bed beside him. I rolled onto my side and ran my hand over his chest as he looked up at me. He pulled me onto his chest and ran his hands up and down my thighs.

"Kat, wake up baby." I felt his lips on my own and groaned. I'd barely gotten any sleep after the four rounds of sex before we went to sleep. I figured that the longer I put off waking up, the longer I'd have with him. Unfortunately, the DOC didn't see it that way and would be here to pick him up in an hour.

"Come on, woman. I don't make pancakes for just anybody." He whispered before playfully backing away towards the door. I laughed and hopped out of bad, chasing after him with his shirt hanging on me like a dress.

"No run inside!" Ollie giggled from his seat at the table. He and Freya were already eating as I pinched Happy's ticklish spot just above his pronounced v-cut. He smacked my ass and gave me a look that said no to tickling. Of course, I ignored it.

"Woman, can't a man just eat his pancakes without you doing that shit?" He asked with a laugh, pulling me onto his lap. I shrugged and stole his bite of pancake. Breakfast went on in the playful manner until there was a knock at the door.

Harley started growling loudly and Mayhem barked as ferociously as a fluffy puppy could at the door. I knew by the way Harley reacted that it was Happy's ride. He sighed and stood up from the table.

"You gotta keep this safe for me, got it mija?" He handed Freya his reaper ring before giving her a big hug and kiss. She started crying and clung to his leg as he picked up Ollie.

"Buddy, you're in charge while I'm gone, okay? Make sure these crazy girls don't girl up the garage. I love you, Oliver." Happy kissed him on the forehead before Ollie slammed his head down in the crook of Happy's neck. He always hid his face when he was sad. I had a feeling he'd turn out just like his father, hiding his emotions from everyone.

"Love you, Daddy." He whispered before giving Happy's snake tattoo a kiss. Happy nodded and passed him over to me as he pried Freya off his leg.

"I'll be home as soon as I can, baby. I love you. Forever, for always and no matter what, Kat." I nodded and kissed him deeply as the guards banged on the front door again. Harley lunged forward and I had to hold his collar to keep him from attacking Denton as he led Happy away to the van. Freya held most of her tears back until Happy was gone. Then, we all cried together.

Last one-shot filler until we get to Part II. I'm going to start working on it tonight as long as we don't get too many emergency calls. Love you all!-Ashley
