~Cassie's p.o.v.~

"Merlin! There she is! She's absolutely amazing!" James had been rambling on about that Quidditch player since the minute we stepped into the stand. From the corner of my eye I saw Lily roll her eyes and scoff.

"She's not that great." She mumbled. I smirked at her.

"What was that Lils?" She blushed and looked away, causing me to laugh. James was right, the game was amazing, but I couldn't help looking over my shoulder every so often. Something just didn't feel right, like something bad was going to happen.

I couldn't hear anything over the roaring of the crowd. By the amount of noise James was making I could tell that his team won, but I paid no attention to any of it. I knew it was only a matter of time before he found me. My eyes scanned around my friends, Sirius cast me a worried look. 'Are you okay?' He mouth to me. I forced myself to smile and nodded in his direction. I quickly turned around and hurried away from the crowded area. I ran all the way back to our tent and immediately started packing my bags. I thought about leaving a note for the others, it wasn't fair to them for my leaving so suddenly again. This didn't concern them, though; honestly it would be better if they didn't know anything. I didn't want to get them in any more trouble they're already going to get in for coming with me.

I threw my bag over my shoulder and turned around to leave but couldn't. I wasn't alone in the tent. "Dad," I whispered.

He showed no emotion like usual. "Cassandra," he said stiffly, "It's a good thing you're already packed, we're leaving now." I clutched my bag harder and didn't move.

I closed my eyes and took a deep breath, thinking of Sirius, and all the times he told me to fight back. "No, Dad, I'm not going with you." I opened my eyes again and looked at him; I could tell he was losing his patience with me.

"This is no time for your childish games, Cassandra, your mother and I are tired of this." I dropped my bag to the floor and crossed my arms over my chest.

"Is that all this is to you? A childish game? I'm not the one playing a game here!" I picked my bag back up and shoved past him.

He grabbed my arm hard to stop me. "If you try to leave, Cassandra, you'll regret it." I gave him a fixed look.

"You have nothing else to hurt me with." He smirked.

"That doesn't mean I can't hurt your new little friends." My breath caught it my throat. "Ah yes, I wonder how Mr. and Mrs. Potter would feel to find out I charged their son with the kidnapping of my daughter? What if I made sure that every single person in London knew of Mr. Lupin's condition, it would be very hard for him to get a job don't you think? Or maybe I could make it so that the parents of that filthy new Mudblood of yours lost their jobs? I can make many things happen, Cassandra, and you know better than to think I'm bluffing. Look me in the eye and tell me you're coming back with me and nothing will happen to your friends, if you defy me, I will make no such promises."

I stood there, glaring at him. I had known ever since this tripped started that it would end badly. I turned my head to look away from him. "And if I go? They'll be safe?" I turned my head back to see him give one short nod.

"Yes, I give you my word."

I took one deep breath and held my head high. "Fine, I'll go with you." I could see the corner of his mouth curl up just a bit. He won. And we both knew it.

~Third person p.o.v.~

"James!" He froze as soon as her heard his name, the others stopped and stared at him as he slowly turned.

"Yes, Mum?" He asked, trying to look as innocent as possible. His parents stood there, glaring at him.

"Don't think you're getting out of this one James. As soon as we get home, your broom and everything else you care about is getting locked away for the end of the summer!" At the sound of Sirius' laughter they turned to him. "And don't think you're getting off any easier, Sirius Black." He looked down, defeated.

"Yes, Mum." Dorea nodded and turned to the other two boys.

"Remus, Peter, I shall be owling your parents tonight. As for the rest of, whom I have never seen in my life, I suggest you head straight home, and tell your parents the truth of where you've been so that they can decide on whatever punishment they seem fit." The whole group of teenagers just nodded and looked at their feet, some of them never have been scolded by Dorea Potter before, and it was something they never wanted to go through again.

"Can't we at least find our friend, Cassie, first though, Mum?" James asked. Dorea sighed and looked at him.

"I think it would be best if you just forget about her, James. She is with her father right now and probably will be headed straight back to the states soon after. I may not like that man, but I have no right in telling his how he raises his children. The best that we can hope for is that she finds her own way out soon." She almost looked guilty. "Come on, we need to get home."

They all nodded and followed along, but Sirius couldn't help the feeling in his stomach. He hoped that Cassie would be alright; and he hoped that they would get to meet again.
