Oh my GOSH! Guys! I updated this chapter last week! But I guess it never went through or something! I just realized! I'm so sorry! This was supposed to be up last week! I feel awful! How did I not realize! I was wondering why nobody had said anything. Sorry guys!
So! I want you guys to know that I'm planning an ending for this soon… But I'm not sure. I don't know how to end it, I'm out of ideas. And maybe three people, have told me who they wanted to win. I was hoping a few more would share your opinion. So, I'm going to tally up those votes, which really isn't that hard considering there are only three. But this is the last time I ask. Speak now, or forever hold your peace! (Did I use that correctly?) But anyway, enjoy your new chapter!
Alec darted from the room, with a horrific look on his face. He reached up to Tessa and knocked her onto the floor, trying to throw her in front of her so he could be safe from who knows what. "What?" Tessa whined, sitting up from where she had landed on the floor. She rubbed at the back of her neck before looking at him again. "What is it Alec?"
Instead of answering her, he just shakily pointed at her room where the door was wide open. Nothing was there that she could see when she looked at it, making her sigh and look back over at Alec.
"Alec," she hissed. "Spit it out! What is it?" Tessa was beginning to get annoyed with Alec. If he could just tell her, then things would be easier. Tessa was ready to slap him.
Alec continued to stay quiet and point at the doorway, eyes wide and body shaking in fear. Tessa angrily stood up, dramatically walking to her room with loud footsteps. But before she could open the door Alec screamed for her to stop as she approached the doorway. "Stop! No please! Don't go in there! You'll regret it!" Tessa glared back at him as she approached the door and placing her hand on the door knob. And to torture Alec, she opened the door slowly while she looked at him and his fear.
Before she could look inside the room she looked back at Alec's horrified state and glared. She walked in front of the doorway and looked inside. And to her surprise, it was just a nice yet creepy collection of stuffed bears and dolls and animals. "Seriously, Alec?" She looked back over at him. "This is just Magnus and Maryse' doing. Are you really that terrified of stuffed animals?" She looked at him with surprise. Alec just glared at her and looked nervously at the doorway.
Alec nearly shrieked when he saw Tessa walk inside of the room. He waited impatiently outside, waiting for her to come back. He heard Tessa's footsteps reach an abrupt stop and a scream before the door to the room slammed shut with no one moving it. He shot up from where he was standing and ran to the door, trying the doorknob but as he expected, the door wouldn't budge.
Tessa screamed, looking at the stuffed animals as they approached her. One jumped on her leg, making her jump back and shake the pink bear off her leg. She jumped on top of the bed, kicking at the stuffed dolls and animals as they climbed up and jumped at her.
Alec became very nervous when he heard Tessa scream from the other side of the door. "Tessa!?" he yelled, tugging on the door. He grabbed his steele before giving up and making drawing an open rune on the door frame. To his relief, the door flew open and he ran inside to see a terrified Tessa standing on the bed with two seraph blades in hand and at the ready where an army full of stuffed animals waddled towards her, some beginning to climb up the loose sheets and blankets of the bed, reaching up to Tessa. "Tessa, come on! It's just a bunch of stuffed toys. Don't be such a wuss!"
"Oh really," Tessa rolled her eyes mockingly. "You're telling me to toughen up. I'm not the one who charged out of the room, screaming like a little girl."
"Hey!" Alec offended. "Would you just hurry up and get out of here!"
Tessa rolled her eyes at him again before jumping off of the bed and dodging around the little creatures. Once she caught up to Alec, they exited the room and closed the door behind them. And soon they could hear little tiny knocks from the stuffed animals behind them on the door. Which only increased the anger in both Alec and Tessa.
Maryse and Magnus had cleaned up the mess that was left in the living room. And by mess, they mean, large piles of snow and carrots and coal lying on the floor due to the destruction of all the snowmen they fought. The coal and carrots had only been thrown away. But the snow was adding to the weather issue still in the flat.
The evil snowmen that they fought added at least five more inches of snow to the floor. Magnus had tried shoveling the snow out of the window, but once he did the snow would just come right back. They never knew how long this would last.
