Chapter 11: TOW Truth abaut double date
Emmas POV
" So now that everyone has had their chance talk with their parents how abaut telling us what has happend during last month" My father asked
" Well who wants to start? How abaut you Jes I think your story is best told in first besides your mother wants to know how you two began to date and to be honest so do I"
" Well fine I guess, my story begins couple weeks before Emmas birthday, after judo practice"
Flashback
Jessicas POV
" Hey Jessica wait up" I heard from behind me
" Oh great, it's you. What do you want? I said noticing that it was Melissa trying to catch up with me
" No need to be an ass abaut it, I just want to talk..."
" Well I figured as much, make it quick."
" Why are you so much in the hurry no need to rush"
" Just trying to get home, as I said if you want something else than to know what I do after practice then I suggest that you start to talk abaut it."
" Well to put it simple I want you..." Melissa startted with a little scare in her voice
" Excuse me? You want what?" I said confused
" I mean as my girlfriend" It sounded almost like whisper, I wasn't sure did hear it correctly
" Wait did you just say you want a girlfriend? What the heck makes you think I want a girlfriend? Specially if it's you? You do know that I have allways hated you, right?" I said trying to just get out it
" Doesn't your friend allways say that love and hate go hand by hand if you hate someone long enough you start to like it at somepoint that's what happend to me atleast."
" I say keep waiting becouse it's not gonna happen. Just becouse I dont have a boyfriend yet doesn't mean that I'm gay you know? Can I go now?"
" Fine, just so you know if you change your mind and I'm single then I'll be there for you. I have time to wait... And well nothing hasn't been stopping you so far either we could have talked while we walk, you know"
" Fine just leave now. Find yourself a girlfriend, I don't care but you're wasting your time if you think you are gonna get me." I said and left
I don't know what happend next. Somehow I couldn't get the idea out of my head. I began to think that, what if she was right what if I hate her so much that I can't see that there is actually a girl that I want to be with underneath. But there was just so many questions that I didn't know what to do with could I really be as close as I am with Emma and Alex and stilll date a another girl? How would they react to it? And so on. One night couple days before Emmas birthday I decided that I want to talk with Melissa, just to atleast apoligize my behavior earlier and maybe to see can we even get along... So I looked up her number against my better judgement.
" You got Melissa" I heard from the otherside
" *sigh* Hi Melissa it's Jessica, can we talk?"
" Well took you long enough... Of course, are you thinking abaut my suggestion? I thought that you don't even wanna consider it... " Melissa said with a teasing voice I knew I was trapped
" Well you managed to get into my head and if I wanna stand a chance against you, I need to do something and do something fast. Can we meet face to face tomorrow? I don't want to talk abaut this over the phone anymore..." I said
" Fine how abaut I cup of offer you a coffee after we get of the school, say at 3? " She offered
" I guess, there is no harm. Don't be late." I said
" I don't be, see you tomorrow then" She said and hang up
I almost called it off like a thousand times but something allways pushed me back and said if not anything else you can atleast apoligize. I don't remember anything abaut the next day other than the meeting... Next day I was ten minutes early becouse I was way too eager to wait. Melissa showed up
" Well and here I was thinking the I'm way early, here you are allready waiting..." She said with a teasing voice
" Well you know I didn't have anything better to do and didn't want have to hurry this time..." I tried to defend myself
" If you say so, I think you were just eager to meet me for some reason..."
" Just want to talk and find out more, you know that your confession came so badly out of the blue, that you got me all confused" I said
" Do you girls want something?" Waitress came to us
" Two coffees right? Two sugars for me" I asked
" You heard her, just black for me... So what do you want to know." Melissa said
" First of all I want to know how did you know I would even consider this?" I asked
" To be honest I wasn't sure you would but after our talk other night I saw some uncertainty when you told me to back off. You just have to accept that in love there is allways a chance"
" You know that you're startting to sound more and more like Emma. I don't know if it's a good or a bad thing. That brings me to another thing, you do realize how close I'm with Emma and Alex, could you fully trust me even if I spend a lot of time with them too? "
" They will eventually have boy or girlfriends of their own too and start to spend time with them. I can trust you becouse I don't think either of them is any sort of threat to me. If you can be open and honest, I am not gonna come between you and your friends." Melissa said
" I'm just worried how they will take this if I do this... I don't want to lose either of them for something like this..
" Well isn't Emma's stepbrother being raised of two women? Do you really think that Emma would judge you for something like this. You can't let them hold you back. There is allways a chance that you may find a guy they don't like and what if he breaks your heart. You don't want to put guy through relationship that ends to you coming out of the closet."
"But..."
"No buts stop thinking this so rationally and start to think this with your heart. Think of me as a guy if you want to be with me then lets do this, if not then I don't take it personally.
