Maka snarled, glaring in Giriko's direction. She should of known his monkey looking ass was behind all of this from the start. She knew it was a bad idea to even consider taking this job, but of course Blackstar's stupid ass not thinking; he would trust a robber at first sight. Maka's train of thought was cut short by the echoing of a gun shot. She looked around and noticed all of her friends aiming their guns towards Giriko who had shot a warning shot.

"If you don't mind. I would like to gather what Iv'e come to get." He grinned mischievously lowering his gun to his side, he jerked his head from left to right creating popping and cracking noises which made Maka flinch.

"You make us do your dirty work? And expect us to just hand everything over to you? If you wanted it that bad you would of gotten off your ass and did it yourself." Maka spat in disgust finally figuring out she was being used this whole time. This does nothing but prove her point on why she didn't want to be involved with Soul, Kid and Blackstar and anymore. They were nothing but trouble, she only wanted to live a peaceful life on the street without any drama, and what does she get?

Bullshit.

"I'm surprised as smart as you are Maka, you didn't figure it out from the start." Giriko snarled rolling his eyes."Maybe your more stupid than I thought." He laughed.

Maka eyes twitched before firing a shot which caught him on the tip of his shoulder. Everyone jumped at the sudden action and Soul couldn't help but smirk, he knew exactly where this was going. He knows that Maka could be a lot of things, smart, obnoxious, overbearing and such, but one thing she wasn't is stupid. Maka's the brightest person he knows, and fell in love with all over again.

Soul gave Liz, Patty, Kid and Blackstar a look telling them to lower their guns he knows Maka can handle this all on her own. Liz only raised a brow and opened her mouth slowly in protest, but Soul only gave her a look telling her to just trust him. She sighed and lowered her gun to her side as she watched Maka quietly wondering what was going to happen next.

"You...fucking bitch." He grimaced holding his bleeding arm."I'm gonna make you regret doing that..."He grumbled lifting up his shaking arm and aiming the gun towards Maka.

"MAKA!" Liz screamed.

BOOM

Smoke cleared from the air and Liz quickly made it disperse by swatting her hand back and forth, she was panting heavily with a worried face. She didn't know if Maka got shot or not and it worried her. She looked around only to find, Kidd on top of her making sure she didn't get hit by the bullet, Patty was to the left, she had buried her face in her arms. Blackstar was holding on to Tsubaki, and Soul was laughing?

"Soul...where's Maka? Is she okay? What's so funny!" Liz screamed standing up on her two feet demanding answers. She turned her head only to find Soul looking directly at her with a smile plastered on his face and pointing.

Liz followed his finger and gasp at the sight. Maka's head was titled to one side, Giriko was standing face to face with Maka. Her eyes lowed down and that's when she noticed the 6 bullets right in the middle of his chest. Suddenly, he fell without warning and Maka threw the now empty gun onto the ground. She walked up towards Giriko who was shaking violently on the ground trying to stop his own bleeding he still had enough energy to glare in her direction, Maka only looked down at him before shaking her head and taking his half loaded gun that laid in a puddle of blood.

"Lets get one thing straight, I can be a lot of things, but for one I don't do peoples dirty work AND I'm not stupid." She growled turning away from him and walking away. Soul couldn't help to clap and congratulate her. Maka shifted her gaze towards Soul before throwing him the gun.

"And what's this?" He questioned raising a brow.

"A souvenir. " She replied plainly and walked away.
