Chapter 22: The Power of Sacred Fire

Nighttime in Nosgoth has finally reached its summit, just like the fire in Uschtenheim has reached an all-time high. But as the fire continues to progress, so did the battle between the Vampire Resistance and the final legion of demons. Though the Vampires start to become worried about Travas' disappearance, they continue to fight against the demons as best as they could. Thankfully for the Resistance, however, the last surviving citizen of Uschtenheim escapes from the burning town, causing Celestia to approach Janos with haste.

"Janos, the last survivor just escaped from Uschtenheim at last. Shall we unleash the full potential of our power", Celestia asked while giving a slight smirk to him as Janos turns to face the demons at once.

"Yes, it is time to show them how much you've all improved over the years", Janos answered while smirking proudly. He then turns to see Umah on his left side engaging in combat, though has depicted herself to be worried about her beloved once again. To reassure her everything was going to be okay, he places his left hand onto her right shoulder comfortingly, causing the worried vampire to turn and face him. She smiles in return and then turns back to the demons with a smirk on her face and ready to kill.

"It is time that we showed these demons what we are truly made of", Umah said just before she and Aramantha begin running towards the demons in the north with haste, slaughtering those that got in their way one at a time. In that moment, Janos and Celestia quickly engage in battle with the ones in the eastern direction as Vorador and Doyle start fighting the ones in the west.

With the battle progressing to its peak, the vampires begin to have an advantage over the large army of brown fiery demons. One by one, each demon starts to fall in the hands of the vampires as lifeless corpses bleeding upon the land like a river flowing through a valley. Soon the bodies began to topple like a deadly viral pandemic killing its victims in mass numbers. Upon this, the vampires smirked in delight as they continued to slaughter the demons that continue to progress within the burning town of Uschtenheim.

Though the luxuries of having a higher advantage became pleasing to them, this soon began to fade as some of the elite demons of the army begin to summon fiery blades onto their arms. With this, the elite demons start giving the members of the vampire resistance a hard time, striking towards them and anything else that got into their way.

"Damnit…! Since when could these pestilent demons summon such energetic weaponry", Aramantha exclaimed while defending herself from the fiery demons with fiery blades equipped to them. Soon she began to have a hard time defending herself, and within the next moment, one of the fiery bladed demons struck upon her with sheer force. As a result from the sudden attack, she suffers the consequence of having a diagonal, burnt slash mark upon her torso and burning her shirt in the process.

Though the sudden attack may have injured her greatly and burned off her shirt, she continues to fight as if the wound itself were never there. And as a response to her shirt being burnt off, she looks towards the same fiery bladed demon that committed the act and starts sprinting towards it. Again, the demon prepares its fiery blade to strike against the female vampire, but with a much higher intensity. However, the female vampire wasn't gonna fall for the same trick a second time. So instead, she swiftly runs behind it and uses her right hand to pierce directly through the demon's back. Thus, the demon collapses onto the bloodied land as a lifeless corpse just like the others have before it.

As the other vampires continue to fight the ferocious demons, Umah obtains a higher advantage after slaying most the fiery bladed demons within the area. However, one demon in particular suddenly fires a fiery projectile towards the female vampire and causes her to crash upon one of the houses nearby. While Umah tries to get up, the demon approaches her as it prepares its fiery blade for the final attack.

"I must admit that you have fought this battle with powerful efforts, Vampire… but, it seems that your vampuric unlife has come full circle at last", the fiery demon claimed as it lifts the fiery blade above its head, preparing for the long-awaited kill at last. "Prepare to die, wretched vampire", the Demon exclaimed as Umah shuts her eyes and turns her head towards her right, not wanting to see the demon strike the blade upon her. Suddenly, a pair of warriors returning from another dimension crashes onto the attacking demon, knocking it over and missing its designated target.

After a brief moment of darkness, Umah opens her eyes and turns to face the direction of the crash site. And there, just within several meters to her right, she discovers that her beloved Travas had returned with an almost unconscious Infernum pinned down onto the ground. Thus she stands up, despite her injuries, and immediately sprints towards him.

"Travas", Umah shouted as he barely manages to stand onto his feet-paws and turns to face her. Suddenly, she jumps into his arms as the injured vulpin held her by her thighs. Thus, the female vampire begins to kiss her beloved vulpin boyfriend lovingly, yet gently until she rests her head upon his muscular chest.

"I can tell somebody's missed me", Travas spoke while kissing her forehead. Then he notices her injuries and the bloody battlefield before him. "Damn… talk about a well fought bloody battle. Are you alright, Umah", he asked calmly, yet worryingly.

"Yeah… I'm alright, just a few excessive wounds and nothing more", Umah answered while looking upon her beloved's injuries. "But you're injuries are far too greater than my own… you need to go and get medical attention immediately", she pleaded as Travas calmly shakes his head. At the same time, he looks upon Infernum, who has begun to get back onto his feet-paws once again. In response, the vulpin sets his girlfriend down and turns to face her.

"I'll be fine, Umah… but you need to help the others kill the remnants of the demonic armies. I'll take care of this bastard myself", Travas replied while Umah looks upon him worryingly. But with a small sign of reluctance, she nods and kisses her boyfriend on his lips lovingly, but briefly before turning towards the west to help Vorador and Doyle annihilate the remainder of that horde.

From the moment Umah leaves the site, Travas turns back to face the now standing wolf demon, which he had gotten into his normal battle position. In a similar manner, the vulpin gets into his usual martial arts stance while unsheathing the Soul Reaver from its sheath. Then in the next moment, the two warriors begin to clash at each other using their own blades to strike at the opposing opponent. Both opponents continue to block each other's attacks with ease until the moment that Infernum strikes Travas' left arm with the tip of the blade, cutting the side of his bicep as the vulpin covers it the best he could.

As a result from Travas' sudden injury, he moves the Soul Reaver to his left hand-paw and begins striking his opponent as best as he could. At first, the wolf manages to either dodge them or block every attack Travas tried to make against him. But within a minute or two of fighting against him, Travas begins to make some progress as each attack he successfully made becomes slightly stronger than the other. Yet to Travas' surprise, he notices that some of his wounds were starting to heal thanks to the power of the Soul Reaver.

