A/N: My goodness... I can't say how much I appreciate all who reviewed! It was wonderful to read your comments and it really made my day. Thank you! With school and work I may not get a chance to update for a few days, but I wanted to get this one out for you all :)

Dr. Michaels had come in and done a quick examination on Timmy. He let Tony and Gibbs stay in the room, not wanting to put any unnecessary stress on either boy. When he was satisfied the little one was getting stronger, he quietly left the room; telling the nurses not to disturb them.

Tony had once again climbed up onto the bed, careful not to sit or even lean any part of himself on his brother. He grabbed Timmy's blanket that he had brought with him and laid it on top of Timmy, then held onto his hand.

"'Ey Timmy." Tony said with a huge smile.

"'I Toe-y." Timmy said quietly through the oxygen mask.

"How 'ou 'eeling?"

"Ti-ed."

"I bet." Tony and Timmy just looked at each other for a moment, taking in the fact that they were both there together. Quietly Tony admitted, "I 'issed 'ou. I g-ad 'ou k."

"'E too."

Tony smiled and then bounced a little with excitement, "I 'ant 'ou to meet Gibbs! He a po-ice o-ticer." Tony turned to look behind him at Gibbs.

Gibbs slowly stepped up behind Tony and gave Timmy a small smile. "Hi Timmy. It's nice to meet you."

Timmy just stared at Gibbs with a blank look, not saying anything.

"Timmy, say hi!" Tony told him.

Timmy continued to look at Gibbs but slowly his look turned to one of confusion. It seemed to Gibbs like he was trying to work something out in his head. "I 'eard 'or 'oice be-ore." Timmy finally said.

Gibbs raised his eyebrows in wonder and smiled, "Yeah, I came in to see you last night. Talked to you for a minute. You heard me huh?"

"Uh-huh... 'I."

"Hi."

The room went quiet again for a minute, until Tony couldn't sit still and began to wiggle. Gibbs sat down in the chair as Tony launched into story mode. He told Timmy everything that had happened during his stay in the hospital so far. He talked so fast Gibbs had a hard time following, even though he had been there for most of it. Looking at Timmy, Gibbs could tell he was listening and understanding every word. 'Must be that sibling communication thing' Gibbs thought to himself as Tony began to describe Fornell. The look on Timmy's face was comical when he was told about how the man slept in the chair. Timmy giggled and Gibbs chuckled as Tony explained how Fornell told him to call him Tobias. Tony's pronunciation wasn't quite appropriate, so Fornell reluctantly excepted 'Toby' as a substitute. Tony excitedly told him of their new clothes and then the days activities.

As Timmy's eyes began to close, Gibbs noticed how Tony's voice became softer, quieter, and slower. When Timmy's breathing evened out into sleep Tony carefully leaned over and kissed his forehead. Gibbs was able to hear the gentle words Tony said.

"Night Timmy. S-eet deems. See 'ou in da mo-ning. I 'ove 'ou." Tony leaned back up and wrapped the blanket tighter around Timmy before looking at his little brother once more. With a yawn of his own he turned towards Gibbs and reached out to him. Gibbs grinned as Tony cuddled into his chest after being picked up.

"We'll come back in the morning and see him." Tony just nodded his head against Gibbs as he stared at Timmy. "Let's get you back to bed Buddy. You've had a long day yourself."

Tony was asleep by the time Gibbs got him back to his room. He didn't even stir as Gibbs got him into his pajamas and tucked him in. "Good night Buddy. Sleep tight." With that Gibbs leaned back in the chair and nodded off himself.

An hour later an ear piercing scream had him bolting upright in the chair. Heart pounding out of his chest, Gibbs tried to control his breathing as he looked over at Tony. The little boy let out another blood curdling scream as Gibbs leaned over and ran a hand through Tony's hair.

"Shh, shh, you're okay Buddy. Shh, it's alright, you're safe. Shh, come on now, take it easy." Gibbs continued with a soothing voice as the night nurse ran in. By then Tony had calmed down. The nurse took his vitals and was satisfied he was alright and told Gibbs if he needed anything to hit the call button. As the nurse left the room Tony opened his eyes. They were filled with tears as he looked at Gibbs.

"Oh Buddy, come here." Gibbs said as he climbed onto the edge of the bed and stretched out. Tony literally clung to him, as if he were the only thing left in the world. Tony sobbed until the front of Gibbs' shirt was soaked. Gibbs continued with the soothing nothingness of words and rubbed his back softly. Tony's cries slowly quieted and no more tears fell. Gibbs gave him a few moments and then quietly asked, "Hey Buddy, what was that about?"

Tony just shook his head and tried to bury it into Gibbs' stomach. Reaching down Gibbs gently lifted Tony's face so they were looking at each other.

"You can't hide from things like that Tony. It won't help. It'll only make it worse later."

Looking at Gibbs, Tony finally nodded and whispered, "Ben." He then put his head back down and cuddled into Gibbs, not wanting to explain anymore than that.

Taking a calming breath, Gibbs tried to keep the fury he felt at bay. He didn't want to scare Tony by getting upset. This was not the time to think about what type of pleasure he was going to get out of ripping 'Ben' into little shreds. Right now there was a little boy who needed loving comfort and Gibbs was going to do everything he could to see he got it. Wrapping his arms tight around Tony, Gibbs slid down the bed and held him close. Together they fell asleep, with no more nightmares that night.

The next morning after breakfast and a quick exam from Dr. Shawn, Tony was bouncing, skipping, and in Gibbs' point of view, climbing the walls, on his way to Timmy's room. There was no indication at all that Tony had, had a rough night.

Nurse Lisa was walking with them down the hall. She was Timmy's day nurse, and they had met Nurse Lisa, or 'Isa as Tony called her, that morning during breakfast. Gibbs was in desperate need of a shower and a change of clothes. He also, for his own sanity, needed to stop by the office and see if the rest of the team had come up with any leads. Hence having Tony meet Nurse Lisa and spending the day with his brother.

After getting Tony settled in, because to Gibbs it really did feel like he was dropping his kid off at day care, and saying good morning to Timmy, Gibbs told the boys he would be back later in the afternoon. Even though he had went over this with Tony more than once, the little boys had a panicked look on his face.

"Tony, Buddy. I'll be back after lunch okay? I just need to go home, shower, and change alright? I promise to be back." Gibbs had knelt down so he was eye level with Tony. Tony stared back and then slowly nodded as he straightened his shoulders.

"See 'ou 'ater." Tony said with a grin. And as if the whole conversation never took place, Tony was back to climbing up onto the bed to talk with Timmy. Gibbs just shook his head as he left the room.

A/N: The next chapter will be about trying to find out who and where Ben is :)
