Uggghhh… I'm SOOOOSORRY! I guess I accidentally uploaded the wrong chapter... I feel like an idiot... omg... Well, Let me just fix that!

I'm so sorry if this chapter is a little shorter or not much happens. I had an ensemble performance on Saturday. And after our performance I had to help out with the other performances. It's hard to understand, but schools from around the state were at my high school and I was helping as a judge assistant, and I was running around the school all day and I was exhausted afterwards. I usually get most of the writing done on Saturday, but I was out of time, and I have a tone of homework to catch up on…

Sorry guys… Hopefully the chapter turns out okay, read on!

The next day Magnus and Maryse had settled on pranking Alec and Tessa without using a spell this time. And it was very tricky. Tessa had set up traps on all entrances of the Institute. Even the windows had an unnoticeable laser going across it for them to get caught with. So instead of sneaking in, all Magnus did was cast them inside the house.

"It's less cool if we don't sneak in." He whined and Maryse punched him in the arm.

"Shh!" She hissed at him. "We don't need to get caught. For all we know there could be traps in the Institute as well."

Magnus just nodded and walked down the hallway behind Maryse. He smiled to himself, seeing some glitter still appear on the walls and floors of the hallway in little spots and specks. It felt so long ago that he casted that, but it may have only been a week or so ago.

The prank that they had set up now was so much different, and probably eviler. Magnus kind of felt bad for doing it to them, but it couldn't harm them. At least he hoped not.

Maryse had approached the living room, where they could see Alec and Tessa chatting away in. Magnus' right hand began emitting with blue sparks as he shot both Tessa and Alec with. They both noticed something quite odd about the two.

Tessa was dressed in a baggy black sweater that was a little too big, and black skinny jeans. Instead of her clean brown hair flowing down on her shoulders, it was up in a messy bun. Alec was in light blue skinny jeans and plaid dark blue flannel, unbuttoned with a white shirt under it. His hair was slightly damp and brushed. They were opposite. And Maryse and Magnus knew exactly why.

Magnus walked in the room, where Alec and Tessa were frozen in place. Maryse walked in, setting up the prank. It was taking a little longer than expected, but after about thirty minutes everything was done and Magnus and Maryse were about to head out.

The prank was sitting right behind them and they would have no idea about it until they turned around. Magnus quickly unfroze the two and then they walked as quick as they could down the hall. Once they could hear screaming and footsteps coming down the hall, Magnus quickly flashed them out of the room and all the way back to his flat.

Alec and Tessa were still stuck with the spell that Magnus and Maryse casted on them the next day. They both woke up around eight, and after getting dressed and meeting in the kitchen, they nearly fainted.

"What are you making me wear?" Alec grimaced at Tessa. "Why… Please, go change!"

"Me?" Tessa argued. "What about you? I've never worn so much black in my life! Don't do this to me!"

"I've never worn anything but black…" Alec hung his head. "And I'm not going to stop!" he declared. "Go change!"

Tessa glared at him as he pointed near the door. She turned around and began cooking breakfast. Alec went to the library in search for a spell to take off the one Magnus casted on them. They searched almost half of the library last night, but they weren't giving up now.

Tessa called for Alec to come back and eat breakfast. And once they were finished eating, they decided to go to the living and chat for a few minutes.

"Any luck?" Tessa asked hopefully. "With the spells I mean…"

"No," Alec frowned. "Sadly." Alec adjusted where he was sitting on the couch. "But, I did find some spells that would really help out when pranking Magnus and Maryse."

"That would help out. If we don't find a new spell today," Tessa spoke in thought. "We could possibly bribe them to take off the spell."

"Yeah," Alec agreed. "That's what I was thinking."

"Well," Tessa shook her head. "Hopefully we won't have to do that."

"Yeah…" Alec sighed uncomfortably, and he turned his head to the side. There was movement from the side of his vision. He turned around, and gasped when he saw a Drevak demon was crawling around the floor.

