Season 1 finale : TOW anniverseries part 1: The one with Emma and Jessica
Emmas POV
I was sitting at my computer friday after school, I was kind of surprised that my mom didn't give any clues what was gonna happen at the weekend. I heard that other girls were gonna spend time with their families too, I guess they wanted to make so that none of us needed to feel bad becouse of spending time with just families. My mom knocked on my door...
" Yeah, come in..." I shouted
" You have a moment?" My mom asked
" Yeah sure, I've taken the whole weekend just for you guys, so what's up?"
" So you are still up for the weekend?"
" Do you even have ask that? I'm girl of my word if I say I'm okay with it then I'm okay with it, so what are we gonna do?" I decided to ask
" That's gonna stay secret for now, but we decided that we will start from coffee house at 12 tomorrow are you okay with that?" My mom asked I wondered a little but thought that that it's as good as anyother place...
" Fine by me, you guys appearently want me to be awake there, I appreciate it. So tomorrow at 12 from coffeeshop?" I comfirmed and mom nodded
" Just so you know we really appreciate this and we do understand that you have a life of your own." Mom said leaving and went to talk with my dad
" That doesn't mean that I won't have time for you guys if you want" I shouted to my mom. who smiled and walked away...
Rachel's POV
" So everything allright? She has no idea what's gonna happen tomorrow?" Ross asked me
" As far as I can tell sbe is as clueless as possible. It's good to know that I haven't lost ability to keep a secret from her complitely..." I said back smiling
" I think her problem is that she doesn't expect something like this to happen... I think this whole "family weekend" thing got her so concentrated that she decided to let you have it your way"
" Can you believe that it's actually been 10 years for Emma and Jessica too, it seems that it was just yesterday that they were here playing... They have allways been such a pair that I'm more than glad to help them and Alex to celebrate..."
" By the way do you have any idea what she has planned for us? I mean it's our anniversery and she promised something special..."
" She has had so much time to plan it without us even knowing abaut it so I guess we have to wait and see..."
" I think we could use a family day sometime too... Maybe we could even ask if Ben wants to come too."
" True well this is only gonna take on sunday so I guess we could ask if she want's to do it sunday..."
" Hey I'll go call Ben, this is gonna be so much fun..." Ross said kissed me and left
I have allways admired Emma she cares abaut her friends and family just as much. It feels like last fourteen years that she has been in my life has been a dream. I have a husband who would do anything for me and a teenage daughter who doesn't cause any troubles and everything seems just perfect. I honestly hate lying to her, but she hasn't exactly been complitely open either so this is also a little lesson for her...
Emmas POV
Next day I woke up at 11 to notice that everyone had allready left somewhere, well we said that we would leave from coffeeshop at 12 so I didn't think abaut it that much. I noticed a note on kitchen table.
Good morning Emma
We left to do some preperations for the family weekend. Just come to coffeeshop at 12 and we will pick you up from there.

Note made me smile it had been a while since we had spend time with the whole family and I was seriously looking forward to this.
I went to coffeeshop 15 minutes early, just in case they would be a little early. No such a luck. I sit down and waited, 10 minutes went by and no one seemed to come. All of a sudden a familiar face showed up on the door, but none of those who I expected to come...
" Jes over here" I shouted I decided to have a little talk with her, no harm if they show up I'll be ready to go
" Emma? What are you doing here?" Jes asked clearly a little confused
" You know, any other day I would ask why do you need to ask that question, but I let it slide today so I'm waiting for my family to show up, how abaut you?
" Well I'm waiting for my mom too she wanted to go shopping with me... Told that she would meet me here." Jes said
" Okay so we are both waiting for our parents who are all late? I smell a rat..." I said realizing that they should be here allready.
" You're paranoid Emma, they are not that much late yet if your brother and sister are coming too then they probably just slowed your parents down a little. My mom can be late, just becouse..."
" True this might be just a coincidence, but if the next person who comes here is Alex and none of our parents I then I think I'm right." I said
" You were saying?" Jes said pointing Alex at the door
" Okay this is no coincidence that's for sure but what is going on?" I startted to wonder
" I don't know but maybe Alex does, Alex over here!" Jes shouted the last part
" What are you two doing here? I was supposed to meet my parents here and spend a little family day..." Alex said, me and Jes looked eachother
" Yeah that's what we are doing here too, but let's just say that I have a strong feeling that our family day may be canceled..."
