Chapter 17: The one with morning after dates part 1
Ross' POV
I saw Rachel sitting in the kitchen sipping coffee... I decided to try talking with her before either of the lovers woke up. Knowing Emma it would probably take awhile for her to wake up
" Don't freak out but Daniel is sleeping in Emmas room..." I startted.
" Do you think that's news for me? You just have to accept that your little girl is growing up and having boyfriend over night, she said that they wouldn't do anything but sleep and I didn't catch anything that would have made me think anything else. Emma is a smart girl she knows that she cant sleep with a guy on her first one on one date..." Rach said
" Even smart girl does mistakes in love... "
" True but smart girl knows how to make rules clear to her boyfriend and smart boy knows how to respect his girlfriend... Trust me, I won't do anything before she wants to do more.. " I heard as I saw Daniel coming down the stairs.
" Wise words coming from a teenager. Good morning to you too. Did you sleep well?" Rachel asked
" Better than in ages. Have to say I was so nervous abaut last night but everything went so perfectly that I got a good night sleep." Dan said happily
" So was your night any good depite not getting to have what originally planed" I asked
" I would say it was even better than it would have been without having to babysit, so I guess I owe you big time mrs. Geller. " Dan said
" I think we're just abaut even, so how was the babysitting it self? Did Jake have good time? And please call me Rachel"
" From what I can tell he had a blast I guess he tells when he wakes up. I owe him a story from night but that's no problem for me if he wants it now." Dan said
" Well I think you should prepear reading it to him becouse he doesn't just forget promise like that." I said knowing that Jake isn't one to forget
" As I said I have no problems with that, you guys have amazing kids. I'll gladly do this again if needed and I don't think Emma has any objections either if she can have me over"
" I think we can manage that I just think we want not to interfear your dates anymore than this..." Rachel said
" Emma can and wants to babysit I can tell you that, but give her a fair warning couple days earlier and she wont take it personally." Daniel said
" Well let's see what he thinks abaut this... It sounds like he's waking up" Rachel said going upstairs
Daniels pov
"Good morning Dan and dad." I heard small voice coming down the stairs regocnized it as Jake
" Good morning Jake did you sleep well?" I asked as he came downstairs and hugged me
" Yeah, but you owe me a story..." Jake said
" I know I do but how abaut if you eat some breakfast and I'll read right after that?" I asked
" You'll be gone by then..." Jake worried
" Do you think that I would promise something to you in front of your parents and then break that promise right after? If I want to be with your sister I need to have good relationship with your parents and you too..." I said
" True, you not leave before you read me right?"
" Hey I won't even leave this table before you've finished your breakfast, okay? Then you'll get a book and I read right after that okay?"
" Okay" he said as he startted to eat.
He ate pretty fast and soon afterwards ran to upstairs to get a book. He came down as I startted to wonder when Emma was gonna wake up, but I decided to concentrate on reading for now
" Once upon time there was kingdom far far away..." I began but noticed Emma standing on door
" Hey don't let me interupt, you owe it to him, I'll go get some breakfast just wanted to say good morning" Emma said smiling
" And your parents said that you're not much of a morning person, well I'm guessing its abaut company, but good morning to you too I'll read and then join you, okay" I asked
" Don't flatter yourself... Well no need to hurry, take your time Jake really likes you... Why don't you both come to kitchen when you're done, I doubt that mom and dad are done with you just yet..."
I took my time and actually read couple stories just becouse I wanted to make up for him that I didn't read him at the evening Emma had allready went to kitchen to face her parents
Emmas POV
" Well haven't seen you smiling that wide at this time in the morning. I'm guessing you had good night, or was it just the company?" My dad startted
" Well I guess having boyfriend over did help sleeping and waking up, So did you guys allready scare him by quetioning him?" I asked
" Well did he look scared when you checked on him reading to your brother?" My mom asked noticing I checked him out
" I guess not... That guy is just so amazing you know that. Best part was that he managed to catch me complitely off guard... "
" We believe you. Was that bolognese any good? He did call me and asked some tips what you might like. And of course I mentioned that you came to shop earlier..."
" I think Dan put the rest of it to fridge if you guys wanna taste, but for me it was just abaut perfect."
" I think that's all that really matters that it was perfect for you, besides I don't think it would be half as good now. I mean that's been sitting in the fridge over night and when it was made for you it was made with love and then there was the whole exitment thing going on"
" Trust me if it's tenth as good as it was, it's worth of tasting. Of course it can be a little much for a breakfast but please by all means taste it"
" Well I guess we have no choice, do you guys have any plans for today?"