He screamed in Tessa's high pitch voice and then Tessa turned around and screamed with him. They both jumped from where they were sitting and ran past the demon quickly and dashed down the hall with fast speed. They sprinted up the steps of the stairs, taking two at a time, and headed into the weapons room. They grabbed a belt, loading them with weapons, knives and swords. They both held two seraph blades in hand marking them with the angelic rune before heading back downstairs and finding the demon.

The demon was heading up the stairs, along with a second one. Tessa dodged one that leaped towards her and slashed at the demon with the blade, cutting its back and black inchor seeped from the wound.

The second one lurched toward Alec quicker and knocked him to the ground, Tessa dodged past the one that was attacking her and stabbed the blade into the skull of the maggot like demon, inchor shooting from the fatal wound that led to its death. Tessa rolled the demon off Alec and soon turned back to the last one standing behind her. Alec slowly got up, a deep cut ran down his arm.

The Drevak leaped at Tessa again, but she easily dodged it and slashed at its throat but wound up missing. Alec quickly drew an Iratze on his arm under the large cut that began to ooze with thick dark scarlet blood. The Iratze took effect quickly and the cut healed, just as he saw the Drevak jump at Tessa. She threw the seraph blade at the demon, the blade burying into its chest, and the wound soaking in inchor but not enough to kill it.

Alec took out the broadsword that was in its sheath on his back, and ran towards the Drevak. Right before the demon attacked Tessa, Alec buried the large sword into the skull of the Drevak. The demon fell to the floor and soon the two Drevak's disappeared, leaving there inchor burning on the floor, and on their clothes.

Tessa and Alec let out a heavy sigh and collapsed to the floor out of breath. "How did they get in?" Tessa looked over at Alec and before realizing it, she was actually looking at Alec.

Tessa looked at herself. Her hair was pulled up and she took it down, letting the brown curls fall down her back and over shoulders. She didn't like the clothes she was wearing, but she could put up with it for now.

Alec looked over at Tessa and noticed the sudden change as well. He ran his hands through his hair, getting the demon poison in his black hair. The nice bright clothes he was wearing were now covered in inchor as well. But he defiantly wouldn't mind changing out of these clothes.

"So?" Tessa sat up, looking down at Alec as he smiled. "Did they do this?"

"It would make sense. " Alec stated. "You set up alarms all around the house. If anyone, or anything got in here anyway besides the works of a warlock, then it had to be them."

"How could they?!" Tessa yelled appalled. "We could have died!"

"They were just Drevak's. They aren't that harmful…" Alec stated.

"But you got scratched!" She stated. She looked down at her arm expecting an Iratze rune, but they must have been switched during the attack. Or at least before he was scratched.

Alec looked down where he drawn the rune and it was already slightly fading on his arm. "But it healed. I'm fine." He sat up with a grin still played at his lips. "And to be honest. I kind of missed killing demons. It was kind of fun."

Tessa frowned. "Yeah kinda…" She mumbled.

Alec laughed. "But you know what this means now…" Alec's grin turned evil.

"What?" She asked.

Alec stood up and held his hand out for Tessa to take. He ran down the stairs and through the hallways, Tessa slightly falling behind. But before he got out of sight she saw him turn into the library.

Alec was waiting in there for her holding a spell book and had his finger pointed at the font in the old book.

"It means…" Alec handed her the book, showing her the spell. "We get to prank back"

So sorry if this chapter wasn't as good as the others. I tried! I promise! Again, I ask who you want to win. I got a few more answers. I would like to see your thoughts on it and such. I've been so busy lately that I didn't have a ton of time to work on the chapter. Hopefully you liked it! ;) And I don't know how next week's chapter is going to turn out either. I have my first winter percussion competition next weekend and I'm soooo nervous! Ahhhh! But hopefully you get a longer chapter and more events in it. I don't think this chapter was as amusing as the others… I'm sorry. But I'll see you guys next week! :D