" I guess, I have to talk to Emma abaut this before I make any decicions. Sorry but I need to know that she's okay with this... I don't want to lose Emma for this" I said finished my coffee and left
" I'll be waiting" Melissa said

Emmas POV
"And at my birthday she made a little slip up when I asked abaut her crush of course I assumed it was some guy from the school. When she startted talk abaut she I was pretty confused I never saw that coming"
" But as weeks went by and I never heard back from Jessica and she didn't answer her phone I decided that I will take my chances and try to talk with Emma my self" Melissa said
" Yeah well I just couldn't get my mouth open abaut this thing didn't want to answer the phone just to say I haven'talked with her yet. I was pretty much stuck with no way out of it. I thought abaut asking some guy from the school out just to get out of this mess but I knew that it would hurt Melissa way too badly. That was the point where I realized that my heart was indeed falling in love with her." Jessica said
" I was actually pretty surprised when Melissa was at my house when I came home..."
Flashback
" Hi mom I'm home!" I shouted from the hall
" Hi honey, how was school? You have visitor waiting in living room." My mom said I didn't know who to expect
" Hi it's you, Melissa isn't it? Has been a while... What brings you here?" I said
" It most certainly has, Can we talk in private? " Melissa asked
" Of course, to my room?"
" Lead the way"
" Call if you need anything" My mom said
" So, have you been talking with Jessica lately?" Melissa asked
" Well yeah I have she just doesn't seem to be herself at the moment. Why do you ask? Do you know why she's acting all weird? Please tell me if you do I want to help..."
I told her what had happend before and have to say it's the only time I have seen Emma going speechless. Melissa said
" How... Have to say that didn't expect to see this coming, so she was talking abaut you at my birthday." I said realizing that she matched her description perfectly
" She talked abaut me? What did she say?"
" She said that she didn't know how she felt abaut you yet, but from where I stood I would say that she has feelings for you... But she's clearly scared, I tried to say that I don't care if she loves a girl, but it sounded like she took it as a personal insult or something"
" Any ideas what I could do next?"
" There is only one thing you can do... Try to talk to her."
" But how? She doesn't answer her phone, runs away if we are anywhere near to eachother and so on...
" Actually I might have an idea but it depends are you doing anything on friday night?"
" I don't think she will fall for any blind date stuff at the moment."
" Well I think she might fall for it if she doesn't have a clear date for the night"
" What are you planning?"
" Leave that to me but say if your outside of certain movie teather after 7?"
" I can't be there before 8.30 could you go maybe for a later movie."
" I'll make it happen "
" Now I understand why Jessica thinks you almost as a god. You're not affraid of anything and for every challenge you just say that you'll make it happen... By the way she can be on the defensive could try make her open up a little"
" I can't promise anything but I'll try. It's not my style to just give up, that's first thing you need to know abaut me. If you're gonna date my best friend " I said
" That's all I'm asking, I can't ask anything more than to try. So I have your approval?"
" Trust me I want that girl to be happy if it's with you then so be it. I Actually I think I'm gonna go talk with Jes right now I think it's better to ask abaut it to her face to make this over phone"
" Be careful I want to have element of surprise on my side"
" That might be impossible but I think I can make her to talk to you."
" Jes wasn't kidding when she says that stubborn is understatement of you. But tell her if you have to"
" Should we go?"
" You know I probably would fall for you if you were my kind..."
We were abaut leave when I realized that hadn't said anything for mom
" Mom I'm going to Jes' okay I'll be back for dinner... "
" Okay take care"
I arrived at Jes' place 10 minutes later I decided to go unannounced. I had couple ideas what to say but didn't know was anyhing gonna work.
" Oh hi Emma didn't expect you to come. So what brings tyou here?" Kate asked
" Do you think there is more than one reason for me to come here? So is Jes home or what? " I asked
" In her room of course, please come in. Do you want something?"
" No I'm good. Just out of curiosity has Jes talked you anything abaut boys or anything like possible date perhaps?" I asked
" No I thought that if she talked to someone abaut something like that she would first talk to you guys. So do you know something I don't?"
" Well to be honest I'm not sure, that's what I'm here to find out. I know that something is bothering her and I would like to know what... "
" Well tell me if you find out anything I have to go now..."
" Yeah see you later Kate" I said and she left I went to Jes' rooms door
" Jes open up it's me." I knocked and said
" Emma? What brings you here? Have I missed a call or?" Jes asked
" No decided to just drop by... You know you've been acting pretty weirdly lately, any reason why?"