" Not any I that I know of, but you never know abaut Dan..." I startted as Dan walked in with Jake
" Never know what abaut me?" He asked and came to kiss me
" That do you have something planned with me for today or was this it so do speak?"
" Can't get enough of me huh? Well I think I have to atleast visit home today, but what if you come check my place out, maybe not over night but to just see what is it like? And I think my mom would like to talk to you abaut last night as well..."
" 2 third degrees on one day? Well why not... Of course if its okay with you two?" I said looking at my parents
" I think it's only fair, but how abaut we keep family weekend at the next one? You've spent so much time with your friends and boyfriend lately that we could use some time with you too" Mom said
" Well if you guys don't mind going to check Jes' judo tournament then of course, but there is no way I'm gonna miss that especially now since Jes is going out with her biggest rival. That's gonna be intresting... But how abaut the next one after that? I'm not doing anything then, I could take a weekend off of boyfriend or girls besides next after that is your 10th anniversery. So I guess you guys want to take the time off of me then" I said
"You're awfully busy for a teenager you know that right? Well I think we can set that as a weekend for us... " Mom said
" I know and I know that I haven't given much time for you guys. But I promise that, I'll take one weekend for just family of course..." I said
We still talked for a while they had a real third degree on us but I think we managed to convince them that we aren't gonna do anything anytime soon. We left I was exited to see Dans place and a little scared to talk with Emily but I knew that I had to do it eventually and as I say no better time than the present... But my parents continued the discussion abaut their plans without us...
Rachel's POV
" What were you thinking she needs to have the weekend after the next one free if we want to keep our promise to Alex..." Ross startted
" Well this is just abaut best way of keeping her of finding anything abaut it don't you think?" I said winking
" Oh sneaky now I get where she got her hiding skills..." Ross gave me a look
" Well we still need to be careful she can catch on from the smallest clues as we have found out..."
" True but now we have much more easier time since she should be off our backs for now."
" True but can Alex keep it as a secret that's the true question..." Ross startted to wonder
We talked abaut how fast Emma has grown from little girl to young woman I just hoped that she would enjoy her youth and not try to rush things...
Emma's POV
" So are you nervous abaut this?" Dan asked me
" Why would I be? I have met your mother and I know she likes me... There is no reason to be scared now, everything is finally as I have wanted it to be. Now it's more like a casual visit." I said wondering why would Dan even think abaut me being scared
"You do realize that this is the first time officially dating that we go visit my mom and I have just slept in same bed as you. She might have quite few questions to us." Dan said clearly trying to prepear me
" We didn't do anything and she can't be much worse than my parents were... Hey we have to just get used to this kind of things. Our parents just care abaut us, they want us to be careful that's all. "
"I know. My mom can just be so over protective sometimes that it's not even funny... But hey let's not let it bother us. My mom likes you and that's all that matters. We just have to show our parents that we are careful, responsible and we won't repeat our parents mistakes..." Dan said as we came to his place
" Mom I'm home!" He shouted
" Oh did you have fun with Emma? You know that you could have called that you're staying overnight... Oh you're not alone... Hi Emma" Emily said
" Hi Emily. I hope you don't mind me stopping by, we figured that you might have some questions. I guess you can figure out that we had a blast but nothing but sleeping happend. " I said pretty nervously
" Are you gonna stay over night here?" Emily asked curiously
" No I think I'm just droping by... Thought it would be fair for to be answering questions here too and checking this place out as well, I mean that we're gonna stay here too probably time to time..." I said
" Well of course you guys are gonna stay here too that's why I asked if you were gonna stay overnight.
" So you're not worried abaut what has or will happen?" I asked in disbielf
" I trust you guys are careful and I know that you don't do anything before you're ready. I trust Ross and Rachel have questioned you guys enough so just enjoy your time here I can talk with Daniel later. Just tell if your gonna stay for lunch and I'll get something for us, allways remember Emma that you're allways welcome here." Emily said
" Well thanks, I guess I could... It's good to know that we have one place where we can be in peace..."
" What do you mean?" Emily asked
" I mean that when we are at my place I feel like I'm under supervision even if it's just the two of us, I'll talk abaut it but I doubt that it wont change..."
We had lunch and talked alot abaut everything and decided that I would spend this night at home alone this time, surprisingly I didn't have that much questioning after I got back.
At the next day we decided to have a little after date meeting with the girls I was more than exited to hear what had happend on their dates too...
