Chapter 31

*Crocus Gardens*

At the moment was sitting in her room alone, having been bandaged up by the medics, even though her wounds would just heal themselves slowly. It was already night time, but she was just sitting in her room in the dark.

"I know I wanted to know the truth, but still..." Lucy murmured to herself. Her thoughts were soon broken when she heard someone knock on her door.

"Lucy, it's us. Can we come in?" said Juvia.

"Sure." Lucy said loud enough for them to hear. Juvia, Sting, Rogue, and Ryu all came into Lucy's room. Juvia was the first to sit down next to Lucy.

"So, how are you feeling?" asked Juvia.

"How do you think I'm doing? I found out my mom died for me and that she really did kill her own mother and ruined her own father's life. And just to top it all off, I ended up killing four people and hurting you guys." said Lucy solemnly.

All of Lucy's friends all had sad and sympathetic looks on their faces from hearing that. They all knew Lucy had been through a lot for one person to deal with. Soon, Sting also sat down beside Lucy and put one arm over her shoulder.

"Don't worry about that now. Remember, we still have one day of the games left." said Sting.

"And you have friends who are by your side." Rogue added with a warm smile. Lucy looked up and had a sad smile on her face. She knew they were right.

"Heh. Thanks guys, and Ryu." Lucy said, grabbing her friend's attention. Lucy got up and walked over to him.

"How about after the games, you join Saber Tooth?" Lucy suggested.

"What!? But, I caused you so much trouble." said Ryu sadly.

Lucy got a small smile on her face and she wrapped her arms around Ryu's waist. Ryu was surprised by this and his face quickly turned a deep shade of red. Luckily his face was over Lucy's shoulder, so she couldn't tell.

"You're one of my closest friends. I wouldn't have it any other way." said Lucy into his ear.

"R-right." said Ryu as he hesitantly nodded head. Lucy then stopped hugging Ryu to give him a warm smile. While that was happening, Rogue and Juvia were trying to hold back a jealous Sting.

"Alright everyone, it's time to get some sleep. We have one more day left." said Lucy.

(TIMESKIP...NEXT DAY)

Today was the last day of the Grand Magic Games and all of the teams were in different parts of the town, just like last time. Lucy was now wearing the same outfit she had on when she first trained with Suirō and so did Juvia while everyone else was wearing the same things.

"Well, today's the last day. Let's try and do our best you guys." said Lucy.

"And if we run into anyone from Fairy Tail?" asked Juvia. Lucy just smirked.

"Beat the hell out of them." Lucy answered.

"Right!" they all said.

"Welcome to the last day of the Grand Magic Games!" Chapati announced.

"And we'd like to introduce our special guest, Mato." said Yajima.

"I will be judging the games from here, kabo." said Mato.

"The rules of the final event are just like last year's. When someone takes out a member of a team, they earn one point. And if you take out the leader, your team gains five points." Chapati explained.

"Once I say go, you may begin, kabo. On your mark...get set...GO!" Mato cheered.

All of the teams' members took off in different directions. Fights quickly began to break out all over town. Fairy Tail's team took out the Tri-men, Quatro Cerberus took out Ichiya and Jenny, so Blue Pegasus was out. Four members Quatro Cerberus was then taken out by Black Knights, but their leader, Bacchus, was taken out by Fairy Tail. Causing Quatro Cerberus to be out.

Eventually, Kagura had run into Erza and the two quickly started a fight. Meanwhile, Sen had run into Rogue. They also began a fight and they both were equally matched. Rave had taken three Mermaid Heel members, so only Milliana was running around somewhere.

"Damn. Fights are starting left and right. Even Rogue has started to fight, I hope he stays safe. It won't be long until it's my turn to fight." Juvia thought.

And almost on cue, after turning a corner, Juvia had come face to face with Gray. The two could only blankly stare at each other. After a few moments, Juvia's shocked expression turned to one of rage. She clenched her fists and grit her teeth.

"Fullbuster." Juvia growled with venom in her voice.

"J-Juvia." Gray stuttered.

"Oh my goodness! It seems that Juvia of Saber Tooth has run into Gray of Fairy Tail." Chapati announced.

"Oh ho. Water vs. Ice. This should be entertaining." said Yajima.

"This will be intense, kabo." said Mato.

The crowd was in an uproar of excitement. As that was being announced, Lucy herself quickly saw one of the lacrima screens as she was running through the town. She was surprised to that Juvia and Gray were about to face off right off the bat.

"Juvia!" Lucy said in a surprised tone. She quickly calmed down.

"Juvia, I know you can beat him." Lucy thought as she stared at the ground. She put her hand close to her heart and snapped her face back up.

"Beat him, Juvia!" Lucy said confidently.
