Alright! I got the chapter done on time! So, I got an AMAZING idea from a fan, FangirlEvelyn, be sure to check her out! She offered an awesome, and interesting new idea! Thank you for your creativeness, you're amazing! The idea will pretty much be stated in the beginning of the chapter, and I really hope, and think, you'll like it!

It was two days later after Maryse and Tessa pulled their little prank on Magnus and Alec. Which, was immediately fixed with the snap of Magnus' fingers. A whole new living room was back and normal again.

Magnus and Alec decided they would lay low for a few days, seeing as Tessa and Maryse were already back to their pranking. But to their surprise nothing had happened for the days they waited. No spells of sorts, and no break in's. It was a little weird. They could only figure that Maryse and Tessa were just waiting for Magnus and Alec to strike back, making both of the teams now on edge.

Alec and Magnus were sitting in their new living room, cuddled on the vibrant sofa watching old movies. A light fleece blanket was draped over the couple and Magnus lightly ran his fingers through Alec's long black hair. Alec was nearly sleep but jolted awake at the noise of knocking from the front door.

They both let out a complained groan and Magnus lightly pushed the tired Alec off of him, and stood up. He walked up to the front door to answer and before he could open the door another rushing knock sounded, making Magnus angry. Magnus opened the door and saw two people he least expected to see. Tessa and Maryse stood with Clary and Jace standing behind them.

Tessa and Maryse looked as if they didn't have a choice of coming here. Jace and Clary pushed them inside, not waiting for Magnus to invite them inside or not. Alec was back asleep on the couch, where Magnus nudged him so he could wake up. Alec sat up, the blanket falling to the floor as he stretched and then looked up to see his mother and Tessa standing in the living room. Magnus sat down next to him, wrapping his arm around Alec making him blush a little. And Maryse and Tessa sat on the sofa across from them.

Magnus and Alec looked over at Tessa and Maryse in suspicion and they just shrugged, making all four of them look up at Jace and Clary. They both grinned at each other and Clary spoke up. "We have come up with a new idea for the prank war…" Clary looked at Jace again with a smirk before she continued speaking. "And I think you should really go along with this idea, pleaaaase." She begged.

"What do you want us to do Clary?" Magnus cut in with no patience.

"We think, that you should switch your teams up." Jace spoke, stuffing his hands in his pockets. They looked at him confused. "Like switch up who is on your team. Alec, you'll switch to be with Tessa and Magnus, you'll switch to be with Maryse."

Their eyes lit up in realization and looked at each other with smiles. "Okay…" Tessa spoke, nodding her head as she did and Clary smiled since they were agreeing. "But what team stays at the institute, and what team stays here?"

"I don't know? Figure it out." Jace stated simply, grabbing Clary's hand and turning around and left.

"Well…" Maryse spoke. "Technically, I run the institute, so my team should go."

"Yeah, but Alec lives there with you, and we are both shadowhunters. So we have more of a right to go." Tessa disagreed.

"No…" Maryse argued. "I'm the mother of the household, I have more of a right to go with Magnus!"

"But Magnus lives here, so he'll probably want to stay in his home, instead of the institute." Tessa shook her head as she spoke and the arguments continued for five more minutes before the two stood up shouting at one another.

Magnus and Alec both stood up to break them apart and held them back. "Enough!" Alec yelled. "We can settle this easier than arguing about it. Let's just settle this with… a game."

"What game?" Magnus looked over at him.

"I don't know? Any game. Winner gets to choose where his or her team gets to stay." Alec stated.

Magnus appeared a deck of cards into the room and gestured for them to sit around in a circle around the cards. They all took their seats around the deck of cards and started to play war. Which continued for nearly an hour, resulting in the win of Tessa.

Tessa grabbed the last card and cheered in victory, tossing all of the black and red cards in the air, and they fell to the floor disappearing. They all stood up, Maryse with a sad look on her face.

"I think we know where Tessa will want to stay." Magnus smirked and let Tessa continue cheering in victory.

"Yup!" She said joyfully, and Alec smiled at Magnus before he was flashed to the institute with Tessa.

Tessa never let the smile on her face leave her all day, making everything cheerful, and especially when a prank formed in her mind. "Alec!" she shouted as they lounged in the living room.

Alec was sitting upside down on the couch, his hair brushing the wooden floors with a book held in front of his face. He pulled the book up to his chest. "Yeah?"

"I have a great prank!" Tessa got up from the chair where she was sitting and walked over to him. Alec sat up correctly on the couch and stood up.

"And what would that be, Tessa?" he asked, raking a hand through his hair.

"We could prank Magnus, and remove all of the glitter and colorful and sparkly clothing out of the flat." Tessa smiled. "Just a small beginning prank for the new team switch."

Alec nodded and smiled. "Yeah, sure. Sounds like a good idea." He agreed.

"Can we do it now?" She asked eagerly, bouncing up and down on her feet.

Seeing as how excited and eager she was, Alec agreed, building with excitement himself. He knew how heartbroken Magnus would be upon seeing all of the missing glitter and clothes.

They both went to grab their jackets and quickly headed out of the institute and to Magnus', where their rival team is staying. They stood in front of the Magnus' flat building and stared up at the second floor. Alec checked his watch, seeing as it was only four in the afternoon, they probably weren't asleep yet.

So they took a risk and Tessa flashed them into Magnus and Alec's bedroom. And to their luck, nobody was in there. Alec walked over to Magnus' walk-in closet and opened the doors, turning the lights on. The closet would be the size of a nicely sized bathroom. There was a vibrant, bright, blue chair sitting in front of a coffee table next to a wall mirror. And dozens of racks of clothing long with shelves of clothing. Alec began to walk inside, but he suddenly heard a door open from the bedroom.

