Hey guys, I began this chapter a while ago but then lost motivation to write after I got stuck on it a few times. But recently I haven't felt good, I think I'm getting sick, and that gave me inspiration for this for some reason… So, I hope you like it! ^_^

"Danna, are we even anywhere near Suna yet un?" Deidara whined as he trudged behind Sasori through the forest.

"No brat, we've only been walking for two hours, it takes at least two to three days to reach Suna," Sasori sighed. He wasn't even telling his partner that Suna wasn't their final destination. He knew that would only cause him to complain even more.

"But danna, that's so long un!" the blonde said, crossing his arms over his chest.

"I don't care brat, now shut up!"

"You're so mean to me un!" the bomber suddenly snapped, stopping. His fists were clenched at his sides as he stomped his foot angrily.

"Brat, come on," Sasori growled, turning to face his irritating partner, his arms crossed over his chest.

"No un, not until you stop being so mean to me un!" he shouted, actually looking genuinely hurt.

"Fine, just calm down," he said, eyeing his partner cautiously. Over the past two hours, the blonde had been having mood swings like these as another side effect from that medicine. And none of the side-effects showed signs of wearing off anytime soon.

"Okay danna," Deidara said, grinning, and started following his partner again. Sasori really didn't want to have to deal with this at all, and especially not for the next few days. They were only going to Suna to get information. The cure for Deidara's hands was actually a plant that was supposedly a panacea for sickness, but it could only grow in specific conditions. The plant was only present in a few locations in The Land of Wind's deserts and not many people knew of those locations. Sasori had only heard of the plant's existence, but never where it specifically resided. So they'd have to gather information about where it was before setting out into the desert once again to find it.

"Hey danna," Deidara spoke up again.

"What?" Sasori sighed. All he wanted was peace and quiet but his partner would never understand that. He never did in the past and probably wouldn't now either.

"Why is the Land of Wind so far away un?" he asked, tilting his head to the side slightly.

"Because it is," Sasori grumbled.

"But why un?" the blonde urged.

"Quit asking these stupid questions brat," Sasori said in a sharp tone.

"I'm sorry un…" Deidara mumbled, looking down.

"Just be quiet for a little while," the puppetmaster said, glancing back at his partner. Sure, the blonde was usually a volatile person on a normal basis but these mood swings were surprisingly hard for Sasori to get used to. Sure, he could just ignore them, it wasn't like his mood swings were really doing any harm, but they could be very annoying. And when it came to annoying things like Deidara, he had a short temper. But now, instead of yelling at him like usual, he actually had to be nice, otherwise the mood swings would only get worse and all the more annoying. It wasn't that he hated the blonde, but he didn't like being openly kind to him either. It made him look weak and just because he cared didn't mean that anyone had to actually know so.

"Danna un?" Deidara said quietly from behind his partner.

"Yes brat?" Sasori sighed, turning to look at his partner who had stopped walking.

"I feel kinda dizzy un," he mumbled, placing a hand to his head.

"Fine, we'll take a short break but then we have to keep moving, okay?" Sasori said, settling down against one of the many trees surrounding them.

"Okay un," Deidara said, taking a seat next to his partner. Deidara frowned down at his handmouth as it started hacking and coughed up a gross ball of spit next to him.

"Didn't I tell you to stop being disgusting?" he hissed, glaring at the mouth.

"Brat, who are you talking to?" Sasori asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Uhh, no one un," Deidara answered.

"Well. Come on, it's time to go," the redhead said, standing up.

"But danna, we've only stopped for five minutes un," Deidara whined.

"I told you we would have a short break, now come on." Deidara sighed, getting up and following behind Sasori. They were now entering the desert they had to cross to reach Suna. And as usual, it only took Deidara a few minutes to start complaining again.

"Danna, it is so hot un…" he groaned, wiping the sweat off his forehead onto the sleeve of his cloak.

"This is the desert brat," Sasori said, rolling his eyes.

"Shut up un…" Deidara muttered. Deidara honestly felt awful. He dizzy still and he also felt pretty tired, but he knew Sasori wouldn't stop. And his handmouths kept drooling everywhere which was really disgusting. He stumbled a bit trying to keep up with Sasori's brisk pace but caught himself before he fell down.

He tried shaking his head to dispel his feeling of dizziness but only ended up making his forming headache worse.

"Danna, I really don't feel good un," he said quietly, once again wiping some sweat from his forehead.

"Suck it up brat, we need to get to Suna as quickly as we can," Sasori said, not even sparing his partner a glance. Deidara frowned but didn't really have the energy to argue with his partner at the moment. As he looked ahead, Deidara suddenly noticed something strange looking on the horizon. As they got closer, he could vaguely make out the shape of a person. He thought maybe they should be a bit more cautious, but since Sasori seemed to either not notice the person, or not care, he figured that they probably weren't much of a threat. But the closer they got the more familiar the person became. It was an old woman. Her gray hair was pulled back into a low ponytail and she had half-circle glasses perched on the edge of her nose. Hmmm, where do I- it's her! Deidara thought, his eyes widening.

"Danna we have to stop! I don't want to get near her un!" he hissed, pointing at the woman who was quickly getting closer to the two shinobi.

"Who are you talking about?" he asked.

"It's her danna! That creepy teacher lady in my dreams who tried to kill me un!" he whispered.

"Brat, no one is there," he said, giving Deidara a flat look.

"Yes there is un! I can see her, she's right there!" the blonde exclaimed, becoming frustrated as the woman was now only about ten meters away from them.

"Brat, no one is-" he paused and then sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose in frustration. "Of course…." He muttered, his eyes narrowing.

"What is it un?" Deidara asked.

"She's not real brat, your just hallucinating," Sasori explained.

"Wha- but why?" he asked, frowning.

"It's a side-effect from the medicine, but the heat probably has something to do with it too."

"Oh un…" the blonde sighed as they began to walk again. And even if he now knew that she was not real he couldn't help but tense as they passed her up. It didn't help that he could hear her following him.

"You know, you never completed all your hours of detention for being such a bad student," she snapped, whacking him over the head with a ruler.

"And you also never came to class!" another whack, this time to his side.

"And-"he wanted to tell her to stop, but he realized how crazy that would look considering she was just a hallucination. But if she was a hallucination, then how come he could still feel it when she hit him with that ruler?

"You're not even listening to me; that's another hour of detention!" The woman was beginning to make his headache worse.

"Hey, you-"

"Cut it out un!" he finally snapped.

"No! Bad students must be punished!"

"I'm not even a student un!"

"Don't you dare use that tone of voice with me young man!"

"I'll use whatever tone I want to un!"

"That's it! You now have ten hours of detention."

"No I-"

"Brat, quit talking to your imaginary friend and speed up," Sasori snapped.

"She's not my friend un," Deidara grumbled, jogging a bit to catch up with Sasori.

"Eleven hours."

"Just leave me alone you crazy old lady un!"

"Brat, I don't like to be kept waiting!"

I can't win, can I?

I know a bit short, but I'm tired and I still wanted to post something, so here it is. Hope you liked it and please review if you can! :)

Thanks for reading!

Also, pretty soon I'll be posting another one shot that I got the idea for during a school assembly. I'll probably try to get it out this week. ^_^