"That's right… Janos had told me some time ago about the sword being able to regenerate my wounds. At the same time, it allows my blood thirst to be sustained longer as long as I keep it in my possession", Travas recalls within his mind as he smirks towards Infernum. "Excellent, now that the swords abilities are beginning to work, I may have a better advantage than I had anticipated", he continued as the vulpin continues to swiftly strike against the wolf with confidence. However, the wolf begins to chuckle upon him as Travas looked to him curiously and dumbfounded.

"So the sword is starting to heal and sustain your body at last…" Infernum assumed based upon his observations. "Excellent, now that you're beginning to recover from your injuries, it is time that I take this battle up a higher level, don't you agree", he spoke mischievously.

"Wait… what do you mean", Travas asked until he discovers some sort of light shine from behind him. Then he looks up to see that it was the light from the full moon.

"Allow me to show you", Infernum answered as he raises his forearms forward and up until they were perpendicular to his upper arms. "And then you will understand the true power that I hold within my body", he continued as his body outline starts to glow from coming into contact with the moonlight above. Within the next moment, the wolf began to howl upon the moonlight as Travas, the other vampires, and the remainder of Infernum's demonic army looked upon him, noticing that his energy began to skyrocket massively

As Travas continues to watch the transformation, Infernum's muscular body began to bulge, with his muscles becoming nearly twice as bigger than they once were. His fangs became sharper in comparison to his muzzle slightly becoming longer than its normal length. The wolf's eyes also turn into a blood red color, with his pupils turning into emerald green slit irises. Next, his feet-paws begin growing into a much bigger size as well as the wolf himself beginning to walk by his toes. Lastly, his body grows almost two and a half times in size as everyone within the area witness the sudden transformation for themselves.

As the glow around the wolf's body began to stagnate, the shocked look upon the vampires' faces become much more apparent. So much so that the remaining demons nearby began to laugh upon them and cheer for their newly transformed master.

"All Hail Lord Infernum!" the Demons within the area chanted under his name as the newly transformed Infernum looks back upon them with a sadistic grin on his face, bowing politely upon hearing their chants.

"Thank you all kindly for your chants", Infernum said, with his voice being slightly deeper, as he turns back to see Travas completely shocked out of his mind. "Now you understand the true power that I harness within my body", he spoke as Travas stood there, shocked upon seeing his new transformation.

"Holy shit… it wasn't just his appearance that changed… but his energy just skyrocketed among levels I had never sensed in my entire life", Travas thought as he stands there looking upon Infernum's transformation in shock.

"What seems to be troubling you as of late, Travas? Have you seen a ghost course through the your very eyes, or is it fear filling them after witnessing my new werewolf-like appearance and level of energy I possess", Infernum asked mischievously as he unsheathes his claws, preparing to fight the vulpin for another round. Though Travas was shocked and horrified by the wolf's new appearance, he, too, prepares to fight again as he and the wolf immediately fly towards each other with haste.

At the moment of intersection, the two fierce warriors quickly start clashing at one another with ferocious physical attacks. However, Travas could not keep up with the wolf's new heightened speed as Infernum merely dodges all of his attacks with ease. Unfortunately for Travas, however, he could not dodge any of the wolf's attacks as he keeps teleporting from place to place, using the vulpin as a mere punching bag as if he were simply training. With each attack Infernum makes, he continues to grow stronger as Travas grows weaker and his body became more broken with each attack he suffers from.

Aside from this battle, the Vampire Resistance starts to annihilate almost the remainder of the demonic armies residing within the burning town of Uschtenheim. When they were down to the last four demons, Janos notices Travas' energy rapidly declining as Infernum keeps on attacking him like a mere punching bag. Thus, he flies towards the vicious demon and attempts to use his telekinetic energy to throw the wolf demon off of him. However, Infernum notices this and merely deflects the telekinetic projectile with ease, eying the winged vampire and setting his sights on him as the next target for his wrath.

Within the next moment, he takes a break from knocking Travas senseless and flies straight towards Janos, seeing the winged vampire summon forth two bright green colored energy projectiles over the palms of his hands. In a similar manner, Infernum begins summoning forth his energy blades, upon which were nearly four times bigger than the ones he previously had and uses them to strike against the winged vampire viciously. But to the wolf's surprise, the winged vampire uses these projectiles as barriers to keep himself safe from the wolf's energetic blade like touch.

"It seems that I am not such a weak adversary than you might have anticipated", Janos assumed while blocking the bladed attacks with his energetic projectiles armed.

"Perhaps you are stronger than I had originally anticipated", Infernum answered while smirking at the winged vampire. "However, there are other, more effortless ways that I can penetrate through your defenses", he claimed as Janos looks towards him oddly. Before he was able to respond, however, the wolf teleports behind him and manages to strike the middle of his spine by using his left knee. Thus, the winged vampire violently crashes towards a nearby flaming building and collapses right on top of him.

"JANOS", Vorador yelled while hastily teleporting towards his sire. But as he was removing the rubble that was on top of the winged vampire, Infernum teleports towards the notorious vampire and strikes him in the mid-torso, taking the air out of his lungs and causes him to collapse. But within another moment, Vorador looks toward the wolf with disgust as Infernum prepares to strike the vampire.

"Do you really think that you're going to escape from me that easily, vampire? I don't think so", Infernum spoke as he forms his famed energy blades on both hand-paws and raises them over his head. Then within a mere moment, Infernum suddenly pushes the blades towards Vorador, with both of his energy weapons aiming for his heart. But before either blade could touch his torso, however, a strong telekinetic force pushes the demon away from the injured vampire, thus causing him to crash upon the fountain near the mountains.

As the wolf was recovering from the sudden attack, he looks towards the direction from which the telekinetic projectile came from. To his surprise, he saw that it had been Janos that fired the telekinetic projectile at him, despite the injuries the winged vampire had sustained. Nevertheless, Infernum quickly gets back onto his feet-paws and prepares his energy blades to fight against the winged vampire once more.