Maryse was back sitting on the couch, huddled in a huge amount of blankets reading her book, while Magnus was back trying to figure out the climate of the rooms 'situation'. He was now working on the heat of the room, setting the heat up to its highest level and lighting up the small fireplace he didn't even know he had.
After finishing up everything in his flat, he went back to his room so he could take a quick shower. Magnus remembered back to when someone had put white hair color in his shampoo and purple dye in his body wash. That was one of the most torturous and awful pranks out of all.
Luckily the dye had faded and his hair and skin tone was back to normal. Maryse hadn't been in the war as long as the others had. But knowing how the pranks have increasingly worsened over the war, he could only imagine what had happened when Maryse and Tessa were at the Institute.
Maryse had stopped reading her book and heard the shower turn on when she stood up and walked into the kitchen. She browsed through the cabinets and shelves of the kitchen to find something to make since it was past seven. While she was in the middle of cooking dinner she heard a loud shriek come from Magnus' room. Considering the dangerous pranks that Alec and Tessa have done recently, she ran to see what was wrong with Magnus, just in case he was in danger.
She slammed his bedroom door open and he wasn't in his room or bathroom. She noticed light coming from Magnus' closet and decided to check in there. When she opened the door she saw his closet filled with bright sparkling clothes unlike the black and grey clothes that were in there last time she saw it. Magnus was in a bright red robe, laying in the middle of the floor holding bright vests and shirts against his chest while screeching as loud as he could.
"MY BABIES!" He screamed. "I MISSED YOU SO MUUUUCH!" he knocked over a rack of leather pants, all of the clothes scattering on the floor around him. He continued to scream while he rolled over the floor and clothes smiling and laughing.
"Magnus!" Maryse yelled.
"Shut up, Maryse!" Magnus yelled. "Don't judge me! These are my children!" Magnus screamed and continued rolling around on the floor with joy. Maryse laughed at him, leaning against the door of the closet. Magnus suddenly sat up, eyes wide and aware. He jolted from where he was sitting in the mess of clothes on the floor and ran to the small door where his glitter was stored. He slowly opened the door to reveal the smaller closet full with glitter in arrays of colors and combinations. "Oh my gosh!" He screamed again.
Magnus scooped up a shelf of bottles, dropping some on the floor in the process but none breaking or shattering.
He collapsed back onto the floor with a huge smile as he hugged the bottles of glitter to his chest. Maryse just walked back out of the room again and into the living room and into the kitchen. She finished dinner and called for Magnus. When he wasn't there after about five minutes, she figured he didn't hear her or he was still saying his goodbyes to his clothes. Which wouldn't surprise her.
She called for him a second time and he still never shown up. Maryse just decided to check on him, or see what he was doing. He wasn't in his room or the living room so she decided he was still in his closet.
"Magnus?" Maryse called before she opened the door. No one was in there. But he wasn't in any of the bathrooms or the living room or kitchen or his bedroom. He had to be in here. There was a small giggle, that didn't sound like him, across the room. Maryse walked across the room, looking past racks of clothes and shirts.
She looked over a tall rack of pants and saw something unexpected. Sitting on a pile of clothes, surrounded by the red velvet robe, was indeed Magnus. But not the Magnus she knew. It was a small baby. It was Magnus.
He was looking around the room curiously, his hair still in rainbow streaks and spiked up. He had his cat slit pupils and tanned skin. He even had in little diamond earrings in his small ears. When he looked up at Maryse he gave her a big smile and giggled. Maryse' mouth was agape as she looked at him.
Magnus' robe had fallen down around him since it was now too big and Magnus was now in a diaper. Magnus swung his arms, blue sparks emitted from his tiny fingers as he conjured up a small rubber ducky. It appeared in the air, and fell on the floor with a 'quack', making Magnus giggle.
"What are we going to do now?" Maryse sighed as she looked at the giggling baby in front of her.
Okay… So sorry if the chapter was short. I had competition when I wrote this, and I ran out of time and was completely out of ideas. I would've worked on it this weekend, but I had babysitting. So I'll leave you with a cute baby Magnus this week! Hope you enjoyed, and don't forget to tell me which team you are voting for! Bye!