" Well what if you call one of your parents?" Alex said
" That's not a half bad idea... I'll call... Goes straight to answering machine..." I said putting down my phone
" Well I have a feeling that it's the same case for all of us but doesn't hurt to try... Nope as I thought not gonna happen, what now?.." Jes asked
" Well could it still be a coincidence?" I said noticing another familiar figure on the door
" Hey Ben over here!" I shouted
" Hi Emma, what are you doing here?" Ben asked
" Well I'm here most of the time outside of school or if I'm somewhere with these girls, you remember Jes and Alex don't you? I'm here today to start a family day but somehow I'm getting a feeling that it might be canceled... So what are you you doing here? " I said
" Well dad told me that Jake is gonna go with Monica and Bella with Sophia and they would spend this day just two of them, are you sure that you haven't misunderstood something?" Ben asked me
" Well judging how exited my mom has been abaut this weekend I'm having troubles to believe that this would be just a misunderstanding, this has been planned, but for what?" I said
" Weird... But how abaut I offer you girls coffees do you want something to them? I need to go but I'll ask bringing them to you" Ben asked we told and he went to get them and left
" I'm guessing you're Emma, Jessica and Alexandra?" Waitress came to us with the coffees and an envelope
" Yeah that's us." I said and she left coffees and envelope
" So they used Ben as a messenger..." Jes said
" Seems that way. Who want's to do the honours?" I asked
" Well how abaut you? It was given to you after all..." Alex said
" Fine, wait what there is money here... 500 dollars to be exact, what the heck is going on?" I asked as I opened the envelope
" Anything else?" Jes asked
" A letter. pretty much as I expected... I'll read it." I said as I began

You guys have sPend time with your bOy/girlfriends a lot lately, so we deCided that you girls need a girls day more than family day. So we give you a little money use it as you wish. TaKe carE of eachoTher, okay?

"That's all?" Alex asked
" That's all that it says... Check it if I'm missing something" I said
" Emma check your pocket's. I think you missed the only clue that we got for this..." Jes said
" What? Okay... What the... I haven't put this in here." I said as I took a peace of paper out of my pocket
" What does that say?" Jes asked
" The double date, nothing more..."
" Is this suppose to be some sort of clue? And if it is then for what they said that we can spend money as we wish?" Jes asked
" They trust that we are intrested enough that we will investigate this furhter, I say your call do we just have fun or see where this goes?"
" I'd say this is fun anyways so they gave us so much money that why not to do as they want, we can stop at any point and start to have fun if we wish..." Alex said
" True let's see where this goes first, if we hit wall then we can just start having fun..." Jes said
" Fine by me any ideas..." I startted but heard a echoing voice of my mom "Remember you are never alone, you can allways count on your friends you guys are like a team."
" Emma are you okay? You look like you got some idea..." Jes asked
" Check your pockets, both of you I don't think this is everything that there is to this..." I said quickly and they both startted to check their pockets...
" Found it" Came from both of them
" As I thought what do they say?"
" Where was... The first..." They said
" Where was the first double date? Well I think we all know the answer to that..."
" But is it the movie teather or the pizza place?" Jes asked
" Well they are not that far apart so we can easily go check both..."
" Well then what are we waiting for then let's get this thing startted..." Jes said
" I'll go to bathroom before that okay?" Alex asked
" Sure" Came both of us. I startted smiling when she got out of sight...
" Wait what is that smile abaut? Do you know more than neither of us does? Spill it sis, I know that look on you... I want to know what the heck is going on..." Jes startted
" I know more than you, but I highly doubt that I would know more than Alex..." I said
" I think that Alex knows just abaut as much as I do, so tell me what is going on..." Jes demanded
" Fine, you seriously still think that our parents are truly behind this don't you? What if I told you that they have only helped the true mastermind behind this? I have to give her credit she managed to catch both of us pretty badly off guard. The true question still remains: for what?" I said
" Wait are you saying that Alex is behind this? What is she up to? She knows that if she wants a girlsday then all she has to do is ask..." Jes asked clearly intrested
" Alex is behind this that much is for sure, but what she's up to, for that I've no idea. I checked my pockets before I stepped in here and I know I would have noticed that peace of paper then. Ben was never close enough to put it in there that leaves only one option..."
" So what should we do? Call her out on it?"
" Maybe we should just go along with it for now, she has clearly put some work in to this, so let her have her fun... She stressed lately much more than either of us so let's see what shes got for us."
" Sure, why not? This could be fun..."