"As I have said before, I am not such a weak adversary than you had anticipated", Janos spoke while forming energy blasts around his hands, despite how badly injured he was.

"And I must admit that I had been fooled by your trickery when I believed you were out of commission. But no matter, you're going to die within the hour, and that, I promise you", Infernum claimed while sprinting towards the bloodied, injured winged vampire with his blades ready for the kill. But before the wolf was able to strike the winged vampire with either blade, he was suddenly met with a fierce boot in the muzzle, knocking a few of his teeth out in the process.

"Hey, get the fuck away from Janos, you asshole", Doyle shouted while unsheathing his two butcher-like swords from their cases and prepares for battle. Thus, the wolf manages to recover and turn his sights towards the young vampire.

"Do you so wish to die at such a young age, vampire", Infernum asked a he spits out two more of his teeth from his muzzle.

"Kill me, I doubt it, but you're more than welcome to try if you wish", Doyle answered while smirking. "And I will tell you this, Infernum… I'm not going down without a fight", he continued just before he starts sprinting towards the wolf demon.

"Very well, it it's a fight you want, then a fight you shall get", Infernum replied while he also starts sprinting towards the vampire. Within a mere few seconds, the two finally intercept each other and begin to strike against one another with their blades, both physical and energetic alike.

While Doyle and Infernum were clashing against each other, Janos runs towards Vorador and starts tending to his wounds. In the instant Janos kneels down next to him, he begins to use his healing magic to restore Vorador's body back to the point where no injuries remain. Thus, Vorador stands up and looks upon his sire while nodding in a thankful gesture. Then, the two vampires turn to face the direction where Travas was located.

"Vorador, I require you to help Doyle fight against the wolf demon as best as you could while I tend to Travas' injuries", Janos ordered. "With him healed, we may have a better chance at defeating Infernum with whatever strength we may have left", he continued as Vorador nods in understanding. Thus, he sprinted towards the direction in which Doyle and Infernum were fighting as Janos immediately teleports towards Travas' unconscious body. From the moment he arrived, Umah slays the final fiery demon and teleports towards Janos, thus kneeling next to her unconscious beloved Travas as Janos began to use his healing magic once more.

"Janos, how is my beloved ding? Is he alright?" Umah asked, worried about her vulpin boyfriend's condition.

"He has sustained a lot of injuries from Infernum's attacks. They seem to be healing, but I am in need of more time since his injuries are bad at the upmost of severity. Can you hold the demon off long enough for Travas' injuries to recover", Janos asked urgently.

"I will do whatever I can, but I cannot guarantee my success in buying you the time you require… but I will the best I can. Please keep my beloved safe and do whatever you can to heal him", Umah pleaded as she turns to face Infernum, upon which Vorador, Celestia, Aramantha and Doyle were fighting against, and sprints towards her allies to aid in the battle against the demon.

As the five vampires continue to fight against the dreaded wolf demon, Janos continues to do the best he can to heal Travas' injuries. While he manages to get several of his wounds healed, he suddenly comes to a halt as he hears an explosion going off behind him. He turns to discover that four of the other vampires were blasted right through some of the homes. What caught his attention, however, was that Infernum has Umah on the grip of his left hand-paw and pinned towards the mountain closest to the Uschtenheim entrance. Thus, the winged vampire puts Travas' healing on hold and flies towards the demon with haste.

"Now I have you within my grasp, young woman, I can gladly say that your life has come full circle", Infernum spoke as he turns to the approaching winged vampire and grins sadistically as he summons forth a bright blue projectile in the palm of his right hand-paw. "And as for you, Janos, it is time for you to go to OBLIVION", the wolf shouted as he fires the projectile towards the winged vampire. At the moment the projectile comes into contact with him, Janos is blasted towards the heart of the burning city. Thus, he was purged into a fiery demise as Umah looks upon the sight of her sire and gasps in shock and horror about his end.

"JANOS", Umah screamed from the top of her lungs as the demon tightens his grip around her neck.

"Janos' fate is of no concern of you, filthy vampire. However, you will be joining him in hell soon enough, you pestilent woman", Infernum claimed while preparing his right arm to strike Umah's torso. Though Umah was expecting to be killed by the wolf's hand-paw, she was instead met with an uncomfortable, violating feeling as Infernum starts to caress her well-endowed breasts in a seductive manner. "But before I execute you, how about you and I engage into a more private 'battle' of our own, if you catch my drift", the wolf spoke seductively as Umah turns her head away from him and shut her eyes.

"No… please don't", Umah pleaded as she starts to hear the sounds of the wolf beginning to undo his loincloth and skintight leather pants, causing her to silently cry upon hearing the sound. Then all of the sudden, she was released from Infernum's grip as she hears the sound of a ferocious, powerful punch striking the wolf's face. Thus, Umah turns to discover that it was her beloved Travas that attacked Infernum while watching him growl viciously towards the wolf.

"INFERNUM, YOU KEEP YOUR GOD DAMN HAND-PAWS OFF OF MY GIRLFRIEND", Travas screamed aggressively as he immediately flies towards the recovering wolf with haste and vengeance.

As the wolf tries to get back onto his knees, Travas strikes him with a powerful energy blast that blows him right across the burning town and towards a nearby mountain in the north-east. Within a second before the wolf makes his sudden impact with the mountain, Travas flies towards him with vengeance and performs a fierce spiral kick onto Infernum's chest, pushing him further into the mountain. When the wolf tries to recover, the vulpin fiercely knee kicks him on the stomach and lands a powerful uppercut on his jaw. Thus, Travas starts beating Infernum senselessly using his bare hand-paws, punching him continuously and ferociously from his muzzle and face down to his chest.

