Chapter 25
*In the Infirmary*
As Lucy fought with Akuma, Juvia did as Lucy asked and brought all of their friends to the infirmary. She was just bringing in Ryu.
"Cheria, how are they doing?" Juvia asked. After bringing in Sting, Juvia got Cheria to come and help heal them.
"Well, they're all still out cold, but they're all alright. Place the last one on this bed and I'll get to work." Cheria said, slightly out of breath. Before she got the chance to start healing Ryu, the door suddenly flung open.
"Cheria! Juvia!" a familiar voice cried. When the two turned around, they saw Wendy standing in the doorway.
"Wendy!" said Cheria joyfully, but Juvia got in front of Cheria before she could do anything.
"You! What do you want!?" Juvia growled. Wendy took a step back in fear from Juvia, but quickly stepped forward again.
"Look, Juvia, I know we're not good enough terms to be friends, but please, just let me help heal them. That's my job and it's the least I can do." Wendy said.
Juvia still glared at Wendy, but she knew that having her friends healed was the most important thing right now and was the most she could do for Lucy at a time like this, so she stopped glaring at Wendy.
"Go ahead, but don't think this means anything." said Juvia, stepping aside. Wendy's face brightened and she ran over to help Cheria. As the two of them were healing Ryu, Sting let a groan and began to sit up.
"Oh, Sting. You're awake." Juvia said.
"Y-yeah, but what...Lucy! Where is she!?" Sting asked.
"Right now she's fighting Akuma." answered Juvia. Right after that they all heard a faint blood curdling shriek echoing down the hall. It was easy to recognize who the scream belonged to.
"LUCY!" they both cried.
*Back on the field*
As that was happening, Akuma was holding Lucy by her entire right arm above the arena. Lucy's entire body was practically cover in blood. Her clothes were all torn up and stained with blood as well. She had gashes, bruises, cut, and bumps all over her body. Lucy had to bite her lip to stop herself from screaming every second.
"Hehe. Now then, are you ready to give in yet?" Akuma questioned, raising Lucy a little. Lucy was just barely able to left her head high enough to look the demon right in the eye.
"G-go to hell." Lucy choked out. Akuma's expression turned into a sneer and she then tightened her grip on Lucy's arm, which caused Lucy much pain.
"AAGGHH!" Lucy screamed. She thrashed her legs around, but it wasn't helping. Lucy placed her left hand on her shoulder, only to feel blood.
"I could hear bones crack on that one." Akuma said mockingly.
"...This...this is nothing...I've...been through worse..." said Lucy, hiding her eyes with her bangs. That statement puzzled Akuma.
"Lucy!" they heard someone shout. They both looked in the direction of the voice to see Sting and Juvia running in their direction.
"J-Juvia...Sting..." Lucy murmured.
"Ha. Looks like they think they can save you. How loyal, especially after nearly getting killed by you." said Akuma. Lucy could only glare at Akuma.
"Lucy! Dammit! Let go of her!" yelled Juvia.
"WHITE DRAGON: ROAR!" Sting shouted. A ray of light was sent at Akuma. It hit Akuma right in the eye.
"Ah!" Akuma cried. That caused Akuma to let go of Lucy's arm. Lucy began to fall back down to the ground.
"Lucy!" Sting cried. He ran as fast as he could and was luckily able to catch Lucy right before she hit the ground by skidding under where she would've landed.
"Lucy, are you alright?" Sting said as he cradled her in his arms.
His eyes immediately widen when he saw all of her injuries, mainly her right arm. Thanks to her magic, it wasn't as bad as it could've been, but it still looked pretty gruesome. It was slightly bending the other way and it was soaked in blood.
"I...could be better..." Lucy whispered.
"This is insane! Why hasn't anyone tried to help you!?" Juvia cried.
"Haha. Haven't you all noticed it yet?" Akuma chuckled.
All three of them had confused looks on their faces, but all they had to do was look around, and their wonders were answered. They all appeared to be surrounded by darkness.
"The moment I transformed, the entire ring was engulfed in my void. No one can hear or see us and same goes for them. And no one should be able to get in or out, so I'm still curious how your two friends got in." said Akuma.
What Akuma said was true. Outside of the ring, everyone saw a gigantic black sphere.
"I-I don't know what just happened! First, Saitan's Light began to gang up on Lucy, then Lucy transformed, an now a giant dome is covering the ring!" Chapati exclaimed.
"I have a bad feeling about this." said Yajima.
"This is so freaky and cool at the same time!" Jason shouted.
"Dammit! We have to try and help Lucy!" Natsu shouted.
"I agree. I feel a massive magic power coming from inside there while Lucy's magical power is dropping." said Erza.
"Then let's move!" Gray declared. So, everyone of Fairy Tail jumped over their balcony and began to try and break through the sphere.
"Crap. That means we're all on our own." Juvia cursed.
"Right." said Sting as he stood up, still holding Lucy in his arms.
"N-no." Lucy choked out. They both put their attention Lucy as she tried to push herself off of Sting's arm. She struggled, but she was able to get back on her feet, slightly wobbly.
"She's mine. I don't want you guys to fight her unless I can't." said Lucy, with a determined look in her eye.
"Lucy, you can't be serious!" Sting exclaimed.
"You're in no condition to fight, not to mention your right arm is practically shattered!" Juvia also exclaimed. Lucy walked, or more like limped, past her two worried friends and stood before Akuma.
"Hey! Tell me! What do you know about Zeref and my mother!?" Lucy shouted as loud as she could. Silent fell within the sphere, until Akuma let out an evil chuckle.
"I know all there is to know about your blood line. But, if you want my knowledge of them, you must defeat me." said Akuma.
Lucy began to clench her fist tightly and grit her teeth. Her right arm slowly began to enveloped in golden light, like a long sleeve. Soon, her entire arm was cover in light, now she could move her arm normally.
"If that's the case..." Lucy murmured. She then snapped her head up.
"Then I will defeat you!" cried Lucy, as she ran towards Akuma once again.
