4/28/2015, Author's Note: Don't get excited. This is, unfortunately, not a chapter update. It's more...a public service announcement?
Alright, so that's kind of a lie too, heh. As I'm sure many of you have noticed, Effervescent hasn't been updated in over a month. I'm not going to make up excuses and say 'Oh, I couldn't write because I've been busy!' or 'I just need to play more of the game to get some inspiration!' - none of that would be true. I have played further into the game, and...nothing. I have been busy, but who isn't busy?
Honestly, it all boils down to the fact that I have had no inspiration to write for this story. It really is very sad because Effervescent was my first fanfiction (and piece of writing, ever) and I'm very fond of Luke and Allie. Over the summer, I have a lighter course load than I had this semester, and I plan on heavily revising all the posted chapters. Hopefully by the time I finish said revisions, something will spark that little creative flame inside of my mind and chapter seven will be finished...hopefully.
In the meantime, I've been writing extensively for the Final Fantasy VIII fandom (I know, I'm such a traitor). I've just finished a Seifer Almasy/Fujin centered/paired story. It's full of fluff, the writing is significantly better than in Effervescent, and FFVIII is my baby :3 I've just started working on my second FFVIII fic, which is Seifer Almasy/Quistis Trepe (you'd think Seifer is my bae, he totally isn't). If you follow me as an author and like FFVIII, feel free to follow/fave my current WIP. Unfortunately, as this note implies, my current WIP is not Effervescent...
I do have every intention of finishing it though, I can promise you that. It just may be a slow and gravelly road...until then. Thanks to all those who followed/favorited, I hope you stick around until I continue writing this, but I understand if you don't. Still appreciate all of you :3