While Travas continues to fight against Infernum, Umah begins to sprint towards Vorador and use her own healing magic to restore the veteran vampire once more. At the same time, Aramantha began to awaken from her state of unconsciousness and starts approaching the other two unconscious vampires. Thus, she begins to use her own healing magic to revitalize the two remaining vampires, regardless of her weariness. During the process in which she was healing her allies, she looks upon the fight between Travas and Infernum as the vulpin continues to beat the wolf mercilessly.

After about a short amount of time, Celestia and Doyle awaken from their state of unconsciousness and look towards the vicious fight between the two anthromorphic warriors with amazement. Though the battle was progressing at an all-time high, Aramantha quickly starts looking around for Janos, noticing that he was nowhere to be found. In a similar manner, she looks towards Umah facing the direction of the burning buildings of Uschtenheim and approaches her with a calm sense of concern within her.

"Umah, Where's Janos? I cannot sense his energy presence anywhere around here", Aramantha asked as Umah points towards the direction in which the heart of the fire lies.

"He was cast into the fire by the hands of Infernum himself", Umah answered while a few tears begin to stream down her face. However, Travas' ears perked up upon hearing Umah's answer on Janos Audron's fate.

"What", Travas spoke softly while turning towards Umah's direction in shock upon hearing the news. Then all of the sudden, the vulpin was met with an energy blast in the face while throwing him towards the Clock Tower nearby. Thus, the wolf teleports towards Travas' direction while preparing his energy blade to strike upon his heart. But before the wolf's blade could touch the vulpin's chest, Travas places both of his hand-paws in front of him and began to push the blade away while Infernum tried to push it towards him.

With Travas trying to push the energetic blade away from him, Umah and the others begin to look for their fallen sire, Janos, within the heart of the fire. But as they we searching for him, they discover that his body had remained intact despite the burn marks he sustained and his state of unconsciousness. Thus, Vorador sprints towards him, though cautiously, and uses his telekinetic ability to lift him from the burning ground below. Then in that moment, he sprints back towards the other vampires with Janos under his telekinetic grasp.

"Doyle, Celestia, I need you to return to the Citadel with me at once. We can begin to cure Janos of his fiery injuries at the moment we arrive", Vorador ordered urgently as the two vampires nod before he turns to Aramantha. "Aramantha, I need you to remain here with Umah and Travas in case they are in need of recovery from their injuries. Am I understood", he ordered as Aramantha nods in understanding.

Then in that moment, he, Doyle, and Celestia fly towards the Citadel immediately as Aramantha sprints towards Umah with haste. However, Infernum discovers this and throws an electrical projectile towards the fleeing trio, hoping to stop them in their path. Suddenly, however, Travas hastily flies towards the trio and crosses his arms in front of his torso by means of blocking the attack. Though the vulpin managed to save the trio in time, he suffers the toll of being electrocuted and falls towards the ground, instantly paralyzing him as he met a harsh impact on the cement ground below.

"TRAVAS", Umah exclaimed while trying to run towards her beloved, but instead was met with Infernum's telekinetic grip on her. Suddenly, Infernum instantly pulls her towards him as Umah tries desperately to escape from the wolf's telekinetic grasp. However, her efforts were proven to be useless for his telekinetic hold on her was too strong. With this, the wolf smirks at her while beginning to slowly tear through the front of her black skinny midriff, causing Umah to look towards him with frightened disgust.

"Now then, you pestilent vampire… where were we", Infernum seductively asked while finally tearing the remainder of her midriff in a straight, vertical line. Thus, her breasts were exposed for him to see as the wolf starts licking his lips with seductive satisfaction. "Ah yes, now I remember. We were just about to engage in a private 'battle' just within a moment before your idiot boyfriend struck his hand-paw against me", the wolf continued while grinning in seductive delight. "And best of all, since your boyfriend interrupted me of my pleasures and you had played your part in murdering my legion of demons, I get to take revenge on the both of you by forcing you to fulfill my exotic pleasures and murdering you both in the process. As they say, it's like killing two birds with one stone", he finishes as the wolf completes his task of undoing his loincloth and leather pants, exposing his werewolf flesh for Umah to see, causing the female vampire to gasp in shock and horror.

"No!" Umah exclaimed while struggling to get free from the wolf's grip on her. Though she was having a tough time trying to get free, she has managed to push the wolf away from her as he attempts to perform his seductive pleasures upon the unwilling female vampire.

As Umah tries desperately to escape from Infernum's seductive grip, Travas continues to struggle upon getting free from his electrical prison with Aramantha at his side. While Aramantha tries her best to break the prison binding Travas in his state of paralysis, they prove to be of no use for the electrical prison itself began to electrocute the female vampire. Thus, the female vampire was unexpectedly electrocuted to a state of unconsciousness as the vulpin cursed softly in response. Then while the vulpin was trying to find a way of escaping his prison, he began to hear a faint, yet familiar voice inside his head as he began to clear his mind and focus upon the oncoming voice.

"Travas, this is Johnny speaking through the 'Whisper', are you alright", Johnny spoke within Travas' mind as his shut eyes widened upon recognition.

"Not really, Johnny. As of right now, I'm stuck in some sort of electrical binding prison that's preventing me from moving around much", Travas answered within the 'Whisper'.

"Damnit… that isn't good. But that's not why I'm speaking within your mind. I know Infernum's true weakness and you need to listen to me very closely", Johnny urgently spoke within Travas' mind as the vulpin focuses on his friend's voice closely.

"I had a feeling you would figure out some sort of weakness. What do I need to do in order to kill this asshole once and for all", Travas asked within the 'Whisper'.

"Listen to me carefully. Apparently, I discovered that the only way you can kill this demon is with fire", Johnny answered within Travas' mind while the vulpin continued to try and escape from his prison.

"Fire", Travas asked with a rather odd, confused tone.

"Yes, I know how odd this may sound. But not just any fire, however, but sacred fire since I have used it against him to burn nearly half of his face down to the bone. But in this case, you have to engulf his entire body in it or make a powerful projectile out of it, thus making sure that it pierces right through Infernum himself", Johnny explained within Travas' mind. "Again, I know it sounds odd, but it's the only way that he can be stopped. I would've done more damage to him if I could, but I was nearly at the brink of death at the time I fired an attack like that on him", he continued.

