Yay! The update is finally here after so long! This chapter worked out very well. I got some help this week from a good friend. Highwarlockofkokomo. He just finished reading the story recently and helped out with some of this chapter over the weekend, be sure to give him credit! But it's been such a long time, read on you nerds!

"Alec!" Tessa yelled as she lost him in the halls of the Institute. She could immediately assume he was in the library, pondering on spells to use.

Tessa was indeed right, as she saw Alec waiting for her in the library with a spell book open, pointing at a certain spell. Alec held up a piece of paper, listing two things she needed to do. Tessa simply followed Alec's instructions and took care of the two spells.

"Alec, its okay, calm down." Alec's face was still flushed red in anger and he was still looking through spell books for more things to do. He had already handed her several different, interesting spells and a couple different combinations.

Alec was making enough pranks for a lifetime. Alec looked up from the maze of books in front of him. He looked back down and scribbled on a piece of paper. "They will pay", it stated simply.

"Alec, let's just take a break…" Tessa sighed. But Alec was not going to stop, at least not until they could fix his voice.

"Magnus!" Maryse yelled as the toddler pulled her long hair. Maryse struggled with the baby as she went to put him in the high chair she set up in the kitchen.

Magnus just giggled and smiled at her as she backed away from the chair to grab the baby food she sat on the counter behind her. Maryse set the small bowl in front of him, and Magnus' eyes lit with amusement as he played with the food.

Maryse sighed and messily brushed her hand through her hair. Magnus was already in the process of getting baby food all over his clothes and the tray of the highchair. Magnus was wearing a sparkling purple shirt and he had pink shorts due to the hot weather of the kitchen. Maryse exited the room for a moment for a quick change of clothes. She didn't trust Magnus alone in the kitchen, who knows what he may do as a toddler.

She could hear Magnus giggling from the kitchen as she exited her room. When Magnus' cute giggles were quickly cut off, worry threaded through Maryse and she darted into the kitchen.

Maryse was not expecting the sight before her. Magnus was standing in the kitchen, back to his normal adult self. But instead of standing there, Magnus was on the floor, his body entangled in the small highchair. Magnus was trying to squirm out of the small child furniture when Maryse walked in and quickly stopped to look at her with embarrassment. His clothes were the same as he had before but they were covered in baby food. He even had a bib around his neck.

"Maryse!" Magnus' eyes widened. "Help me!" He managed to get one of his hands loose from where it was pinned on the floor from the leg of the highchair. Maryse walked over to him, but Magnus beckoned for her to back away.

Magnus' hand emitted blue sparks, conjuring the highchair to disappear and him to be cleaned of all the food and back into normal clothing. His hair flowed up into its usual spikes and makeup faded onto his face.

Magnus looked over at Maryse and smirked. "That was hectic."

Maryse just rolled her eyes and sat down on one of the bar stools. "You are one of the worse baby's I have ever taken care of before." Maryse complains. "You would never behave and all you did was throw things at me and pull my hair! I can't take much more!"

"Well, I'm back to normal now, don't worry." Magnus calmed her, picking up one of the bar stools and setting it in front of her so he could sit down. "But you can't deny that I am one of the cutest baby's you have ever seen…"

"I'm one hundred percent positive that my children were much cuter and adorable than you." Maryse stated.

Magnus just shrugged and stood up.

"Where are you going?" Maryse stood up with him.

"To my closet." Magnus walked out of the kitchen and to his room. "My hair is in desperate need of some glitter, as well as these clothes." Magnus gestured to his spiked hair and the dark drab clothing he was wearing and walked to his closet door with Maryse next to him.

Magnus opened the door to the closet and went to walk in when he was suddenly pushed back. Maryse looked startled but just ignored it. Magnus proceeded to walked through the doorway again but was pushed back again.

"No…" Magnus' eyes widened with realization. "No, no, no! Not again!" Magnus banged his fisted against the empty door way. Every time he hit in between the doorway, blue sparks shot from between his fists and the invisible object or barrier in the doorway.

"They put a barrier on the door to my closet." Magnus whined as he slammed his fists against the barrier for the last time before storming off.

"They really don't want you to have your clothes do they?" Maryse laughed.

"It's not funny…" Magnus snarled as he walked towards the bathroom in the hallway.

Maryse leaned against the wall, giggling as she saw Magnus once again be rejected by an invisible barrier in the doorway of the bathroom.

"Great…" Magnus says to no one in particular. "The door to the bathroom has a barrier as well." This was highly unfortunate for Magnus as he was on the verge of peeing his pants. Magnus could only think of one way to relive his bladder at the moment. Maryse eyed Magnus as she saw him walk towards the window.

"What are you doing?" Maryse asked him suspiciously as he walked over to the window.

