Thank you to Blackwing Fray the Huntress and 17stepsdown, for reviewing the previous chapter, I really appreciate the support! ^_^

And I promise, the plot will be getting more interesting in this and more so in the next chapter. And since it's summer, I will hopefully be able to update at least one of my stories every week or every two weeks. ^_^

. . . . .

Deidara was once again in a classroom with his leg chained to the desk.

"Oh great, I'm here again un…." He groaned facepalming onto the desk.

"Of course you are, you do have ten hours of detention after all," he heard a familiar voice say.

"So what, am I just supposed to sit here?" he sighed.

"Of course not, you will be writing me a 3000 word essay on why one should show elders with proper respect," she said. A stack of papers and a pencil suddenly appeared in front of the blonde. He opened his mouth to protest, but stopped when the woman turned to face him with an icy glare, the ruler from earlier tightly clutched in her hand.

"Okay, fine," Deidara said. If I try to escape she might just knock me out the window again. I guess I'll just have to put up with this until I wake up from this dream again… he thought, beginning to boredly draw on the paper he was supposed to be writing an essay on.

"That's not writing!" the teacher snapped, whacking him over the head with her ruler. Grumbling darkly under his breath, the blonde began to actually write as the crazy woman stared at him the whole time. After a few minutes the teacher suddenly stormed up to him, grabbed his shoulders, and threw him out of the desk.

Deidara's eyes snapped open and he glared at the redhead standing next to him.

"Why did you throw me out of my bed un?"

"It was time to wake up and you took too long. You know I hate waiting."

"…"

"Come on, it's time for breakfast," Sasori said, gesturing for his partner to follow him. As Deidara stood up to follow, he stumbled a bit, suddenly feeling a little dizzy.

"It's probably just a side effect of the medicine," the puppetmaster answered his questioning gaze.

Okay un," he said, staggering after his partner to the kitchen. Once they reached the kitchen table he sunk into the chair next to Sasori. The only other members sitting there were Kisame, Itachi, and the leader. Konan was at the stove making omelets and everyone else was on a mission. Deidara silently glared across the table at Itachi who looked back with a bored stare. Eventually he had to stop though, as Konan had served their breakfast and he was hungry. As he was half-way through with his meal, the blonde suddenly felt tired again, which was strange since he just woke up.

"I'm done un…" he muttered, standing up and walking back to his room, stumbling a little bit on the way. He muffled a yawn as he opened the door then got back into bed. I hope I don't have any more of those crazy dreams…

And what seemed like only seconds after he fell asleep, he was rudely woken back up.

"Brat, why are you back in bed," Sasori snapped glaring down at the blonde as he sat up.

"What do you mean danna un?"

"You just got up a few minutes ago then came here after breakfast. Why are you sleeping again?" he growled.

"I didn't have breakfast un," he said, looking up at the redhead blankly. Sasori opened his mouth to shout at the blonde to stop being an idiot when a thought occurred to him.

Maybe he's getting short term memory loss from the medicine. Speaking of which…

"Brat, how are your hands doing?"

"Not much better un," he answered, showing him his palmmouths, which happened to be drooling in a very disgusting way.

The medicine should have worked be now, he thought, his frown deepening. Maybe I should start thinking of a new way to cure this. Sasori sighed before walking over to his desk to work on one of his puppets while he thought of a way to cure his partner's strange sickness.

"Danna, why isn't that medicine working yet un?" the blonde asked.

"I'm not sure. Now be quiet while I try and think of some other way to fix your hands."

"Fine un…" Deidara laid back down, deciding to go back to sleep. Sasori looked down at the puppet in front of him and began to silently work while he wracked his brain for all of the medical knowledge he had. Being a poison master, the redhead did know quite a bit about medicine. But he'd never dealt with anything like his partner's problem before. So far, normal medicine for colds and such haven't worked. But what else was there that could maybe have some good results in curing Deidara's hands? Actually, there was one thing that he knew about, but it would take a lot of traveling to attain it. And he wasn't sure if Deidara would be up to making the trip with both his hand's strange sickness and the side effects from the medicine they gave him earlier. But it seemed to be the only way.

"Well. It looks like we're going to Suna. I'll just have to inform leader-san…" Sasori mumbled getting up from his desk and leaving the room. Walking up to the leader's door, he knocked first, then went in when the leader said he could.

"What is it Sasori?" he asked.

"You know about Deidara's hand's sickness..?"

"Yes, continue."

"Well, the medicine that Kakuzu and I gave him earlier isn't working. And the only other cure I can think of is in Suna. May I travel there with Deidara to fix his hands?" he asked. The leader seemed to think about it for a moment before answering.

"Yes, you can leave tomorrow. You may go now," he said. Giving a slight bow, Sasori left the room and went back to his own. I might as well get some work done on my puppets before we leave, he thought, sitting back down at his desk.

. . . . .

Deidara slept until the next morning, when he was woken up by Sasori.

"Danna, what is it un?" he grumbled, trying to hide under his covers.

"Get up brat, we're going somewhere. I already packed you a bag so you just need to get up," the redhead said, handing him the bag.

"Fine un," he sighed, dragging himself out of bed and following Sasori to the base's exit.

"So where are we going un?" he asked, as they exited the base and began to walk down the path leading away from the building.

"To Suna."

"But why un?"

"That's where the cure to your sickness is."

. . . . .

I know, it's short…. But it felt best to end it off here so yeah… What did you think of it? Good or bad? Please review and tell me, constructive criticism is welcome. And thanks for reading! ^_^