" So you girls ready?" Alex asked as she came back
" Sure" We both said
We startted to walk towards our date place I still wasn't sure what was going on. Everything just seemed not to make any sense I didn't think that Alex would have this much in her, that she could keep secret this well from us... We had missed some obvious clue I wasn't just sure what... We were almost at the movie teather and we heard a familiar voice...
" Hey Jessica wait up" As expected it was Melissa
" Hi Melissa what are you doing here?" Jes asked
" Kind of a deja vu don't you think? Well let's continue then, you know why I'm here and you know what I want. I hope you have learned something from back then..." Melissa said I noticed she has a envelope probably for us
" Well how abaut I do something I wanted to do even back then so badly. No fearing this time. I hope you're ready" Jes said and crabbed her in to a deep kiss
" Wow you're still good. Well I think you guys deserve this... But I have orders to leave you guys alone since you're having a girlsday." Melissa said and gave envelope and left
" Well let's see then what's next? What the... This is empty." Jes said as she opened the envelope.
" Wow have to say that you're sleeping today your girlfriend put it in your pocket while you were kissing. I guess we have to pay attention what's happening arround us too..." I said
" Only problem is that there is nothing in my pockets that would give us clues..." Jes said looking at her pockets.
" What? I could have sworn... " I startted but got interupted by Alex
" You think I would pull same trick on you twice? Shame on you Emma. Since when have you realized that it was me? Sorry girls, I could have helped you, but a little warning abaut you two knowing would have been nice, so you two have to figure this one out on your own..."
" Alex I only wanted to give you credit for your work. I saw that you clearly had put in some effort to get us tricked I didn't want to call you out on it from the start... I wanted to play along. Should have known that you are not gonna pull same trick twice sorry abaut that. But I can tell you we're both as clueless as possible for what you're trying to pull on us... I'm sorry."
" I expected you to catch on me, but didn't think it would happen this fast. What gave me away? By the way I'm not going back on wanting you two to solve this on your own... For what I'm trying to pull on you that you couldn't have figured out yet I have made it impossible, but if your smart enough you can figure it out before anything happens..." Alex said clearly a little upset
" Well just so you know we are both looking forward to it. You should have known me better I allways check that I have everything I need before I go anywhere I would have known if to note was in my pocket before entering the cafe and Ben was never close enough to pull it of so it left only you..."
" Well how abaut you two try to solve my little puzzle, you have everything you need to solve it with you and by the way I´m okay with this I guess I was a fool to think that I could fool you two that easily..." Alex said
" Well show me that envelope then I'm thinking that it might hold the answer after all" I said as Jes handed it over
" I checked it pretty carefully I would have noticed if there was something unusual abaut it..." Jes said
" Wait, unusual abaut it? That's it there is nothing unusual abaut it now is there? This was the point where we were suppose to find out abaut it...
"Wow you're good. But don't you two dare to think that this day is over we have barely scrached the surface of it..." Alex said we realized that we still basicly know nothing, so Alex still has the lead
" How abaut since we are here, we go and have lunch I think we both think better if we are full." Jes said
" Sure why not since you revealed your cards, maybe I should give you guys a reward for that, after you two if you don't mind." Alex said we realized that the money were with her... We stepped in to the pizza place
" God I remember it like it was yesterday..." I startted but got cut off by voice from behind
" Well it's been two and half months so it would be kind of sad if you had allready forgotten our first date..." I realized that Dan was behind me
" Well kinda figured that since Jes got her moment with Melissa I will get mine with you..." I startted but got silenced by a kiss
" Follow the white rabbit..."Dan whispered to me, clearly someone had told him that Alice in the wonderland was one of my favorite stories as a kid. I wasn't sure what he meant but I figured that it would come clear sooner or later...
" Thanks, I'll see you later..." I said and kissed him one last time before he left
" What did he say?" Jes asked me
" I'll worry abaut it later, but now I wanna eat, I'm starving..." I said and we ordered
We ate and I startted to think abaut what Dan said I was thinking that perhaps there is more to it than there is to the eye but I didn't found anyother clues on me. We left the pizzeria and came to street I noticed a guy giving flyers... Searching for clues I decided to give it a shot...
