Season 1 finale : part 2: The one with Family day

Emmas POV

" Mom I'm home" I shouted from the door as I got back from Alex's from last night

" Oh hi honey did you have fun with girls?" Mom asked me

" Don't I allways, besides with that setting I don't think there would have been that many people that I wouldn't have had fun with..."

" That's good to hear. Are you ready for a little family day?"

" Sure, just let me settle down for a bit and grab something to eat and I'll be good to go."

" No need to hurry take your time. we aren't planning to leave before 2 o'clock so we have plenty of time" Dad said. I checked my phone it was 12.

" By the way we invited Ben with us is that okay with you?" Mom asked as I was going to kitchen

" Why would I have problem with that? I consider Ben as family just abaut as much as Jake or Bella. I have never had problems with him he is more than welcome." I said, I guess this good time to do little catch up with him, too bad that Dan can't be there too, so they could meet...

" Well that's good. Oh and by the way we had 2 demands that we would invite one other person to join us..." Mom startted

" Who?" I asked pretty much knowing the answer and getting a little exited

" Well Jake and Ben would want Dan to join us are you okay with that?" Mom asked with a smile

" Having boyfriend on a family day hmm... .Don't ask stupid questions of course I'm glad to have him with us I knew that Ben wanted to meet him at somepoint anyways I guess it's as good time as any." I said

" Well I guess then you guys can come out." Mom shouted and Ben and dan merged from the kithchen

" What the... Am I seriously losing my touch this badly or what's going on? I've been caught off guard twice in last 24 hours thats not just something that shouldn't happen... And why haven't neither of you warned me that you were coming?" I said wondering what was going on

" Sorry, but these guys caught me off guard too Alex send me a message that you wanted to meet me here and said that you had forgotten your phone at home. Rookie mistake I know but I don't complain we've had pretty good conversation with your step brother. So don't worry everything is fine." Dan said

"Sorry Emma but after these guys invited me I couldn't resist but to ask for your friends to ask your boyfriend here and I asked if it was okay if he comes with us too. Oh and by the way I hope you don't mind that I'm planning on taking the preasure off of you..." Ben said whispering the last part

" Fine as I said I have no problems of neither of you being with us. I just would like to know things like this in advance..." I said

" Yeah well I would like to know before I get locked up in a room with one of the persons I hated most at the time, but life doesn't allways work that way" Mom said looking at me...

" Hey I just wanted to be sure that you two will talk and judging what I heard at the begining I think you two wouldn't have been able to do it on open..."

" Hey could have too. I was prepearing to meet her out on the public got caught off guard so badly that I lost my temper that's all..." Mom tried to defend herself that actually gave me an idea...

" As you say, I guess. This is no day to be arguing anyways... Let's concentrate on the family day instead..." I said

" I didn't know that you considered Daniel part of family allready... Well how abaut, if I catch up with these two before we leave?" I said pointing at Dan and Ben

" Sure and hey your boyfriend is family no matter who his mother is..." Mom said

" So what are you up to now, Emma? "Dan asked as we got to my room

" Well she said that you are part of family, so by my logic your mom is too, do you want to call or do I?" I asked

" Are you sure abaut this? Do you really wanna risk fireworks on a family day?" Dan asked me

" I rather take those fireworks today than next week on their anniversery I want to see can they be at the same place at same time..." I said

" You have a point there. But don't you think this is pretty obvious trap to pull off? They might be expecting this after everything you've done" Ben said

"True but I don't do this to piss her off I just want to know that she is okay her coming. To my knowledge they haven't spoken that much since I locked them up..." I said as I took out my phone

" Yeah hi Emma, come downstairs all three of you I'm allready here..." I heard from the otherside as she hang up

" Well I guess that was as obvious trap as it sounded..." Ben said

" I guess but good news is that I don't hear anything from downstairs so it could be that they still have peace over there... But just in case they try to pull something on us I want to talk both of you individually..." I said

We talked for abaut ten minutes and made couple worst case scenario plans. I heard also that Ben had a little secret weapon to take preasure off of me, His own girlfriend. We went to downstairs

" Well surprised?" Emily asked looking at me

" Abaut what you being here or that there is still peace? For you being here yeah a little surprised but having peace that's what I hoped... You know I didn't do this to piss anyone off... "

" Then you should have done it in public then, you worry for nothing Emma. I know you want everything to go perfectly both today and next weekend and I asked Emily to come becouse I knew that if I wont you will and I don't want to give you satisfaction of being one step ahead of me if I don't have to..." my mom said

" Hey if today and next weekend goes well, then I promise that I won't try to pull anything on you two anymore..." I said hoping that everything will go fine

" We hold you to that promise, by the way the original idea of asking Emily to our family day didn't come from or me..." Mom startted

" What? Then from who?" I asked as I noticed Dan startted to look down

"Um..."

