Finally reaching the end of this story! Yaay! However, I was thinking of writing a sequel to this story and maybe there'll be some guest appearances of Henry Danger characters-not sure. Still, it would be great to hear some of your ideas about a possible sequel, so let me know what you think! Feel free to review, PM me or vote on my profile page!

Chapter 11-The Chosen One is dead
'I...uhm, I don't...', Phoebe started to say, her voice shaking terribly.
Barb came closer, as she sensed the indecision and confusion in Phoebe's voice.
'It's all my fault!', the black-haired girl burst, tears running down her red cheeks.
'I betrayed Max, I-I wanted revenge for something that now has no actual importance... I lost my best friend and my twin-brother...'
Barb's face said nothing, it was a mask, the only sign of remaining sensibility was in her eyes and voice and there was sadness...
'Come, sit down.', Phoebe's mother said, gently pushing her daughter on the blue sofa, sitting close to her. 'So what happened, after, you know...'
Upon hearing this, Phoebe became even redder in the face than before-her cheeks had the colour of cherries!
'He joined-he joined the Dark Side...he... It is all my fault!'
Barb placed a soothing hand on her daughter's shoulder, trying to calm her down, but obviously she wasn't able to do so. Mostly because Barb herself felt the same way.
'So, it's all over... Our fight has ended... Without the Chosen one all this is pointle-'
'I don't understand how can you talk like this?!', Phoebe exclaimed, jumping on her feet, still red in the face from crying.
'Our fight is not for triumph, neither is it for glory-these are trademarks of Darkness. Our fight is about preserving freedom and happiness! And even if we all are going to die, then let's do it honourably , as when Light shall triumph again, everyone will know that we fought 'till the last man and we hadn't run… like cowards! Yesterday, I was a reckless girl, ready to put the world's fate at stake, but now I consider myself a woman, ready to fight for freedom!'
Barb did not reply for a while, but she was sure that even if she would have opposed Phoebe's decision, her daughter would have gone fighting anyway. And in these troubled times, it was important to stick together-Barb had already lost a child, she didn't want to lose another one, too.
'Fine, than we shall fight too!'
Phoebe couldn't help but hug her mother-she was sure that she will die fighting, but at least she wasn't to die alone!
Barb hugged her hot-headed daughter back. However, the question she had originally asked, was still unanswered: where was Max?
In the meanwhile at Villain U…
Max Thunderman stormed out of a room, seeking desperately for Dark Mayhem-he had to stop him! And quickly!
'Stop! Stop or I shoot!', a male voice said angrily from somewhere near Max. The Chosen One turned around slowly, and before the soldier could've done something, Max used his telekinesis to tightly grab the armed man by the throat, forcing him to drop the blaster, that he was previously pointing towards Max.
'Where's your master?', Max asked in a cold voice, but the soldier refused to answer. The Chosen One tightened his grip a little and repeated the question.
'He's-he's gone… left for Metroburg-can't stop now-large army-g-great battle', the soldier managed to say with difficulty, as Max's grip was getting tighter and tighter.
'Thank you!', Max replied, dropping the now-unconscious man on the floor, while the 15-year-old boy stormed on another door and luckily, this door was the right one, and soon Max discovered that he was standing in the same hallway he crossed when Dark Mayhem trapped him inside Villain U. The only difference was that back then, there was no gun pointed to his head-now there were hundreds! And for the second time in his life, Max had to think fast so he wouldn't get shot. 'Look, guys', Max started nonchalantly, although he was scared to death, 'I don't want to hurt you, so-'
'Huh?!', one of the persons holding the guns replied. The respective person was a boy, tall and rather young, and even so, Max was still able to sense in him the power of the Dark side. 'You do realize that we hold the weapons, right now, don't you?'
Max knew that the fair teenager was right, but he also knew that none of his attackers would have stood a chance against him. The Chosen One drew a slight gesture with his hand and instantly the guns were ripped from the hands of their possessors and transformed into piles of ash within seconds.