The bathroom door that led to Magnus and Alec's room opened shedding light across the dark bedroom floor and wall. Alec hurriedly turned off the closet light and shoved Tessa and himself inside the closet. Tessa began to hide behind the racks of clothes in the room while Alec looked through the keyhole of the door. Magnus walked out with a towel wrapped around his waist as he walked to where Tessa and Alec were hiding.

"Tessa!" Alec yelled in a whisper. "Stay hidden, Magnus is heading over here!" Alec began to panic, looking for a place to hide. He spotted a long dresser pressed against the wall of the room. He quickly pushed the dresser away from the wall and hid behind it, pulling the dresser as close as he could to the wall with him behind it.

Just as Alec began to settle down the door opened and the light turned on in the room. Tessa was hidden where all of Magnus' leather pants where hanging. And luckily enough, he didn't go there. He quickly grabbed some skinny jeans and a walked over to a shelf where many of his shirts were folded, settling on a bright blue shirt with a purple stipe running through it.

And finally after their long wait, Magnus turned off the light and left the room closing the door behind him. They both let out a sigh of relief and got out of their hiding places. Alec put the dresser back against the wall and walked over to Tessa.

"That was a close one…" Tessa sighed.

"Yeah," Alec pulled out his cell phone and turned on the light on his phone instead of turning the closet light on. They've already been close enough in getting caught, no need in risking it any more than they have.

Tessa chanted a spell, shooting sparks the articles of clothing sitting around the room, and hanging on racks. Soon all of the clothes were gone, and she replaced them with all black and grey clothing that couldn't be replaced with new ones. If Magnus tried to rid the clothes in here with a spell, they would immediately be casted back. And Magnus would be stuck with the colorless clothing until Tessa came back to take the spell off.

Alec opened a small door that was in the closet, and when Tessa looked inside she was completely shocked. She knew how much Magnus loved glitter. He wore it every day, on his clothes, in his hair. But she didn't expect to see an entire closet full of glitter. There were many shelves full of all assortments and color combinations of glitter. There were at least one thousand tubes of glitter in that closet.

"Oh my God…" Tessa walked in front of the closet.

"Yeah…" Alec sighed. "My exact reaction."

They both laughed and Tessa looked and admired the whole collection of glitter filling the shelves before snapping the entire glitter assortment away. "Don't worry." Tessa looked over at Alec. "I put all of the clothes and… lifetime supply of glitter in the institute. It's in one of the spare rooms."

"Okay. Now let's get out of here before they know that we're here." Alec smiled and they were soon flashed back to the institute.

Magnus walked back into the living room where Maryse was at, sitting cross legged on the couch with a book in her lap and reading glasses on. Magnus sat down on the opposite side of the couch next to her and turned on the TV, clicking through a bunch of channels before giving up and letting boredom sink in.

"Maryse…" he complained. She looked up from her book and over her glasses at Magnus. "I'm bored. We should prank our new rivals."

Maryse closed her book after marking her place and setting it on the end table next to her with her glasses. "Well, I agree with you on that. But I think we shouldn't just immediately do something. They're probably doing the same. Tomorrow morning, I think I have an idea of what we could do. But of course we will need your magic to do it. But I want to think this prank through first."

"Alright…" Magnus sighed. The rest of the afternoon was spent with Maryse reading her book and Magnus just going through TV shows. Soon Magnus retreated to his room, letting Maryse take any of the guest rooms in the flat.

The next morning Magnus woke up, and walked to the kitchen putting on a pot of coffee. After Magnus drank a strong cup of coffee, he walked back to his room, seeing Maryse walking out of her room. He asked her if she wanted to grab a cup of coffee he had just put on in the kitchen, which she happily accepted.

He walked into his closet and his heart dropped when he turned on the light. It looked like his closet switched places with Alec's wardrobe. And he wasn't happy about that. "What the hell happened?!" He yelled, and felt tears build in his eyes.

Maryse rushed in with a cup of black coffee in her hands and her eyes wide. "What? What's wrong?" she asked scared.

"L-look, a-at what t-they did to m-my closet…" He choked, pointing angrily in the closet as he back away from it in horror.

Maryse looked inside and tried her best to hide her laugh, making Magnus glare at her. His eyes widened suddenly and he tensed up.

"I swear to God! If they touched my glitter, then they will wish they were NEVER born!" He screamed and darted into the closet, and opened the door that contained his glitter. "NOOOOOO!" He yelled dramatically, dropping to the floor and laid down in a ball.

"Magnus! Calm down! We can get you new clothes and glitter." Maryse knelt down beside him and rubbed his arm. "It's gonna be okay, just stay calm."

Magnus sat up, his eyes red in anger as he had started crying. He wiped away the tears that formed in his eyes. "You're right. I overreacted." Magnus stood up and snapped his fingers. A new assortment of glitter was back on the shelves. Magnus smiled happily, and then frowned when the glitter on the shelves flashed back to nothing. "What?" Magnus threw his hands on the shelves. "No…" He groaned and hit his head in the wooden shelf.

Maryse put a comforting hand on his shoulder. "It's alright Magnus."

"No it isn't." Magnus lifted his head from the shelf, a tint of anger in his eyes. "They touched my glitter, and they will pay for it."

Yeah! I was a little nervous of how this chapter would go. But I think it went pretty well. So, I would normally ask you if you wanted Maryse and Tessa to win, or Magnus and Alec. And you guys mostly said Magnus and Alec. But now the teams are different. So, who do you want to win, now? I honestly can't pick. Hopefully you guys can help me out. Thanks for reading! : )