" Just having a lot in my mind with school possible boyfriend and stuff..." At that moment her phone startted to ring she checked it and ignored it
" You're not gonna answer that? That the possible "boyfriend"? You know you can talk with him if you want to I don't mind or tell your mom..." I said noticing that she was clearly scared
" Maybe later, you're here, you clearly want something so spill it what's on your mind? Is this abaút something to do with the whole double date thing?" Jes said trying to change the subject
" Yeah actually it does we would like you to join us. It would be less suspicous if we are all there together than if we leave the house just me, maybe Erica, Alex and Jack with you it would be like just us girls take my cousins out in the town." I said trying to not sound too suspicious
" And of course you don't mind if I check this with Alex do you, becouse something tells me that there is maybe more to this than there is to the eye..." I relized that I have been caught.
" Why do you have to ask if you've got nothing to hide then you should be able to come anyways, bring your boyfriend even why not turn the double date to a triple date?" I said
" I guess, fine then I'll be there. You guys are gonna need all the help you can get if you want to sneak arround Monica and your parents..." Jes said at that point for a second I thought she might be up to something but never saw what she did coming.
End of the flashback
Yeah I just got pissed off when I realized that she has found out and is gonna force me talk with Melissa one way or another I decided to take the bait. After all I had to talk to her at somepoint anyways. I didn't want to take chance that she would come to my house at somepoint when my mother was home. So I decided that I will tell her mom and try to get some safety through that I knew she probably would blame Emily if Emma asked. " Jes said
Flashback
Jessicas POV
" Jessica, well this is a surprise you should know that Emma isn't here she said that she's gonna meet with you guys. Everything allright?" Rachel asked
" Yeah everything is okay. Decided to stop by before going with them Need to talk to you abaut something. Emma will probably kill me for this but I know this best for her in the long run"
" Well how abaut telling me what's going on. Should I be worried? "Rachel asked
" Depends, I trust you remember Emily Waltham?" I said and trust me when I say that I never forget that look that Rachel had-
" Way too well, don't tell me that she has done something to my daughter I will kill her if she has..." Rachel said looking more mad than ever
" No Emma is fine you saw her today, actually she's even better than ever. She's planning to start seeing a guy..." I said
" Then why asking abaut Emily?" Rachel asked confused
" Well... Emily is back in states and has a son... Do you see where I'm going with this?" I asked with a lot of fear
" You're not gonna say that Emma is gonna start seeing him?"
" She doesn't exactly know who she's dealing with. She does remember that she has hear the name somewhere doesn't remember or want to remember where..."
" What do you expect me to do with this information? I doubt that you don't want me to try stopping her or tell her that I know."
" As I said I want only best for Emma, just like she allways wants the best for me. I want you to start to prepear for returning Emily to your life, becouse let me tell you from what I know abaut Emma you can't stop her even if you want to... So I guess I just wanted to warn you."
" What can you offer for keeping this information out of anyone else? You do realize that I could tell her father forexample."
" You don't want to break the peace you've had for the last 12 years you did say that you're never gonna let the past come between you two right? Maybe I can offer you a way to outsmart Monica if you promise to keep this information to yourself..."
" Hmm... You're a smart girl you know that. Fine I'm game I want to play arround Monica so you've got your self a deal. What do you know?"
" Well Emma and Alex are planning a double date on friday Emma with Daniel and Alex with Jack..."
"Wait you mean Jack as in Emmas cousin Jack now you're bluffing that can't be right. And of course you want me to let this go through right? But what do you gain from this I still can't see why are you doing this?"
" Well I suggest you pay attention to those twos behavior on friday they are planing on taking me and Erica with them also. For what I gain from this, I'll keep that information for myself for now." When I finished this sentance Monica interupted me

Emmas POV
" So wait you knew abaut this whole thing before and you didn't tell me anything abaut it? We could have had so much fun toying with these guys kind of like you were toying me and Chandler when we tried to hide from you guys." Monica complained
" Sorry Too good of a chance to toy with you and besides we all messed up with our relationships I think these guys and girls deserve their chance to just go out without us being on their asses abaut it. And now everyone knows isn't it the most imporant thing" Rachel said
" You're too good to them..." Ross said
" I just want the best of them we need to let them date and feel sad and love and everything on their own. I don't want them to go through same that we went through."
" Actually that reminds me of something... Since there is our 10th year anniversery coming up. And I got something back that I should have given you all that time ago but I thought it was long gone.
Rachel I've loved you all this time even more than I ever thought possible and you showed tonight that you're truly over the past and set your sight in the future. I would love to spend the rest of my life with you and I think it's time for us to do something *Ross takes out his grandmas rings box* Rachel Geller will you renew our wedding vows with me?"