However, the destruction of the hundreds of blasters and guns did not stop the blonde boy from trying to attack Max again; pulling a jackknife out of his pocket, the blonde charged at the Chosen One with uncontained hatred. And for the hundredth time since the whole story started, Max had to act quickly-which he also did: stretching his hand towards the teenager, Max didn't think twice before letting his rays of lightning enter the other boy's chest… And the teenager was no more…
Everyone remained silent and, in the stiffened atmosphere, Max could feel the insecurity in his adversaries-they've never thought that a superhero would literally fry a villain.
'Any other customers?', the Chosen One said while slightly shaking his fist. 'No? No one? Well, then please stand aside!', Max ordered and much to his surprise, all the Villain U students complied-he was free to live that cursed building, free to warn his family about Dark Mayhem's attack over Metroburg-he was free to tell everyone about the imminent danger the whole world was in. And he knew that he had to move very fast!'
Back at the Thundermans House…
Max looked everywhere- in Phoebe's bedroom, the sitting room, Billy and Nora's rooms- he even looked in the garage and closet- but it was all pointless-his family wasn't at home!
'Colosso!', he cried out just in the moment he entered his underground lair. 'Where's everybody?'
'Wha-Who?', the talking bunny replied, highly confused by Max's frenetic verve.
'You know, mom and dad, Phoebe, Billy…'
'Oh right, right! Well, didn't you know?! They left for Metroburg to stop an invasion of the Dark Army. Actually, Metroburg is about to be attack in any moment-But, what are you doing here?'
'How do you mean?', Max answered Colosso's question with another one.
'I thought you joined Darkness!', the talking bunny exclaimed.
'No, I didn't. You know what, I'll explain everything later, now I gotta save some people… and quick Dark Mayhem's butt!'
And before Dr. Colosso could have said anything, Max walked through a wall using one of his new abilities and took off, starting to fly toward the besieged Metroburg.
Soon, after getting more accustomed to flying, Max started to love this new experience-it was great to soar through the air and look from 2000 feet high at the now-tiny-looking towns and cities and at the vast, waterlogged plains; and how he adored the feeling of the sun rays gently touching his face and back with their warmth. Everything was magical…
Metroburg's impressively tall skyscrapers came in sight and Max had the chance, for the first time in his life, to see his home city form above, without being behind a screen. Golden, white and grey blocks with gigantic roofs were overgrowing the city, and Max saw them all: business centers, hotels, rooftop restaurants,, grandiose institutions, headquarters of multinational corporations, hospitals-Max loved the feeling of infinite freedom the multitude of roofs was offering him. Then, he flew over the Arena and he couldn't help but feel a hue of displeasure crossing his mind, before subsiding again into the overwhelming happiness. And soon, the Chosen One, passed the tall and imposing building of the Superheroes' Council and as soon as he had a first glimpse of the front against the Dark Army, placed only 10 miles away from the Superheroes' Council's headquarters, all his happiness vanished, being replaced by a persistent feeling of nausea. However, Max was confused; yes, he was able to see the glittering, and in his opinion, quite old-fashioned uniforms that belonged to the many superheroes, and yes, Max was able to see the hundreds of brightly coloured tents that were overgrown all over the place, but what really puzzled the Chosen One was the location of the Dark Army-there was no trace of the enemy, or anyway, as much as Max was able to see!
Phoebe gazed upon the millions of blades of grass, carrying on their ephemeral and in the same time eternal lives, caring as much as Dark Mayhem about the world's last minutes of freedom. The black-haired girl raised her chin, gesture that she has done for so many times since the whole Chosen One thingy has started, maybe in sign of defiance to everything bad the fate had in it for her. And even so, she still couldn't believe that Max joined the Dark side.
'I don't even know why we're here, anyway!', a familiar voice said, and Phoebe pulled out of her thoughts, quickly observing that near her was her father, who looked rather disturbing than heroic in his skintight suit with the large Thundermans' logo on it.
'We want to prove people that we fought for them, that we did our best to protect-'
'Oh drop it!', Hank exclaimed. 'You're doing this only because you find yourself responsible for Max's treason!'
The girl swallowed hard, but refused to look into her father's eyes, she was to offended to reply.
'Well, I would personally not blame Phoebe, it was mainly my fault!', a young male voice made heard-Phoebe and Hank knew that voice well enough-it was Max's!