"I understand, Johnny… and thanks for telling me. As soon as I escape, I'll ensure that he gets the medicine that's prescribed just for him", Travas spoke within the 'Whisper' as Johnny slightly chuckles in response to his friend's comment.

"That's the spirit, buddy… and good luck", Johnny said within Travas' mind as he disconnects the 'Whisper', thus allowing the vulpin to continue his attempts at breaking free from his electrical prison. Then all of the sudden, he began hearing sounds of fierce strikes and screams coming from nearby his position. He looks toward the direction where Infernum and Umah were just to discover that the wolf began to fiercely punch his girlfriend's face and grope her breasts in the process after she had bit his hardened flesh viciously.

"Why you wretched little whore, HOW DARE YOU SINK YOUR TEETH INTO THE MIDDLE OF MY PRECIOUS WOLFHOOD", Infernum shouted ferociously as he viciously slaps and strikes his claws against Umah's face and torso. Then he suddenly turns her body over and undoes her jeans in the process, thus pressing his injured flesh between her firm butt cheeks. "I was planning on taking it easy on you, but you can forget about that now, you harlot! And because of your action, I'm going to have the pleasure of penetrating your firm ass nice and rough before I strike the hand of death upon you", the wolf shouted viciously as he begins to press the tip of his flesh against her ass, though Umah continues to push it away with her legs.

"No…TRAVAS!" Umah screamed from the top of her lungs as Travas growls viciously and breaks free from his prison. Thus, the vulpin becomes engulfed by his famous purple-red energy and immediately flies towards the wolf, punching him ferociously and firing an energy blast at him in the process. Immediately, the wolf looks at the vulpin with some shock, seeing his muscular torso and arms slightly bulge and then to his pupil-less eyes as Travas growls in rage.

"You son of a BITCH, HOW DARE YOU TRY TO RAPE MY GIRLFRIEND RIGHT IN FRONT OF MY OWN EYES", Travas Screamed as he flies towards Infernum and unsheathes the Soul Reaver, using it to sever his wolfhood from his body as the wolf screams out in pain.

As an immediate response to this lewd act, the wolf turns his sight to Travas, preparing to fight the vulpin another round. Infernum uses his loincloth as a bandage for his severed flesh as he immediately flies towards the raging vulpin. But when Infernum tries to strike him, Travas manages to block the wolf's attack with ease. Then with the wolf's free hand-paw, he summons his energetic blade while and began to strike against the vulpin with sheer force. However, the vulpin manages to block each attack the wolf tries to make upon him without any effort, thus annoying the wolf further than he already was.

While Travas continues his battle against Infernum, Aramantha begins to awaken from her state of unconsciousness and looks upon an isolated, frightened Umah. She instantly runs towards her and as she arrives, she notices multiple signs of an attempted rape as well as various other injuries on her body. As she kneels down, Travas manages to strike Infernum and cause the wolf demon to crash towards another nearby mountain.

"Umah, are you alright", Aramantha asked worryingly while beginning to heal her from the injuries she had recently sustained. While using her healing magic, Umah merely shook her head instead of speaking to answer her question. "Umah… what's wrong…? What happened…?" she asked in a pleading, worried tone as she merely looks down and begins to curl up and lean her head towards her knees. Shortly thereafter, she began sobbing; causing Aramantha wraps her arms around Umah to help provide comfort.

"That bastard… he almost raped me…" Umah answered while sobbing and holding onto Aramantha close into her arms, crying upon her friends shoulder as Travas looks back at her in shock and worry. It was then that he turns back and growls upon Infernum aggressively as the wolf began to get back onto his feet-paws.

"Infernum, you sick bastard, you're not gonna get away with what you've done to Umah!" Travas shouted furiously as Infernum looked upon him angrily.

"And you're not going to get away with severing my wolfhood, you pestilent little fox", Infernum shouted back as he begins to draw a bright green energy projectile in the palm of his right hand-paw.

"We'll see about that, you sorry mother fucker", Travas thought within his mind while beginning to prepare his attack.

As seconds continue to pass by, Travas begins to summon a fiery like energy within the palms of his hand-paws, causing Infernum to look upon his attack with a mixture of shock, fear, and eagerness. Within a matter of prolonged moments, both warriors have their attacks prepared and ready to fire. Thus, the warriors look towards each other with angered, confident looks upon both of their faces.

"And here we are at last, the finale upon which the champion will be decided. Me, the dimensional demon, or you, Nosgoth's famed vampuric hero. And this final set of attacks shall be the fulcrum upon which the champion is chosen", Infernum spoke as he prepared to fire the attack. "Prepare to die, you vile vampire! WOLF'S GHASTLY BLITZKRIEG", the wolf shouted as he fired the bright green projectile upon Travas.

"We'll see about that, you sorry bastard! DRAGON'S FIERY KAMI- argh", Travas started as he was about to throw his fiery attack upon the wolf. But suddenly, he was interrupted when he growls in pain and feels a familiar sharp pain in his head. "Not now!" he though as another vision of the future begins to play within his mind.

*Vision*

The streets of Veron Opus are as peaceful and quiet as that of a sub-urban part of the Alopex Space Station, with its residents continuing to do their parts for the community to make their lives better. However, their community was suddenly interrupted when a high-speed chase involving two armed individuals start driving through the streets as if it were a Nascar Race. The first one was a hooded figure carrying an AK-47 assault rifle and a Spaz-12 Shotgun on his back. However, his face partially covered by a broken hockey mask, with the exposed part showing pale white colored skin with the head looking somewhat bony structured and his eyes glowing a ghastly green aura around them

The second armed individual chasing the first is a female orange vixen identified as Erica Starfox, well within her mid-teens. She herself was dressed in a black Solarfox Strikeforce tank top, black S.S. full head Sport Bike helmet, green camouflage pants, black leather fingerless motorcycle gloves and black leather combat boots. The vixen was armed with an M4A1 assault rifle and starts aiming the weapon towards the odd looking hooded figure. Before she could open fire, however, the hooded figure turns his weapon around and begins firing shots at the vixen, causing panic around the residents as they start to scatter around the place. Despite the chaos in the streets, however, Erica manages to maneuver away from the gunfire while pursuing the hooded being.