" Of course I will but where did you get that ring back I thought it was long gone" Rachel said without any hesitation
" Well if you forgive the past you may find what you seek from it... Sorry mom that I had to be so mysterious today, trust me it hasn't been easy for me either. And sorry that I locked you up" I said
" Wait you're behind this? But where did you find the ring?" Rachel asked
" Where do you think? Isn't it pretty obvious..." I said looking at Emily
" I don't even know what to say. Sorry all the trouble I put you through. And sorry Emily for everything I've done, I hope we can be friends."
" Hey don't be I think this night has shown us that we can be friends but only of course if I'm welcome to celebrate your anniversery" Emily said
" I don't think kids would forgive me if you weren't welcome so of course" Rachel said
" And lets just say that I may just have a surprise or two up my sleeves for you guys, if you guys behave." I said
" We can't wait to find out" Mom and dad said like from one mouth
We told the whole story and everyone laughed and had seriously a good time. Even Monica and Chandler promised to invite Alex over. But I still had a feeling that Monica wants to get back at me for what I did and I knew I just had to be careful
" I guess you weren't kidding when you said that I didn't have any idea what Emma has done over the last month" Kate said
" I give you all a fair warning for the future: Do not underesitmate me. I have ways to find out when people go against me and plot behind my back."
" Well you still managed to miss one thing Emma that I managed do behind your back. Isn't it right Daniel?" Jes said
" Well Emma you managed to scare the hell out of my mom by asking that ring back she thought that you were gonna propose to me it took me a while to convince her that you're not gonna propose just yet and don't worry neither am I. But that gave me an idea, I should give you something if everything goes perfectly tonight, so I consulted your friends and heard that you just have gotten a new necklace from your step brother so I decided to give you something else" He said while giving me a box
" You didn't have to but it's beatiful come here you" I opened the box and saw a beatiful bracelet he put it on me and I gave him a deep kiss
" Jees why don't you two get a room" I heard from my parents and we startted to laugh
" Maybe we should..." I said
" Do you guys mind if not just yet. No hurry right?" My mom said
" Mom take it easy I was just joking, I'm in no hurry to go to that appartment just yet. And can't I take a guy to my room for anything else than that one thing" I said when my mom looked at me
" Of course you just sounded like it would be that one thing you would be doing." Mom said
" Sorry abaut that didn't mean to scare you.." I said
" By the way you never told how did you and Emily met for the first time. You said that you didn't remember her at first right"
" Yeah well it came out of nowhere we decided to have little pre date over a cup of coffee..."
Flashback
Emmas POV
"Well this is nice, no preasure if someone comes we can say that we're doing some schoolwork" I said we had our math books open
" Yeah I like this too, are you nervous for tomorrow?"
" Couldn't be more nervous if I tried, just hoping that everything will go atleast decently"
" I hope that too. Just hoping that my mom won't question it too badly when I have to leave." Dan startted look me with passion
I don't know what happend next. We just lost it for a moment startted to kiss of course at that moment Emily had to bust in
" Well I don't know abaut you but if subject biology I would say your tutoring methods are off. " Emily said I still didn't recognize her
" What if she's my girlfriend, what then?" Dan asked I was shocked that he would just tell without trying of course it would have been pointless
" Then I would like to have introductions I'm Daniels mom Emily Waltham" Have to say that I've never been so scared than at that moment. The whole story came to my mind at that second and part of me wanted to runaway as fast as I can but some part of me just wanted to stay and try to make this work.
" Name is Emma Geller nice to meet you." I tried to calm myself
" Wait Geller please tell me your Monicas kid not Ross'."
" Can't do madam Ross Geller is my father and yeah I've heard a thing or two abaut you but don't worry I don't judge anyone on something someone else says." I said hoping that she wouldn't judge me
" Well judging from your looks I don't have guess twice whos your mother has anyone told you how much you remind of her" Emily said now I was confused
" Only just abaut everyone who has seen both of us..." I said
" Hey relax Emma I'm not gonna want you to stop becouse of your parents actually I would love to have peace with them " Emily said smiling
" So your okay with this?" I asked to make sure
"Of course you seem like a smart kid, you can probably arrange so that I can meet with your parents. We could say I owe you a favor if you can make it happen..." She said and that gave me an idea
" Well I'm not planing to tell for little while I want know that this will work." I said
" It's fine believe me I can understand, why you want to take your time... " Emily said with comforting voice
" But I could use that favor right now if possible..."
" Well tell me and I'll think abaut it.."

Well I told her the whole story and she agreed to help and well you guys know the story afterwards...
Well finally got over this whole story arc would really appreciate some feedback of it if not through reviews then send me a private message or something. Could really use some feedback if I have some major mistakes in the story or something that bothers you guys then tell me and maybe I'll fix them
But please as allways Favorite, follow and maybe even leave a review there is gonna be 2-3 episodes before the season finale so we're closing in so hope you would like to see season two I pretty much allready have plot for it planned...
