Alec was sitting in a booth at Taki's still waiting for his late boyfriend to show up. He was in a darker corner with a half-finished glass of coffee in his hand. Alec heard the bell of the door go off and looked over to see his surprisingly, non-flamboyant boyfriend sit across from him. Alec raised one eyebrow when he looked at him and laughed.
"I like your new look." Alec gestured to his colorless clothes.
"I'd like to see your closet be swapped out with black and grey clothing, or have glitter in your hair and wear makeup." Magnus smirked.
"Ew…" Alec frowned. "No way…"
Magnus put his hand over his chest mockingly. "I'm offended…" Magnus then laughed with a mile.
"You look good in glitter and bright colors." Alec fixed his mistake. "It just would work for me." Alec gestured at him black clothes. "I prefer darker, plan clothes instead of bright, complex, glittery clothes."
"Sure…" Magnus rolled his eyes and took a drink from Alec's coffee. "So. We now need to discuss the prank war."
"Yeah," Alec snatched his coffee back from Magnus. "Obviously we have no more team members. So I just thought we should be on our own. I mean, it's pretty unfair you're a warlock and I'm just a shadow hunter. So," Alec spoke. "You, are not allowed to use your powers anymore. And all pranks or spells that are still at the houses, will be taken away."
"That sounds fair." Magnus said after thinking for a moment. "Sure, let's do it. But you need to consult with Tessa on getting my damn flat fixed. You have no clue on how annoying it is to have to wear summer clothes in one room, and winter clothes in a different room. It's the most frustrating thing you have done besides taking away my babies?"
"Your babies?" Alec looked confused.
"My clothes and my glitter!" Magnus yelled. "Maryse didn't know why the hell I was so upset, but she didn't get it. It's like taking away someone's children, but for me, its clothes and glitter!" Magnus sighed frustrated at Alec's judgmental look. "You just don't understand. It would be like if I took away your weapons or gear. It was one of the worse moments of my life!"
Alec just started giggling when Magnus was done with his rant, which made Magnus even angrier, and Alec wound up having to calm him down before he walked out of the shop on him. Magnus and Alec decided to spend a little bit more time together before they split up.
Alec soon headed back to the Institute, and Magnus headed back to his flat.
Alec ran up the front steps of the Institute in excitement. He was quite nervous about this. Magnus was very sneaky when it came to pranking, and he was good at not getting caught. He could barely prank Magnus without getting caught.
Alec was surprised to see Maryse and Tessa in the living room when he got inside. I guess it's not a surprise his mom was there, but he didn't expect Tessa to stay.
"Hi Alec!" Tessa greeted with a warming smile.
"Hey…" Alec waved at her awkwardly.
"Did Magnus agree to continue the prank war just between you and him?" Maryse questioned him.
"Yeah, I mean it wasn't much of a surprise that he accepted it." Alec shrugged sitting at the bar next to Tessa.
"I guess…" Maryse responded. "Good luck."
"Thanks." Alec laughed.
"Did you tell Magnus to stop by the Institute?" Tessa asked suddenly, with a smirk playing on her lips.
Alec already took that as a sign that he should probably go and see what destruction Magnus has brought upon the Institute. Alec ran up to his room anxiously and once he opened his door his was shocked. The walls of his room were bright pink and the carpet was purple. There was glitter on at least every knick-knack and piece of furniture there was. And Alec nearly fainted when he reached his closet.
Like Alec had done to Magnus, he replaced all of his bright sparkling clothing with dark plain clothing. But instead it was switched around. There wasn't one piece of black clothing, or something without glitter. "Noooo!" Alec screamed, causing his mother to dart up the stairs and check on him.
"What's wrong, Alec?" She asked nervously. "Are you okay?"
"No." Alec pouted. "Look at what he's done to my room. And my closet! I can't wear this, what am I going to do?"
Maryse just shook her head with a sigh and walked out the door. Alec sat on his bed with his head in his hands, very upset with Magnus. The only way he knew how to deal with this was of course, was to prank back.
Alec approached the building where Magnus' flat was. Alec got in through one of the windows in the bathroom. It was dark out due to it being past mid-night. He walked out of the bathroom and peered around the corner of the hallway into the living room where Magnus was asleep on the couch soundlessly.
Alec walked as quietly as he could to the kitchen and glanced at Magnus one last time before he closed the door behind him. Quickly, Alec got to work on his prank.
He filled the dishwasher in the kitchen that Magnus rarely used with as much dish soap as possible. He looked out in the living room again where Magnus was still peacefully asleep. Alec was lucky enough to get to his flat with Magnus asleep, let alone have him stay asleep the whole time. At least he hoped.
Alec turned on the dishwasher and left Magnus' house through one of the kitchen windows. Magnus was left alone with a prank to soon show.
Magnus hadn't planned on falling asleep on the couch. He figured Alec would probably seek out vengeance due to the little prank he left in Alec's room before he met him at Taki's.
Magnus was relieved to get home and not be ambushed by the winter storm that would happen in his living room. Or the desert heat of his kitchen. He was watching TV as usual when he soon fell asleep on the couch at about eleven.
Two hours later, Magnus woke up, planning on finally heading to his room. He sat up, stretching and popping the kinks in his back before standing up and heading to his room.
Magnus eyes adjusted to something sparkling from the kitchen doorway. "What?" Magnus mumbled to himself. He walked closer to the kitchen door, where there was a small sparkling light under the door. He had a feeling Alec had something to do with this. But he wasn't sure what he was dealing with in general.
When Magnus opened the door to the kitchen, Bubbles soon poured out of the doorway and flooded the floor of the living room. Every inch of the living room floor was soaked in bubbles, and the kitchen was filled at least five feet high with bubbles.
"Seriously?" Magnus complained to no one in particular before walking into the kitchen and submerging himself into the pool of bubbles. He's clothes were getting slightly wet, due to all of the bubbles that flooded the entire room.
He reached the dish washer and slammed the off button with his fist in anger, causing the bubbles to stop flooding out of the dishwasher and into the room. Magnus sulked back to his room for a change of clothes, and letting some sleep help get a new plan on his mind.
Hope you enjoyed the new chapter! And don't forget to vote for who you want to win! ;D
