See, I told you guys I'd get this one done quicker~ :D

There'll be one, maybe two, chapters after this one, so I hope you like it!

Sasori walked over to the plants and carefully removed one from the ground. Of course he couldn't just give it to Deidara like this though. Sasori took out the supplies he usually used to prepare his poisons and antidotes and began to prepare the medicine. He took out the parts that weren't needed and got the plant into a more edible form.

Finally, after around half an hour of work, he was finished. After picking up his supplies, he brought the medicine over to his partner, kneeling down in front of him.

"Hey brat, you need to wake up," he said, grabbing Deidara's shoulder and shaking him slightly. The blonde twitched a little but didn't wake up.

"Deidara get up, you need to take the medicine," he said, trying to remain patient. It wasn't the brat's fault exactly that Sasori had to wait, it was this sickness.

"Come on you brat, you know I hate to wait," he growled, shaking him a bit more roughly. Slowly, Deidara's eyes opened and he stared up at Sasori groggily.

"Here, take this," he said, placing the medicine in Deidara's hand. The blonde looked at it for a few seconds before swallowing it. Sasori handed him some water and took the canteen away once he'd finished drinking.

"So I'll get better now un?" Deidara asked.

"Yes. Now come on, let's get out of this cave," Sasori said, standing back up before helping his partner to his feet. Deidara swayed slightly but regained his balance and followed after Sasori out of the cavern and down the dark tunnel. They walked in silence until they'd made it out of the cave and back into the hot desert air.

"It'll be about a few days' trip, think you can handle it brat?" Sasori asked, pausing and glancing back at blonde.

"Of course un, I'll be fine," he smirked. Sasori nodded then continued to walk.

After only a few hours Deidara still felt as terrible as before he took the medicine. He was sweating profusely and felt absolutely exhausted and a bit lightheaded.

"Danna, can we take a quick break un?" he asked hopefully. The redhead looked back at him before nodding and coming to a stop.

"What's wrong brat?" he asked.

"Just… tired un…" he murmured, sitting down on the ground. He jumped a bit when he felt a cold hand press against his forehead. After a few seconds Sasori removed his hand and sighed quietly.

"The medicine takes a while to take effect so you'll still probably be feeling sick for the next few days," he told him.

"Oh… okay…" Deidara closed his eyes, feeling sleep begin to take over.

"Hmm…?" Deidara slowly opened his eyes and blearily looked up at the sky. It took a few more minutes of coming to his senses to realize it was now night time. He let out a startled cry, shooting up to a sitting position before cringing as his head throbbed in pain and he fell over on his side.

"Calm down brat…" Sasori muttered, helping him settle back down and fixing the blanket back on him that had fallen off when he sat up.

"Sorry danna… I didn't even notice I'd fallen asleep."

"Just go back to sleep. I'll wake you up in the morning."

Deidara groggily sat up when Sasori woke him up in the morning. When the redhead had said morning, he didn't think he'd meant before sunrise. He unsteadily got onto his feet, tiredly staggering after his partner.

"Just let me know when you need to take a break, okay?" Sasori said, looking back at him briefly before looking forward again.

"Un," Deidara replied, rubbing the sleep from his eyes. Honestly, he wanted to take a break right now. His headache hadn't subsided that much in the time he'd been asleep and for some reason, despite being in a desert, he felt so cold. Cold enough to the point where he was shivering slightly.

But he didn't want to but he didn't want to bother his danna. After all, he knew how much Sasori hated to wait, and Deidara didn't want to make him wait because he was being weak. No, he could tough it out, he'd been through plenty situations worse than some simple cold. Deidara let out a quiet sigh, reaching a hand up and rubbing the sweat off his forehead. 'I'll be fine, this is nothing,' he told himself, smirking slightly.

They had been walking for several hours now and Sasori was becoming a bit concerned for his partner. He was thinking of stopping, but that would mean they'd reach the base later and he hated to wait…. Besides, if Deidara really needed to stop he would have said something by now. 'But the brat can be pretty stubborn sometimes….'

"Hey brat, do you need to take a break?" he asked, glancing back at his partner.

"No… I'm fine un," he responded. Sasori sighed, but said nothing more. Deidara sure didn't look fine but, he wouldn't make him stop if the blonde said he was okay. He may be stupid, but Sasori didn't think he was so stupid that he would keep going when he truly needed a break.

"Well at least drink some water," he tossed the canteen back to the blonde. Deidara gave a small smile and gulped down some water before handing it back to Sasori.

"Thanks un."

Deidara felt awful. The headache had grown worse to the point where he now felt dizzy and he had to catch himself more than once from falling dace first to the ground. He had been grateful for the water he got about an hour ago, but already he was feeling thirsty again. Though he wasn't going to ask for any more, because he knew they only had a limited supply of the stuff considering they were in the desert.

But as the dizziness got worse he began to consider telling Sasori he needed a break. 'No, I'll be fine. I don't need to bother him.'

It had been at least seven hours that they'd been walking now and Sasori had grown more than just a little worried for his partner. He was about to just make the blonde take a break even if he insisted that he was fine when he heard a thump as if something fell down. Sasori looked behind him then curse under his breath. He turned around and knelt down where Deidara had collapsed onto the ground.

"Stupid brat, I thought I told you to let me know if you needed to stop."
