A/N: Loved everyones comments! Didn't think I would have time so soon to get another chapter out, it's short but here you go. Enjoy!
Gibbs stood in the doorway of Timmy's room and saw the T.V. was on the Disney Channel and the sound was down low enough not to wake Tony, who was curled up next to Timmy's leg fast asleep. Looking at Timmy he noticed a few changes from earlier. The bed was raised up higher and Timmy no longer had an oxygen mask. The little boy was awake, eyes wide open with a slight smile as he quietly laughed at the T.V.
Gibbs took in the sight of the two brothers, not understanding how anyone could hurt them. As if sensing someone watching him, Timmy turned and looked at Gibbs. His little face crinkling up into a wide smile, "I."
"Hi." Gibbs replied, returning the smile as he walked over and sat next to the bed. "How are you feeling?"
"Better."
"That's good. Tony wore himself out huh?"
"Uh huh. He ti-ed." They both looked down and chuckled as Tony let out a snore. When Gibbs looked back up he saw Timmy intensely looking at him. "Ou 'ind him?"
Gibbs frowned, trying to decide how to answer. He didn't even want to have this conversation with Tony, let alone his little brother. However the look in Timmy's face made Gibbs pause. The intelligence behind those green eyes was so much like Tony's. His stare was a mix of anticipation and patience, like he knew he would get an answer if he waited long enough.
"Maybe." Gibbs drawled out. The smirk he got in return was not what he expected. He was being to realize how smart these boys were. Timmy must have seen or sensed that Gibbs knew something. Letting out a smile, knowing he needed answers, whether he liked the situation or not, Gibbs pulled the picture of Goldlin out of his pocket.
"I have a picture of someone. All I want is for you to say whether you recognize him or not, okay?"
"K."
Unfolding the paper, Gibbs held it out for Timmy to see. Watching his face as he studied the picture, Gibbs knew Timmy recognized the man, the second he saw him. All traces of the smile, the smirk, the devious little boy he'd been talking with, were gone. It was replaced with a total blank look, the same closed off look he got from Tony just the other day.
Timmy looked right into Gibbs' eyes and said, "Tat Ben."
Gibbs sighed and slowly nodded, "Okay, thanks Timmy."
"Ou 'ind him?" He asked again.
"Not yet. But now, thanks to you, we know who he is and what he looks like. It will make finding him a whole lot easier."
Timmy scrunched up his nose as he frowned. Gibbs tried not to smile as he watched this little boy mull over what he had told him. He could see the wheels turning, and a concern seep into his eyes.
"Timmy," Gibbs leaned forward until Timmy looked at him, "I promise, I will keep you and Tony safe. Ben will never hurt either one of you again."
For a long minute the two stared at each other. Gibbs didn't flinch as he was being measured for the truth of his words. Finally Timmy nodded and let out another smile.
It wasn't long before Tony woke up and Nurse Lisa brought dinner in for all three of them. They watched T.V., talked, and laughed at Tony's jokes. All to soon it was time for Tony to head back to his room for the night. Now that Timmy was feeling better neither brother wanted to leave the other. Gibbs finally convinced them that they would spend the next day together and they gave in. After the boys said their nightly goodnights, Gibbs helped Tony tuck Timmy in and they stayed until he fell asleep.
A/N: I needed some Timmy/Gibbs time. But Tony will be back, along with Fornell, Mike, and Stan in the next chapter :)