" Are you girls intrested in bowling we have a special offer just tonight "guy said giving me a flyer. I noticed something and responded right back
" Yeah sure we will be there thanks..." I said
" Hey wasn't Alex supposed to be in charge of this? How did you know that this was what she was meant you to do?" Jes asked clearly confused
" Well Alex has talked abaut wanting to go bowling ever since she got back from her weekend with Jack, besides Dan told me to follow the white rabbit so I did..." I said
" What?" Jes asked I had clearly lost her
" Well look at that..." I said pointing the white rabbit on the flyer
" Have to say clever from Dan to be honest he knew that you would keep your eyes open if he gave you a clue like that. I didn't say what he had to do I just told what I wanted to do and told him to give you some sort of clue of it... But Emma is right as usual I hope you girls are ready for some bowling becouse that's what we are doing next" Alex said
" Well why not it's been awhile since have been bowling so I think you better hope that you learned something when being with Jack and guys otherwise your gonna get your ass handed to you..." I said
" So Jack told you how my bowling went, well you'll be surprised..." Alex said
" So when are you gonna tell us what's really going on? I don't think you did all this to just get us bowling..."
" All in good time girls, all in good time, dont be so impatient. For now let's just have fun I have a feeling that if Emma is as smart as she has been so far she might get some idea what's going on..." Alex said
" Emma if you even think that you know something that this might be abaut I want to know abaut it, okay? " Jes said looking at me
" Trust me I will, but now I don't have even a guess..." I said still wondering what have I missed
" Well look at that we are here..." Alex said as we stepped in
" Yes can I help you?" Girl behind the desk asked
" Yes we have track reservation under Walter."
" Yes we have track 10 for you girls as you wished ."
" Why did you wish for track 10 wouldn't any track done the trick just nicely?" Jes asked
" Well actually no, not today it wouldn't have. For why number 10 that's for me to know and you two to find out..." Alex said
" Wait us two, number ten, trip down memory lane?" I startted realize
" Now you lost me again Emma..." Jes said
" I think she just realized..." Alex said
" Why didn't I realize this before? Jes, now I know why this day hasn't made any sense so far..." I startted
" Well go on, I'm listening" Jes said
" Alex you shouldn't have gone through all this trouble... Jes, Alex is throwing us a little anniversery of our own..." I said and Alex startted to smile
" Anniversery? What? Wait number 10? Do you mean it's really been 10 years we have been friends?" Jes startted to catch on
" Well took you girls long enough... And Emma a 10 years is a long time for friendship too, besides we needed a legit girlsday anyways without guys or anything like that. You guys desrve this. I would say I leave you two alone now but I highly doubt that you wouldn't let me do that."
" You can bet your ass that we're not gonna let you leave, you are part of this have allways been ever since we met you, we would be nothing without you... How abaut we start the whole bowling thing now." I said
We bowled for hour, we were pretty even Alex had clearly upped her game from what I heard from Jack, after awhile decide_&d to take a break. We were just sitting and talking...
" Did you think 3 months ago that it would take this much effort to get us three to have a girlsday?" Jes asked smiling
" Well no, but you gotta remember that if someone would have told me three months ago that you would be dating a girl now I would have kept her nuts... By the way. How's your mom taking it Jes?" Alex asked
" I know but I'm happier than ever, I know that's all that matters in the long run. And my mom is gonna realize that sooner or later..." Jes said
" I have an idea of making it a little easier for her, let's just hope that she not complitely against it..." I said
" What are you planning now Emma?" Jes asked clearly a little worried
" Well let's just say that I have a plan to make her see that we are all behind you, that's all. That includes you too Alex..."
" I have a feeling I know what you're planning you better ask Dan and Jack before going trough with it..." Alex said
" What abaut Melissa?" Jes asked
" Well I think she has no problem if you have one dance with another girl do you of course I'll ask if she is okay with it don't even think abaut it, but I think she's gonna understand when I'll tell her what for..." I said
" I'm guessing you're gonna dance with me... Who's gonna dance with Alex?"
" Well I was thinking Erica but of course I have to ask from her too... I don't think she would mind dancing with her sister in law..." I said
" Okay, I guess. Are you trying to get our boyfriends to dance together as well?"
" Well I can't force them of course but I think it's fair to ask atleast..."
" Well I don't think they are gonna agree this is much bigger thing for guys than it is for girls you know Emma." Jes said
" Well how abaut if we worry abaut our boyfriends sometime later, I think you're not done yet Alex."
" I have barely begun, so your right as usual. So how abaut if we continue at my place girls?" Alex asked us and we nodded
We got outside little afterwards there was a sight waiting for us what I expected at the begining of this day all of our parents...
