~Chapter 42~
-Sadie-
It's been raining non-stop since last night when Ara's parents left. Their literally canceling school tomorrow. I look over at the clock, 1 am. Good thing we don't have school. I look at the window, and see Winter blocking the view, her chin on her curled-up knees. She's sitting on the padded bench beneath the window.
"Can't sleep either?" I ask
"Oh, Sadie!" She jumps "I didn't realize you were awake."
"I just woke up a few minutes ago." I sit up "this rain is crazy."
"It is." She smiles at me "but I love the rain."
"I do too." I walk over and sit down like Winter is. I flash my torch in her face
"Hey!" She smiles jokingly and flashes her torch in my face
We both giggle
"You girls planning on going to her any time?" Poppy knocks and laughs a bit
"Yes, !" We say in unison and giggle
"Ok, girls!" She replies and walks away from the door
"Goodnight Winter!" I smile as I climb into bed
"Goodnight Sadie!" She replies as she crawls into her own bed
~Winter~
Even though it was raining like hell outside I had to run to school and grab the homework I forgot at the school.
And when I say run, I mean I sprinted for my life as if Hitler had come back from the dead and was chasing me.
As soon as I got into the building, I slowed down and walked to my locker. I placed my French notebook into my bag and sighed.
"Winter?" A voice ask,
I twirl around, Zander's there, his hair wet and his clothes damp "oh, god! Zander you scared me!"
"I'm sorry, I just been chilling out here waiting for the rain to die out abit so I could run back to Anubis, but apperently it hasn't." He shrugged "I've been here since like 8 am."
I look at my clock, it's 9:30 now. "Well good thing I brought a umbrella." I say, pull it out and open it "c'mon." I grab his arm and we go outside
We walk in silence before I bring up a conversation
"You know, I think Mia likes you." I look at him
"Mia?" He laughs "Mia thinks I'm a satin spawn in a football jersey."
"I'm pretty sure she thinks your a cute satin spawn in a football jersey." I smile
"Even if that was so, I still would go out with her." He replies "I'm too much in love with another girl."
"And who is that?" I ask and turn to face him
"You." He whispers and kisses me
It was a short kiss, but it was long enough for me to get the message
"You know, I guess I think your a cute satin spawn in a footbal jersey, too." I smile and giggle a bit
"Good job, really though, bravo." Someone says and starts to clap, we turn to see Connor approaching "so now you have to options, allow me to go and yell that your together, or not allow me to go and yell that your together. Either way, I'm going to do it."
"I mean, you might as well." Zander shrugs
"EVERYONE WINTER AND ZANDER ARE DATING!" Connor yells over and over again as he runs into the house
"Well, I guess we'd better go..." I laugh
"That's probably a good idea." He nods and laughs and we head into the house
A/N so I'm sorry I haven't updated in awhile i just have a ton of stories, from here to Wattpad and Im basically swamped with a lot so yeah, that's what's happening right now... But anyways...
