Chapter 16

Once Lucy had finished talking to her friends, they all put their attention back on the fights. It was the last one of the day and it was Rave vs. Betty (Mermaid Heel).

"Now I can see his magic." Lucy thought. Once the battle began, Beth started the fight by sending multiple flying carrots at him with her vegetable magic. (A/N: Thanks to QueenFandom and Amethystfairy1. Finally got to changing it.)

"WATER DRAGON: ROAR!" Rave chanted.

A spiral of water was created and repelled the carrots and hit Betty in the process, causing her to lose consciousness.

The entire were all surprised that Rave had the same magic as Lucy, well, almost everyone in the arena.

"YOU HAVE TO BE KIDDING ME!? THAT FREAK USES MY MAGIC?!" Lucy thought with a vain on her forehead as she was unconsciously gripping the ledge and placing one leg on it, looking like she was ready to jump into the ring. Sting and Rogue both had to hold her back from doing so.

"Wow! Rave appears to have the same magic as Lucy from Saber Tooth!" Chapati announced.

"And ironically, the two can't stand each other." Yajima said.

"I think it's cute that he uses her magic." said Jenny.

"Hey, that Blondie uses my magic! Not the other way around!" Rave shouted.

"What!?" Lucy yelled, finally breaking form her two restrainers and running out to the field to be right in front of Rave.

"No way! I learnt my magic from an actual dragon!" shouted Lucy.

"Well so did I!" Rave shouted back.

"How is that possible!? There's only one water dragon left, and he's with me!" yelled Lucy.

"That's impossible! He left me a long time ago and I've been searching since!" yelled Rave.

"Fine! You don't believe me, here!" Lucy said as she took out her key.

"OPEN GATE OF THE WATER DRAGON: SUIRO!" Lucy chanted. Blue mist appeared, and when it vanished, there stood Suirō.

"Lucy, it's been a- Rave! It's you!" Suirō said rushing over to said person, leaving Lucy dumb-founded.

"Suirō! It's you! It's been so long!" Rave said as the two hugged each other and patted each other on the back. As the two of them began to chat, Lucy just in place with an eye twitch.

"Suirō!" Lucy called out. Suirō flinched and nervously turned around to see an angry Lucy walking towards him.

"How do you know this guy? I thought you were supposed to a celestial spirit." Lucy said as she pointed at Suirō.

"Uh, well-" said Suirō nervously.

"What are you doing with this chick? Weren't you supposed to be my dragon?" said Rave.

"Haha, you see-" Suirō said

"He's not a real dragon, he's my celestial spirit!" Lucy yelled at Rave.

"Well he's not your celestial spirit, he's my dragon!" Rave shouted back.

"Um, guys?" Suirō whimpered.

"He's my friend! Not yours!" the two shouted at the same time.

"Suirō, who so you chose?!" they both shouted at him. Out of sheer nervousness, Suirō vanished again. It surprised them, but they both just glared at each other one last time.

"Blondie!"

"Old timer!"

Then they both stormed off back to their own teams. Everyone on each team had to calm them down since they both had a killing aura surrounding them. That was the end of the second day of the GMG.

At the moment, Lucy was standing on the balcony leaning on the railing on her elbows of the place they were staying at, which was once again the Crocus Gardens. She was wearing her cloak once again, but it more resembled a cape now, and cleaned up her hair that now had a bobbed look. (A/N: Like Wendy's hair now in the Manga.)

The wind blew past her and also blowing her cloak as well. She was staring off into the horizon and all of the many stars in the sky. But, her expression soon became a pained and upset one and she began to look at the ground below the balcony.

"Mom, why didn't you tell me sooner?" Lucy murmured to herself. Lucy then gained a sad smile, still staring at the ground below.

"So the only family I have left is the most hated/feared man in Earthland's history. Not to mention I have no idea where he is since the that whole Acnologia thing." Lucy thought.

As she was ran those thoughts through her head and she was spaced out, she didn't notice a certain blunette and dragon slayer come out onto the balcony as well.

"Hey Lucy." Juvia and Sting both called out. They got no response, so they both walked closer to Lucy.

"Hey, Lucy? You ok?" Juvia asked, slightly shaking her friend's shoulder. That was able to bring Lucy back to reality.

"Oh. Hi guys." said Lucy.

"What's wrong? Something seems to be upsetting you." said Juvia. Lucy let out a loud sigh and went back to staring tat the horizon.

"Have you guys ever gotten the feeling that...that someone or something is missing in your life?" Lucy asked. She heard both of her friends grunt in agreement, so she let out a small laugh and made her head look up to the sky with a sad smile still on her face.

"So that means you guys under stand what I'm going through, right?" said Lucy as she looked at the stars.

"Your talking about what Makarov said aren't you?" Sting said for clarity. Lucy turned to face the two of them.

"Yeah, but I won't bother you two with it. Remember what I said? I swore I would never complain again." Lucy said with her best smile.

"Alright, but if you need anything come to us, got it?" said Sting. Lucy simply nodded and both Juvia and Sting left Lucy alone on the balcony once again. Lucy looked over her shoulder one more time, looking out at the horizon.

"Once the games are over, I'm coming after you, Zeref." Lucy thought with determination in her eyes.