"Damn… if this chase keeps up, some of the residents in Veron Opus are gonna get killed because of us… because of him", Erica spoke to herself as she opens fire towards the hooded figure. However, she misses hitting his body and shoots the license plate off of his hover bike instead. "Shit, missed him! But I'm not gonna give up that easily", she continued speaking while following the hooded figure as he turns towards the highway on the right, with Erica following pursuit.

*Vision Pause*

As Travas was having the vision; he manages to, although accidental, dodge the wolf's attack and descends onto the ground below him. Soon he slowly walks towards the two shocked female vampires and kneels down with his back bent to where his head touches his knees. Thus he continues to cover his eyes as the vision resumes.

*Vision Continuation*

Upon the moment the two armed individuals got onto the highway, the hooded figure turns his weapon back and starts to fire at Erica once more. This time, he manages to blast some of the windshield off and the left headlight as the vixen began firing shots at the hooded figure again. As she continues to fire, the hooded figure starts to laugh as he manages to maneuver away from the gunfire with ease. Thus, he presses on the gas and sped off from the vixen, but she, too, began to press on the gas and catch up towards the hooded figure.

"HA! HA! HA! Come one, come all! Follow me towards the path I travel, young vixen, and you shall be rewarded with great treasures that lie ahead", the Hooded Figure exclaimed while laughing hysterically and firing more automatic gunshots towards Erica, causing her to growl in frustration. However, she manages to maneuver away from the gunfire and avoid being shot once more.

"I don't think so, you asshole I'm not going to be taken out that easily", Erica thought as she presses the gas and increases the speed. "And because I've managed to see part of your bony face and ghastly green glowing eyes earlier… I know, without a doubt, that you're among the Hylden race, the same race that tried to kidnap me within the Simulation Room several weeks ago", she continued thinking as she fires several more shots towards the hooded figure's hover bike, hitting both of his tail lights and his left rear-view mirror.

Upon the moment this happened, the Solarfox Strikeforce and a few news broadcasting helicopters began to catch up with the armed individuals, hoping to stop and report to the others about the current highway dangers. Although shots continued to be fired towards each other, Erica had sped up slightly by means of keeping up with the hooded figure and keep away from the approaching authorities. Within a few mere moments, they enter within a highway tunnel and continue to fire shots upon each other while avoiding oncoming traffic and the approaching authorities behind them. But at the moment Erica had run out of bullets and began to reload, the hooded figure took this opportunity to press on the gas and speed off towards the tunnel exit.

"Oh, I don't think so, you asshole", Erica shouted while driving towards the hooded figure faster and reloading her M4A1 assault rifle.

Shortly after she manages to reload the weapon, the vixen aims the gun towards her target with her right hand while keeping the hover bike in control. But at the moment she was about to open fire towards the armed individual in front of her, one of the Solarfox Strikeforce Units start firing both plasma and automatic gunfire upon them both. As an immediate response, the vixen quickly switches lanes by means of maneuvering from authority gunfire. In a similar manner, the hooded figure quickly does the same thing as he presses on the nitro button on the right handle, causing him to immediately speed away from the authorities at a great distance.

Within a moment after the hooded armed figure activated the nitro, Erica briefly looks at the approaching authorities behind her and turning back to face the road. Then, with a sign of reluctance, she, too, presses the nitro and continues her highway speed chase towards the hooded figure she had claimed to be one of the Hylden demons. Thus, the vixen manages to escape from the authorities that were chasing after them both.

After a little less than a minute of having the nitro on, she suddenly spots the hooded figure some thirty-five feet in front of her, thus, the vixen began to aim her assault rifle upon him once again. Before she was able to open fire, however, the hooded man immediately switches weapons and quickly begins to fire his Spaz-12 at the approaching vixen. Though he misses hitting her body, he has managed to hit the front part of the hover bike, causing the radiator to smoke and cover the vixen's face.

"Excellent! With the vixen not being able to see, her 'prize' will soon be waiting for her just up ahead", the Hooded Figure claimed while chuckling and driving faster, speeding up towards the rising bridge up ahead.

Then all of the sudden, Erica begins opening fire upon the armed individual ahead of her and strikes the hover bike tank, causing the hooded figure to look down upon it in shock as he jumps over the rising bridge. Shortly after, Erica jumps over the same bridge with the hover bike as the two almost immediately land on the other side. But almost immediately after the hooded figure landed, his bike began to explode just in the moment he manages to jump off of the bike, causing the vixen to look upon the explosion in shocked, terrified, widened eyes.

"Oh, NO" Erica shouted shockingly as she tries to make a maneuver by pressing on the brakes and turning to the side. Unfortunately, she could not escape from it as her hover bike makes a sudden collision with the exploding hover bike, throwing her into the explosion with sheer force. And with her sudden fate seen by the precognated eyes of Travas, the vulpin was suddenly thrown back into reality once again.

*Vision End*

With the sharp pain in the vulpin's head beginning to subside, Travas uncovers his wide open eyes to reveal their shocked, horrified gesture upon seeing the vision's outcome, the fate of his youngest sibling. As a result, he looks upon the rocky land with a sense of grief that began to overwhelm him in response to knowing his sibling's possible outcome. Thus, he clenches his fists as his arms began to shake slightly in horrified shock upon what the future is to come upon Erica.

"No… Erica…" Travas spoke softly in woe as he narrows his eyes at the ground. Then all of the sudden, he smashes his hand-paws onto the earthly ground with powerful magnitude. "ERICA", the vulpin screamed in distress as he growls angrily towards Infernum, who was just about to hurl an attack towards the female vampires before immediately turning towards him with angered eyes.

