"Magnus!" Maryse yelled as yet another rubber ducky hit her in the back of the head. So far the count of rubber ducky's Magnus has manified was high. It was up to thirty eight and Maryse was beginning to loose count. Maryse picked up the yellow toy off of the floor, holding it in front of a giggling baby Magnus with a stern look. "If you throw another ducky at me, you are getting a time-out!"

Magnus jutted out another giggle as she turned around in anger, appearing another ducky and tossing it at Maryse so it hit her in the back. Maryse' walking turned into an abrupt stop and she slowly turned around. Magnus had a big grin plastered on his face, if only he weren't so annoying Maryse may be enjoying this. She stomped up to Magnus and picked him up off the floor and he let out a cry as she did. Magnus was held against her shoulder and he let out loud sobs as he hit her with his tiny fists into her back and shoulder.

"Nope." Maryse opened up his bedroom door. "I told you multiple times already. This is your punishment for not behaving." She set him on his bed and looked at him sternly. Magnus' eyes were already red from crying and tears fell down his cheeks. Magnus was in a purple shirt, that simply stated, fabulous, and a diaper. His hair was still spiked and colorful with glitter. Maryse patted Magnus on the head and his thin black hair flattened down. "Are you going to behave now?" Maryse asked, looking at the sobbing toddler.

Magnus just gave a quick nod and wiped at his eyes with his small hands. Maryse held her arms out as to pick him up and Magnus looked at her and gave a big smile as she picked him up off the bed. Maryse tossed him in the air and he let out tiny giggles when she tickled him, and brought him back into the living room.

They already stocked Magnus' house with baby supplies. Bottles, a crib, a playpen, pacifiers, etcetera… She set Magnus into the playpen and grabbed the spell book off of the couch she was reading. As she sat down on the couch she began thinking of spells and idea's as she flipped through the pages.

Maryse wanted it to relate to what Tessa and Alec had done. Now that Magnus was a toddler it was going to be a little challenging to prank. An idea crossed her mind and she gasped, causing Magnus to look up from the toy ship he was playing with to look up at her. "Magnus!" Maryse said, jumping up from the couch and knelt down on the floor next to the playpen. She flipped through the spell book and stopped on a page and set the heavy book in front of Magnus. "I need you to repeat after me." Maryse looked down at the book and back up at Magnus to see if he could understand. Confusion clouded Magnus bright green and gold eyes and Maryse sighed. "You can't even talk, how is this going to work?" Maryse slumped on the floor and looked at the brown wooden floors.

Magnus turned back to the toy boat and played around as Maryse pondered on what to do. Her eyes lit up and she stood up.

"Fine!" She flattened down her skirt and looked over at Magnus. "I'll figure this out myself!"

"There has to be something…" Maryse stormed off to Magnus' office and searched the selves for ingredients and potions. Soon, Tessa and Alec would be in a similar situation.

Maryse sighed and wiped off her forehead with her sleeve and held the small test tube in front of her. "Done." She said to herself and walked out of the office and back into the living room where Magnus was sitting on the couch happily with a stuffed bear in front of him. She took the small test tube with a cloudy purple liquid and placed it in her pocket.

Maryse put on a coat and went to put on her shoes until she heard a knock at the door. Maryse opened the door and saw Clary bundled up in a bright coat with Jace standing next to her shivering.

"Come in, come in." Maryse stood out of the doorway so they could walk inside. "Thanks for coming here on a short notice."

"No problem!" Clary smiled happily, shrugging off her coat and hanging it on the coat rack next to where Jace placed his. "So what do you need us here for?"

"Well…" Maryse grinned shyly. "It's a little weird. I need you to babysit for me. See, now Magnus Tessa, Alec and I switched the teams up so Magnus and I are on a team and Tessa and Alec are on a team, in case you didn't already know. Tessa must have casted a spell, and well… See for yourselves." Maryse pointed at the couch where Magnus was cuddling the big teddy bear.

"Oh my God." Jace gaped.

"He's so cute!" Clary squealed.

"Yeah." Maryse smiled. "I need you to watch him for me as I go out and prank Alec and Tess. If you don't mind."

"Sure!" Clary agreed, skipping over to Magnus and dragging Jace behind her. Maryse took that as a sign to go. She quickly put on her boots and headed to the Institute.

Since she never took a car with her to Magnus', she was walking to Institute in the cold winter. But after thirty minutes she finally got there and entered the house through a window. Maryse slowly walked through the hallways and could hear Alec and Tessa in the library. She sighed in relief and headed to the kitchen.

She shuffled through the fridge. Before she decided to put the potion in a gallon of tea sitting in the fridge, she saw a small cup sitting on the counter half full with water. She slowly poured the potion into the cup and put away the empty tube. She let only five purple drops fall into the cup and she mixed it. The water looked simply normal and untouched.

Soon she heard voices from down the hallway and began to panic. She glanced all around the room before spotting a window. As the voices got closer she opened the window and dropped to the ground, shutting the window just as Alec and Tessa walked in. Before she could get caught she ducked down in the bushes again the house and quickly left.

Tessa walked into the kitchen with Alec laughing by her side. "I wonder how Maryse and Magnus are doing now. Well… I think we know how Magnus is doing."

"I bet Magnus is an adorable baby…" Tessa laughed and walked up to the fridge.

"Yeah." Alec sighed, leaning against the counter. "Probably. I kind of wish I could see it." He grabbed the small glass of water off the counter that was next to him.

"It's too bad we can't!" Tessa laughed, grabbing a bottle of water from the fridge. "He's probably pestering Maryse to death."

Alec laughed and took a big drink from the water. He set it back on the counter and went to let out another laugh, and he then realized he couldn't. Alec put his hand up to his throat. Tessa watched him as he opened his mouth to speak, but nothing ever came out. Alec couldn't speak, and he knew exactly who had done this.

"Alec?" Tessa looked confused. "Are you okay, Alec?"

Alec looked over at her with fear. With many wild hand gestures and mouthing's of words, Tessa finally understood what was happening. Soon Alec was storming off back to the library, reading through the spell books.

This was a small chapter. Again I'm so sorry. And I know the prank on Tessa is similar to one that has already happened. Sorry. I'm trying to have every prank be different, but I'm running low on my ideas. For the past five chapters, I suddenly just get an idea and go with it. But this week, that didn't happen. I hope you enjoyed, hopefully next week will be better!
