43. Make way for Millington

-Chapter 43-

~Ara~

Well, I guess we have a couple in Anubis house. Don't get me wrong, I love Winter and Zander, their my good friends, but I kinda wish it was me. But for right now, I'm just waiting anxiously for Amber to arrive, inside the house, looking at the window, with the rest of "Sibuna". I mean, it's 7 pm, the sun was setting, and I was getting nervous, until I saw Ambers white Fiat outside.

She gets out of her car and rushes inside

"Amber!" I smile and she hugs us all

"Now, c'mon, we've got a mystery to solve!" She smiles and whispers "Sibuna." She puts a hand over her eye and we all do the same

"Sibuna!"

"Trudy!" Amber yells "I'm gonna take the guys on a walk, okay?"

"Okay!" Poppy yells back from the kitchen "Trudy's doing laundry!"

Once she shuts the door she asks "you guys just need the most emotional time here for me, correct?"

"Correct." Elliot nods

"Let's go to the Gate House then!" She smiles and leads us to a small house-looking-gate thing and leads us into a small dark room

"Wow, do you just hang out I'm haunted, dingy, old places?" Mia asks

"Kinda, sorta, yeah, I guess." Amber shrugs "trust me, I didn't or I don't either."

"I understand why!" Connor huffs "look at this place!"

"It was worse when there was a frozen-undead guy in a tank in the middle of the room." Amber whispers

"Wait, what?!" Zander asks

"Nevermind." She says and quickly walks over to a wall in the corner and bends down

"What are you doing?" I ask

"Wait a minute." Amber smiles at the floor them stands back up "Here you go."

Amber walks over to us, and hands us a mini-doll. The dolls hair is long. Longer than Ambers barely-longer-than-her-shoulder hair. But it's still the perfect blonde she has now. The eyes still the same green-hazel. Still in the 19 century dress-style, like mine, my mums and my dads was in.

"Your welcome." She smiles

I hand the doll Elliott "Wherever she goes,

she leaves a trail of broken hearts behind,

And though hearts may heal,

The pieces say,

And tell a story,

And the place of the story may be the place of your next key."

"Looks like the five of you need to call in our favorite truste, Alfredo Lewis!" Amber grins excitedly