Though the wolf contained rage in his eyes, they soon start to change into a more shocked, horrified expression as he looks towards the fire beginning to form around the vulpin's body. Soon, the fire began to engulf around Travas' body as it revitalizes and strengthens him once more. Thus, the vulpin flies towards Infernum and plants a massive fiery punch on his muzzle, sending him flying towards the night sky and stopping him from attacking the female vampires. However, Infernum manages to stop himself when he was about two hundred feet east from their position and one hundred-seventy feet above them. Thus, the wolf demon began to power up another massive bright green projectile upon his left hand-paw.

"Travas, if you think that your new fiery ability will defeat me, think again", Infernum shouted as he finalizes his attack. "And I will ensure that the ladies follow the same fate that you will be facing shortly", he claimed as he prepares to throw the projectile upon the vulpin like he did moments before Travas had the vision.

"We'll see about that, Infernum, and you're gonna pay for what you've done to Umah", Travas shouted furiously as he starts to form a fiery bow and holds it vertically. Along with the bow, he forms a fiery arrow and pulls it back, aiming directly for the wolf demon himself.

"Now… we have arrived upon the hour in which Nosgoth's champion will be chosen. But I will ensure that I claim what rightfully belongs to me, claiming Nosgoth for my own personal gain", Infernum thought while smirking upon the vulpin below.

"I don't think so, Infernum. You're going to die at this very moment", Travas thought to himself as he drew the arrow farther towards him, increasing the pressure in which will throw itself towards Infernum upon its release. "Well, Redford… I didn't expect to be using one of your techniques at this point. I know you won't be mastering the technique until sometime during your adventures on Alden… but it looks like I'm gonna have to borrow it from you in order to kill this bastard", he thought to himself as he locks the attack onto his opponent just like the wolf had done towards the vulpin.

"WOLF'S BLITZKRIEG", Infernum screamed as he fires his massive attack upon the vulpin.

"It's over, Infernum! It's time that you got a taste of the power of SACRED FIRE", Travas shouted at the moment he shoots the arrow towards Infernum, going right through his ghastly attack like a knife cutting through butter. Thus, Infernum looks upon the oncoming fiery arrow with mere shock and horror, seeing it dart towards him with powerful speed.

As an immediate response, the wolf attempts to block the attack by using his hand-paws in time that began to shift slowly to him. But before he could connect the two hand paws together, the arrow suddenly hits its target right through where his heart lies. In that moment, the wolf becomes engulfed in a raging, sacred fire that burns the wolf like a fool descending into the fiery depths of hell. Thus, Infernum starts to cry out in agony as the fire continues to consume him to its entirety, slowly burning his furred flesh and into mere ashes.

As the wolf continues to burn, Travas flies into the air until he was about the same distance that Infernum was above Uschtenheim and about fifty feet in front of the wolf's position. With one last act of aggressive behavior, the wolf gives Travas the finger as his body finally turns into ashes, being blown away by the northern winds headed for the south. Then after the wolf demon dies, he looks at his beloved girlfriend, Umah and Aramantha as he softly smiles towards the two.

"He did it… HE WON", Aramantha shouted as Umah looks towards her beloved vulpin in the sky with tears streaming down her face just before waving at him. In response, Travas smirks and gives a salute while winking at her. Then all of the sudden, he senses an essence just within fifty feet from where he was, thus turning around to see the wolf's ghastly, electrifying energy that was left behind after his body's destruction. Within an instant, the energy flies towards Travas and suddenly engulfs him with the essence, giving the vulpin an electrifying surge that outlined his entire body shape.

As the electrical surge of energy stagnates, Travas begins to become overwhelmed by a weary sensation, causing his eyesight to blur with his eyes struggling to remain open. Just shortly after becoming overwhelmed with weariness, the vulpin finally begins to lose consciousness and begins to plunge towards the burning city. But before he lands within the depths of the Uschtenheim fire, Umah and Aramantha jump towards the unconscious vulpin and manage to catch him. Thus, managing to save him from his fiery doom as they turn their sights towards their home, the Vampire Citadel, located within in the west. Suddenly, dark clouds began to overcome the starry night sky as small drops starts pouring down over Uschtenheim, slowly beginning to take out the fire as the two female vampires continue to take their vulpin ally to the Citadel.

"Umah, we must depart towards the Citadel before the rain worsens", Aramantha spoke just before Umah nods. Thus the two vampires carry Travas towards the Citadel by flight and with haste, hoping to get immediate medical help within.

*Within the Western Industrialized Kingdom, Dark Eden*

Repairs continue to progress within the heart of the Western Industrialized Kingdom as one demon after another continue to bring in whatever supplies they could find. But while the demons were working, a green bladed demon messenger arrives within the threshold of the repairs as the others turn to face him.

"Fellow Demons, I have just received news concerning the whereabouts of Lord Infernum", the Green Bladed Demon spoke urgently as a brown fiery demon approaches it.

"What news do you bring upon us at this hour", the brown fiery demon asked with slight suspicion in its tone.

"I have just received news that Lord Infernum has just been killed by the one many call Travas Starfox", the green bladed demon answered as the other surrounding demons gasp in shock upon the news.

"Lord Infernum is dead", one electrical demon shouted in shock.

"How is this possible", a red fiery demon asked.

"How did the Fox-man kill him", another electrical demon asked.

"I suspected that the one called Travas would have the means to kill our master", the brown fiery demon claimed calmly as the others quickly turn to face the fellow.

"How did you know that the vulpin would win", the green bladed demon asked.

"Simple, he had discovered that Infernum had a weakness against sacred fire, upon which only the purest of beings could summon in response to a need… and that need came to him at the right time", the brown fiery demon explained while walking towards one of the work sights to its left. "However, let us not mourn for our fallen master, but celebrate our freedom in which we have obtained thanks to this Fox-man", the demon continued speaking as the others, at first, stare at him oddly and towards each other. Then, the demons began to chant upon their newfound freedom upon which Travas had unknowingly given them.

"To Freedom at last", the Demons of Dark Eden chanted as they began to cheer and celebrate their new-found freedom, tearing down everything that glorified Infernum and set them to flames.