Magnus approached the window, turning to look at her as he threw the window open. "Turn around or don't look." He stated simply. He leaned out the window just enough to get his lower half out of the window. When he believes he is out the window enough, he relives his bladder as Maryse lets out a sound of mockery behind him.

One thing Magnus didn't think about before he did this was remember that he lived in New York, where people walked on the sidewalks at all times. And many people tend to walk past his building, under his window.

Magnus' mind suddenly registers to that thought when shouts of angry pedestrians come from people below his window that are unfortunately wet. One thing was for sure, they were angry. The sound of all the shouting caused Maryse to look and suddenly realize what was going on. She proceeded to yell at Magnus and demand that he pull his pants back up and apologize to the people he urinated on.

"Go apologize to those people right now!" Maryse yelled at him, nearly fuming.

"No!" Magnus yelled back, closing up the window, the shouts of the people getting cut off.

Maryse placed her hands on her hips and glared at him. "Magnus…" She said calmly, but her voice soon jumped to a scream as she began to say, "You just urinated on a bunch of innocent citizens! Go apologize to them! Now!"

Magnus looked at her with fear in his eyes. He should have already known that you do not tell Maryse lightwood no. Magnus snapped his fingers together and tried calming her. "Look, I fixed the problem," Magnus ushered her to the window, "I erased that tragic experience from their memories and they are clean and okay! See. Everything is fine!"

"I can't take this anymore…" Maryse complained! "I'm done! I quit!" Maryse turned around and walked toward the front door.

Magnus' eyes widened. "What?" What do you mean?"

"I mean!" Maryse turned around and glared at him. "I don't want to be in this prank war anymore! I'm done! Alec and Tessa win!" And Maryse left, slamming the door behind her, leaving an upset Magnus.

Alec sat in the living room, waiting for Tessa. Tessa was in the middle of making a potion that had a chance of working on Alec's predicament. Alec's nerves jumped when Tessa walked back in the room, startling him.

A blue steaming potion sat in a small tube that Tessa handed to Alec. Alec's hand grasped the warm test tube that held the dangerous potion.

"This should work. The potion may have side effects. But don't worry it's nothing much." Tessa sat next to him.

Alec quickly tossed the liquid back as if he were drinking a shot and set it back on the table.

"Alec!" Tessa shouted with surprise when he finished off the liquid

"What?" Alec asked startled, but then let a smile spread across his face. "It worked!" Alec's eyes lit up and he smiled.

"Yeah, but the potion is strong. It only takes a few drops to work." Tessa looked at him nervously, he had finished off every drop of the potion.

"Oh…" Alec looked at the completely empty test tube. "What's going to happen to me now?"

"The side effects are most likely to happen, and possibly be stronger than they should." Tessa sighed.

"Well, um…" Alec gulped and asked Tessa nervously. "What are the side effects?"

Tessa handed him the page from the book they had taken and his eyes increasingly got wider as he read over the long list of side effects. Side effect after side effect, detail after detail, Alec was in deep trouble. The list looked as if it never ended, like it never stopped.

As Alec was near a panic attack, they heard the front door of the institute slam and saw Maryse walk in the living room.

"Maryse!" Tessa looked at her surprised. "What are you doing here?"

Maryse took off her coat and hung it on a hook on the wall. "I can't take Magnus anymore! I'm done. He has simply drove me nuts since we switched teams. You guys win, I quit this war!"

"Did Magnus want to quit?" Alec asked, scratching at his neck, a red spot forming on his neck.

"No. I wouldn't think." Maryse shook her head.

"Then we'll just go against Magnus. He just won't have a partner." Alec began to increase his volume.

Maryse gave Alec a strange look and continued speaking. "No. That's not fair. You guys can just win. Let this be over with"

"No!" Alec yelled.

"But this is our chance to finally win. Besides it wouldn't be fair to Magnus and you wouldn't want to be unfair."

"I don't care!" Alec's voice raised as he scratched at his neck again. "You're being unfair! I don't want to win like this."

"But this has been going on for so long. It's time for this to come to an end." Tessa disagreed.

"Then quit! Because I'm not done!" Alec's voice was ear splittingly loud.

"Okay!" Tessa covered her ears. "I will, but first you need to stop shouting and let these side effects wear off!"

"Fine!" Alec yelled and stormed up to his room.

He sent a quick text to Magnus and told him to meet him at Taki's first thing tomorrow morning. The war is coming close to an end, but not just yet.

I hope you liked the chapter! And I apologize about the sudden change in it. I just thought it sounded like a good idea! Alec verses Magnus! I'm so excited. So, I feel bad about complaining about not getting enough votes before. But now I need your new votes! Who do you want to win the prank war now? Alec or Magnus?