" You could have warned me Dan... Before I called her." I said looking at him

" He tried Emma, but you chose not to listen. What I have heard you've gotten cocky during last couple months... That's not like you, so I think you deserved to learn this lesson the hard way." Ben said to me

" Emma you see you've gotten so... " My mom startted, but got cut off by doorbell

" Saved by bell..." Dad said

" Like I didn't see that one coming... And I'm not cocky, I'm confident I don't take risks if I'm not ready to take the worst case scenario... " I said as dad went to open the door followed by Ben who winked me, by that I knew that my worries are over for today

Ben's POV

" Can I help you?" My dad asked

" Yeah I'm looking for Ben Geller-Punch is he here?" Brunette pretty tall girl asked

" Hi Laura, you're finally here. I see you allready met my dad." I said

" Well Laura is it? Nice to meet you Ross Geller. I'm guessing you're his girlfriend?" Dad said offering his hand

" Nice to meet you too Dr. Geller, Laura Mitchell is my name I've heard a lot abaut all of you guys." Laura said

" Well we have heard nothing abaut you so why don't you come in and let's get to know eachother little better before leaving..." Emma said pretty impatiently clearly wanting to get her third degree to be over with

" So I'm guessing you're Emma, Ben praises you alot. Even if you are his little sister it sounds that he looks up to you..." Laura said as we went inside

" In the flesh, so how long have you two been going out?" Emma asked

" 3 months today, Ben have talking alot how we should meet but we have never found the time..." Laura said

" Hey I can only blame myself, I've been way too busy over last months... But as I say better late than never this is my boyfriend Daniel." Emma said pointing at Daniel

" It's a pleasure" Daniel said shaking Lauras hand

" Here comes Jake and Bella" Mom said coming downstairs

" Mom why do we have get a family day? You know I rather hang out with friends..." Bella said clearly a little annoyed

" You spent the whole yesterday Sophia we haven't had a family day for ages and since Emma has finally a day off so do speak we're having one today... Besides you can have the whole weekend with friends next week... You needed meet your brother- and sister in laws. Meet Daniel and Laura." My mom introduced our boy and girlfriend

" Well nice to meet you both if this is family day so do speak, what are they doing here I can get the idea of Ben being here but why Daniel, Laura or specially Emily is here?" Bella asked

" Well you needed to meet them at somepoint anyways, we've been so busy at our own lately that we needed a little gathering anyways. We're doing this you like or not..." My dad said. We got ready to leave

Emmas POV

Bella was allways a bit rebel one of us. She was more into friends than family... She dreams of being a hairdresser. We haven't been that close with her, we both have lifes of our own, but of course I'll do anything to protect her just like for Ben or Jake. As we prepeared to leave I noticed that Laura was clearly worried abaut something but I decided that I will ask abaut it later on a better chance...

" So by the way where we're headed?" I asked

" Well Jake wanted to go to zoo are you okay with that Laura I mean it's kind of childish but it's a family day..." Mom said

" Well why not, it's a family day after all I'm not against a zoo it's been awhile since I've been in one. Hey there are kids with us so why not." Laura answered

We went arround zoo for couple hours Jake was clearly more exited than anyother, I mean it was pretty fun specially since I had boyfriend with me and my father consentrated having third degree on Laura. They told us that they had met at college and it was pretty much love at first sight. Emily consentrated on questioning us and asking abaut my future plans I've allways wanted to be a journalist and I was hoping I could do that at somepoint. Dan had clearly taken my idea of becoming a chef seriously and his mother seemed to agree that he had some talent on it too. Well speaking of food we decided to grab something to eat since we were all getting pretty hungry. After we ate I noticed that Laura was pretty nervous...

" I have to go to bathroom" Laura said

" Of course, honey" Ben said back and she left couple minutes went by I got a hunch what might be going on so I decided to go check on her too

" I'll go to bathroom as well." I said

" Okay" came from everyone

" You know it's kinda risky to take that in here..." I said coming to bathroom noticing Laura there with something in her hand as I suspected it was a pregnancy test... She had a scared look on her face

" God, Emma you scared me this is not what it looks like..." She startted but I cut her off

" As intresting as it would be to hear what else could it be other than what it looks like, I think I rather call you out on it than let you lie. You know it doesn't give that good of a impression... Judging your face that's positive, isn't it?"

" Yes it is, but it's just that it is way too soon..."

" He needs to know if he's gonna be a father... It's his isn't it?" I asked

"Of course it is, we've done it once abaut a month ago... I'm just so affraid that he will leave me when he finds out..." She said almost bursting in to tears

" No he won't and if he does then I'll hunt him down and kill him personally. Just tell him, the sooner the better. He might freak out a little but he will get used to idea. That baby will have a loving grandparents and atleast one loving aunt. He/She doesn't have anything to worry abaut baby is in good hands..." I said

" Thanks Emma, you know for a teenager you're quite grown up. I know I have to tell both him and his father and eventually his mother too, but I'm so scared..." She said

" If you want to do it here then I can be your moral support, just take him outside and tell him, he needs to know. Sooner you tell him, sooner he's gonna be okay with the idea..."