" So have you girls had any fun?" My mom asked
" Yeah everything has been good so far and what we have understood this day has barely just begun..." I said
" So I'm guessing that you have realized what day is it today?" Kate asked us
" Yeah hey thank you, all of you. We didn't realize this or keep this such a big deal but I think that after last weekend we really needed this" Jes said
" Hey marriage is one thing but friendship is still another. 10 years is long time specially when your just 14. You two have stick friends no matter what I think it deserves a celebration so here take this" My father said handing us a box
" What's this?" I asked
" Well I suggest that you guys open it when you get to Alex's place. Let's just say it's a little history lesson..." My mom said.
" Hey thanks, Hey and if you really wanna have family day at somepoint then just say the word and I'll be there. And you know that week from now and I'll get back at you for this." I said pointing at my parents
" Well we were thinking tomorrow... Is that too soon?" My dad asked
" Not at all, I'll be back from this by morning and after that we can do what ever you guys want..." I said
" Okay but I think Alex wants to continue this day so bye for now" Mom said
We left and went to Alex's place she appearently her parents had prepeared true party for us drinks, snacks and stuff like that
" So make yourselfs at home." Alex said to us and we sat down
" Wow you and your parents went all out.." Jes said
" Hey only the best is good enough when it comes down to you two..."
" So do you have some kind of schelude or do we get to be free now?" I asked
" Well rest of the night is up to you, no boy/girlfriends that's the only rule I have from here on."
" Well I guess we can agree to that rule so how abaut we check what's in this first to get this thing startted " I said taking out the box I got from my parents
" As you wish" Alex said with a smile
" Well let's see then what the..? DVD, well I don't know what I was expecting but let's say this wasn't in top 3 that I would have guessed..." I said
" Well let's put it in I have a feeling I know what is in it..." Jes said
" Hmm...?" I asked while putting it in
" Well let's just say that I gaught a climpse what Alex was doing once before we startted working on your parents anniversery video and I have a feeling it's gonna be a little history lesson for us..."

Alex was in front of camera talking
" Hi there Emma and Jessica. It will be while before you guys are gonna see this from now I'm doing this a little after new years... Yeah that's how long I have planned for this... I have made something for you two to remember what friendship is all abaut. I don't know what's gonna happen during the next months but I have a feeling that, somethings might be changed... ( Here was clear jump cut to more recent time) Well a lot has changed since I startted making this video both me and Emma have startted dating and appearently Jessica you're gonna start dating as soon as you come out of the closet. Anyways I'm happy for all of us and here is a little clip from the night of double date Jes that you missed
Emma: "Don't make a move She has to do this on her own"
Alex: "No that girl is a bully don't you see that? Why are you defending her?"
Emma :"You don't see that there is much more to this than there is to the eye." I said back
Alex:"What do you mean Emma?" Alex looked me with confusion
Emma"What if I told you that everyting untill now has been going perfectly according to my plan?" I asked with a wicked smile
Jack, Alex and Erica: "YOU SAID WHAT!?"
Daniel: "That's right Emilys appearence wasn't just a random accident. Neither is Melissa's. Do you really think a Mother wouldn't ask lastname of her son's girlfriend? Don't worry she promised to keep her mouth shut... Abaut you guys that is..."Dan said
Emma: " And what she meant before that we have meet just 2 of us meant that I have to arrange meeting between her and my parents... She has allready forgiven both of them what happend and she likes me alot. And by the way that whole I don't remember Waltham thing..." I began
* Jes stopped the video*
"Well have to say I figured as much next day. As I told you guys I wanted to 100% certain that I wanted to do it before I told you guys..."
" Hey we understand and everything worked out for the best in the end..." I said
" Well how abaut if we continue this then..." Jes said
*Video continues*
Jessica is at tatami after her first Judo tournament which she got knocked out on the first round
" Emma I hate this I got my ass kicked so badly, I'll quit" Jessica said with allmost crying
" No you're not gonna. This was your first match that girl clearly took just advantage of your inexperienced. Take this as a learning experience. Don't rush against your opponent that was your mistake..."
" That was a stupid mistake which won't happen again but still wasn't fun..."
" Well your tournament might be over but let's stay and watch the rest of it. You might learn something. We only fall just so you can rise again..."
*I stopped the video*
" You've came a long way since then..."
" I owe to you so much..."
" So do I, Jes so do I..."
Rest of the video had lot of history pictures from us as babies to nowdays with Daniel and Melissa, Alex had clearly done amazing work on it. After we watched the video we celebrated played games and just had a little normal girls night we promised to get back Alex for what she did and she said that she can't wait.
Well this was the first part of the finale of season/story arc1 it's probably gonna be a three parter next time we continue with the part 2: the one with the family day...