Jessicas POV
"So who wants to go first?" I asked knowing that it would probably be me
" Your face looks like that it wants to tell a story so why don't you begin..." Alex said
" Well as long as you guys tell your stories I don't mind going first... Well the date itself was pretty basic some movie and dinner afterwards, but something intresting happend afterwards we happend to run into a familiar asshole..." I startted
" Linda?" Came from both Alex and Emma
" Bingo, well needless to say that she found out what I was doing there with Melissa. If we are lucky we may get part two of our meeting today, if it happens I don't want you guys to do anything. I'll teach you guys a history lesson abaut her and another familiar face, too bad she's not here to see this she would deserve this too..." I said as I noticed Linda coming in to cafe...
"Well if it isn't the lesbian trio. You said that you're not in the closet so it is fair to say right?" Linda startted Emma nodded to me with a smile showíng me that she trust's this to me
" Well I'm not in the closet but I'm the only lesbian of this croup... It's not too long ago since your group had twice as many as this." I said Emma and Alex watched me weirdly
"What do you mean? your not seriously trying to say that my group would have some girl who doesn't like boys. You're just trying to bluff to make me lose my focus."
" Well there still is, even if you don't want to admit it. You destroyed a promising start for a relationship by threatning Rose, oh yeah my girlfriend told me all abaut it. I wondered why you are so much against it, but then it hit me. You don't hate girls who are gay you just hate the fact that you can't be who you are, face it you've never had a boyfriend of your own even if there are guys pretty much in line who would do anything to get you. You just toy with some boy time to time to keep your act up, you think you have enough authority to keep it up but when Rose Startted to see trought you, you startted to force her to get a boyfriend so you could get her afterwards only problem was though that she said she had to move to London so you couldn't get her so you kicked her out of the group..." I startted
" You have nothing to prove that... Just a groundless theory nothing more..." She said clearly little scared
" I'll prove it if I have to, but I'm a reasonable girl so leave now and stop bothering me and my friends or girlfriend and we will keep your secret safe, do we have a deal?" I asked
" Well I want to see you prove since you're clearly bluffing" She said as I took out my phone called and put the speaker on
" Hi Jes it's Melissa" I heard from the otherside
" Yeah hi well the thing we talked abaut last night happend now could you stop by the coffee shop and bring the thing we talked abaut?"
" Yeah I'll be right there. I still can't believe that she think's that you would be bluffing after last night... But I'll be right there so see you soon bye"
" You're bluffing she has nothing..."
" We shall see abaut that, but I know she has enough to convince these guys and probably even everyone else too,you can imagine what will that result to.. You can still run away if you like and I won't blame you." I said as Melissa walked into cafe
" Hi girls and Linda." Melissa said coming to our table
" Well hello to you too, well don't keep us in suspennce show us what you got..." Linda said still clearly scared
" I guess this is the way you want to come out of the closet well fine then don't blame us then." Melissa said taking out her phone

Linda and Rose are talking abaut couple months back
" Why can't you realize, that I deeply in love with you?"Linda startted
" Then why did you forced me to get a boyfriend, I could have taken you six months ago but now I'm happy with a guy and there is nothing that you or Melissa can do abaut it" Rose said clearly mad
" Well fine but realize that you're out of the group if you do that" Linda said
" Fine by me since I'm moving anyways in couple months to London. I might drag you out of the closet before that if you interfear too much so just leave me alone." Rose said and startted to walk away
" You're the only one who knows and no one would believe you anyways, but walk away from your feelings thats a good way to handle things..."
" I'm not running away from anything, unlike you and just so you know if you're not careful I might find a way to prove this but as long as you leave me alone you and your little secret is safe..." Rose said

" Well I didn't expect that to be honest." Emma said as Linda ran away
" Why didn't she show us that, when she came to Emmas birthday Linda almost attacked her, wasn't that enough reason to come forward with that..." Alex said
" I guess she didn't want to take chance that you guys think she is still gay..." Melissa said.
" Still kinda sad even if it's her. That she has to runaway from her feelings..." Emma said
" Wow I never thought that you would feel sorry for Linda..." Alex said
" Even she is still a human... I think." Emma said
" True but how abaut you guys tell now that how was your dates?" I asked getting curious
they told their stories I got a feeling that Alex didn't tell everything so did Emma but we decided to let it go for now... We knew she would tell us everything in due time...
Next time we continue with the one with Judo tournament. What will happen? Well as allways you have to read to find out, next time is gonna also have some backround stories... but untill then. Favorite, review, follow any of those would mean alot to me.