" Ben didn't lie when he said that you're an amizing person, I have to do this on my own but thanks anyways. Hey it's good know that there is someone I can count on in any situation. Wish me luck" She said and left

" Good luck and if you want to talk I'm there for you..." I said

" Do you know what's that abaut?" Mom asked me as I came back pointing Laura and Ben outside hugging

" I do know and judging that, I would say that you guys will find out soon too..." I said

" Is everything allright between them? Was this someway bad time to ask Ben here?" Dad asked

" I hope that everything will be okay between them, well to be honest Ben didn't know either so there was no reason to say no and I guess Laura didn't count on me finding out abaut it..." I said

" Could you be a little less cryptic Emma?" Bella asked

" Everything will be revealed soon I'm sure of that just be prepeared to have some small news soon..." I said as I noticed them coming back hand by hand they looked so much in love. Laura looked me with a smile

" Well appearently we have some little news to spice up this family day..." Ben startted

" I'm pregnant" Laura finished without second taught

" You're what? You've only been going out for what like 3 months didn't you use protection?" Dad startted

" Dad you know that if condoms worked 100% of the time me or Ben wouldn't be here..." I said defending those two

" Besides we are both graduating soon, I will get a job and so on. We don't need a lecture abaut using condoms, but we could use some support from the babys grandpa can you do that? From what I heard there is atleast one aunt who is happy for us..." Bens said pointing at me

" I'm sorry, it's just that I'm just meeting her and now I'm becoming a grandpa. Hey of course I'll support you don't even think abaut it, but Emma you promise that you don't become mother anytime soon, okay?" Dad asked me

" Trust me, I have no plans of becoming a mother anytime soon, for now I'll gladly take my role as an step aunt I guess I should say..."

" Aunt will do just fine, I think this guy is lucky to have aunt like you..." Laura said

" Maybe we should catch up too at somepoint I mean my brother interviewed my boyfriend I should have right to interview my brothers girlfriend right?" I asked looking at Ben

" Well I wasn't that bad on him I just wanted to make sure that he treats you like you should be treated..." Ben said

" Well you don't mind if I do the same then, right? Just a little talk between girls..." I said

We finished our day at the zoo and everything seemed to go just fine. I thought how lucky I was to have family like this... To be honest I didn't know what to expect and I wasn't sure what I was gonna even ask from Laura next day, but I decided that I will go with the flow and see where it leads to... Next day I was sitting at the coffeeshop wondering things and Laura showed up 10 minutes early

" Hi Emma, so you wanted meet me here in public. Well nice place so why not. Do you want something? I can offer." Laura said clearly nervous

" Take it easy this is not gonna be some police interigation... Just a little talk and I want to know whose raising my niece or nephew... And I think vanilla latte could do nicely." I said trying to calm her down

" I know, I just didn't know what to expect you caught me badly off guard at the zoo, by the way, what gave me away? Did I do or say something?" Laura asked as confused as most people are when I confort them like that...

" You had kind of look that you were worried abaut something to be honest I didn't know that you went there to take a test... You could say that it is a gift and a curse. You can't probably can't hide anything from me so be warned..."

" Well have to say that I didn't know that you're a little Nancy True, Emma. How abaut if we get back to the main point?" Laura asked getting a little worried again

Laura told a lot abaut herself. She had a sister and a brother being a middle child. She seemed more like a girly girl than anything, but it seemed that she had some attitude to go with it... I could see what Ben saw in her she seemed like a nice girl. I hadn't noticed, that I had missed couple calls from the girls and they appearently had came looking for me

" Well if it isn't the girl whose too important to answer our call... And with another girl too are you trying to ditch us?" Jes asked as she and Alex came to coffeeshop

" Excuse us?" Laura asked

" Oh sorry abaut that didn't notice my phone, but by all means feel free to join us. Jes and Alex meet my future sister in law Laura and Laura meet my two best friends Jessica and Alex." I Introduced

" Oh a pleasure, I assume that you're Bens girlfriend , becouse well you're a little old for Bella and welll Jake is a little young to have a girlfriend yet..." Alex said

" That's true, nice to meet you guys too. So is this gonna be 3 on 1 from here out or?" Laura asked me

" I think these guys are looking me for a reason so I think we can continue this some other time. I think that you're not going anywhere, right?" I asked

" Well you know it as well as I do and if you want them you have my blessing, I leave you guiys alone, thanks Emma for everything."

" So you had a little talk with your brothers girlfriend? So what are you gonna tell us?" Jes asked me

" Yeah well my brother had a little talk with my boyfriend, so I decided to have a little talk of my own. And I'm becoming an aunt soon..."

" WHAT? Gongratualitons! But isn't it pretty soon or have they kept their relationship as a secret too..." Both girls said

I told them the whole thing abaut how I found out and everything. We talked abaut everything and confirmed that everything was ready for my parents anniversery. I remembered that I still needed to make couple phone calls... I was sure that next weekend was gonna be one to go history books...

Time to end this season 1 with: the one with the anniverseries part 3: the one with all the history. This has been fun to write one story I have wanted to tell for a while I know it's not the best out there but as long as I enjoy writing it I will continue. Any ideas to make this better I'll gladly take them. If anyone is intrested abaut the charmed thing I don't know when I'm gonna start it. It's another story I want to tell at somepoint but have see when I'm gonna have the time and will to write it... As allways, read, follow and favorite, also as writer, remember that this story arc is coming to a close...