"Tonight, let us celebrate our newfound freedom. And tomorrow, let us continue the repairs of the Kingdom in our favor to glorify our freedom", the brown fiery demon chanted as everyone else chanted in response. "And tomorrow, I will acquire one of our fallen master's finest students and tell him the news. From there, we can plot our revenge against him", the demon thought before turning around and smirking secretly. Thus, the demons began to burn everything that once glorified Infernum and began to celebrate the freedom they have now acquired.

*Within the Vampire Citadel, Two Days later*

With the battle between Infernum and the Vampire Resistance finally concluding along with the fire subsiding, many of the residents start to repair the nearly burned down town of Uschtenheim. Though some of the people have unfortunately lost their lives while escaping from the battle, the survivors did the best they could to rebuild the town. Fortunately, however, Aramantha and Celestia start lending the Uschtenheim townsfolk a hand to help with some of the repairs that continue to this point in time.

Inside the Vampire Citadel, the other vampires remain inside, recovering from the injuries they had sustained against Infernum and his demonic armies two days before. But inside Travas and Umah's room, Umah continues to rest upon her beloved's chest after the vulpin had been put into a coma shortly after defeating Infernum. Within a few moments, however, the vulpin begins to shake his head and slowly open his eyes, seeing that his girlfriend, Umah, resting upon his bandaged chest and that they were back in their room. He softly smiles upon his resting girlfriend while gently rubbing her left cheek, from which she had shown to be crying due to seeing tear stains on her cheeks. But while rubbing her cheek, she began to awaken from her slumber and look upon, softly smiling upon his awakening.

"Welcome back, Travas", Umah spoke softly as she leans towards him and kisses his muzzle lips gently just before wrapping her arms around his neck. Then, Travas breaks the kiss as he looks at her silver-purple eyes as she did with his emerald green eyes. "How do you feel", she asked.

"A lot better now that I get to see you again, beautiful", Travas replied before kissing her forehead gently, yet lovingly. "How long was I unconscious", the vulpin asked.

"You have been unconscious for about two days now… and I was beginning to think that you wouldn't awaken from your state of unconsciousness after Infernum's energy entered your body", Umah answered while turning away from him slightly with sadness in her tone.

"I can tell you've been crying after I was put into a state of unconsciousness…" Travas softly spoke before scooting back and sitting up onto his bed. "Are you alright, Umah", he asked worriedly just a moment before she turns to face him, with tears beginning to stream down her face. Then all of the sudden, she runs towards her beloved and holds onto him tightly, sobbing onto his shoulder as Travas gently holds and pats her back to provide comfort for his girlfriend.

"No… I'm not alright… not after Infernum tried to rape me", Umah answered while sobbing and crying upon her boyfriend's shoulder.

"It's going to be alright, Umah.", Travas replied as he places his hand-paws on her cheeks, using his thumbs to stroke her tear-stained face, causing the female vampire to look upon his eyes once more. "I promise", he ensured before kissing her lips comfortingly, causing Umah to slightly tighten her hold around him.

"Thank you…" Umah softly said while her sobs slowly began to fade. And due to some emotional exhaustion, she began to rest upon their bed as Travas lies on his back once again. The vulpin then looks at his beloved girlfriend while using his right thumb to dry the remainder of her tears. As a response, she begins to rest upon his chest as Travas starts to stroke her luxurious black, silky smooth hair with his fingers, causing Umah to smile at him.

Then all of the sudden, Vorador knocks upon the door and enters the room before them. Like Travas, he was bandaged around his chest and upper part of his arms, upon which his torso was partially covered in his red vest containing golden yellow designs on the back and shoulder blades. He was also wearing a pair of black pants with the leg openings tucked into his metallic boots. Thus, he looks at him before softly smiling and nodding upon Travas' awakening, with the vulpin smiling at him in return.

"I see you have awakened at last. How do you feel", Vorador asked.

"Better", Travas answered while stroking Umah's hair gently. Then Umah looks upon her sire with a worried expression upon her face.

"Vorador, what makes of Janos' condition at this hour", Umah asked in a concerned tone as Travas looks back and forth at the two briefly.

"What happened to Janos", Travas asked, concerned about what happened to the winged vampire.

"Unfortunately, he was cast into the heart of the Uschtenheim fire a couple of days ago. Though his injuries seem to be improving gradually, he has not awakened from his state of unconsciousness since the incident happened", Vorador explained as Travas looks towards the floor after hearing what happened to him. "Do you wish to see him at this time", he asked as Travas looked upon him.

"Yes, Vorador… can you lead us to him", Travas asked.

"Of course… whenever you are dressed, I will take you to see him. I will be waiting outside", Vorador answered as he exits their room.

Almost immediately, Travas steps out of bed and heads for the dresser located to his right. After looking for a brief amount of time, the vulpin pulls out a pair of black pajama pants and a gray tank top with the Solarfox Insignia printed on the right side of his chest. Thus, he puts his outfit on and follows Umah outside to meet with the veteran vampire.

"Good… now that you are dressed, let me lead you to his room located nearby the Main Chambers", Vorador said as the two start walking upstairs, where Janos' room lies within. However, Vorador stops on his tracks and turns to face the vampuric couple, which they, too, suddenly stop as well. "Before we progress I might want to warn you prior to entering his chamber: Janos had sustained a vast amount of injuries while burning in the fire… many of which have nearly burned his flesh down to the bone despite his wounds continue to gradually improve overtime", the veteran vampire warned before turning back around and continuing to lead the couple towards Janos' room, hoping to see that their fellow sire would soon recover and awaken from the sudden coma he was now facing.

It seems the results have come to us at last. Infernum has lost and died by the hands of Travas. But the victory has come at such a cost: Janos was in a coma and many the townsfolk of Uschtenheim have lost their homes and lives. However, Travas has had a vision regarding his younger sibling's fate. But does this mean that Erica will lose her life during the chase? Or will she survive? And what makes of Janos?
