The chains rubbed painfully against his pale wrists as the raven sat atop the throne, his head hung, and his grey eyes dropping heavily. Servants moved to andfro the large chamber, decorating the walls with dark flowers and banners. His stomach rumbled, but he didn't dare say anything to the brown haired demon on top of him.
"Kyouya-chan."
He lifted his head. Arms snaked around his waste, and the demon pulled him closer, resting his head on the crook of his neck.
"Why do you seem so sad?" The demon asked. "I'm doing this all for you. Please smile."
The raven stayed quiet. His stomach rumbled again, but again, he said nothing. The demon perked up, and a low laugh escaped his lips.
"Kyouya, are you hungry?"
There was no response. The demon shook his head, smiling softly, and took out a key. He unlocked the chains and got off the raven's lap, pulling him onto his feet. "Demon-san..." Kyouya whispered.
"I've told you so many times to call me Tsuna," The demon said. He pulled the taller boy off of the throne and out of the chamber. "We'll get you something to eat."
Kyouya was pulled through the halls of the castle. After living there for so long, he had the entire castle memorized like the back of his hand. He knew all of the secret escape routes, he even had a plan to leave. But somehow, someway, for some reason, he couldn't find the heart to leave. He glanced downwards at the intertwined hands of him and the demon.
What was this charade that the demon was playing at?
The first night he had been here, the night they struck a deal, the demon had been cruel, draining almost all of his blood, and beating him, all with a cruel smile and glowing orange eyes. The following day, Kyouya had found himself on a large bed, being tended to by an adorable nurse who went by the name of Fuuta and by the demon himself. It went on like this the entire two years he had been here. The demon would drain him every day, at night, being harsh and punishing, but during the day he would be gentle and loving. It had been only recently that the demon had begun giving him little kisses when he was happy, acting romantic during the day, but at night...the raven looked down at his marked wrists from the previous' nights events. He blushed, remembering how the brunet had clawed his back as he screamed in pleasure.
'Stop, don't think about that. Stop.'
"What would you like to eat, Kyouya?" The demon asked.
"Anything is fine..."
Kyouya absolutely refused to call the demon by his name. After what had been done to him, the demon didn't deserve any signs of closeness and familiarity. He'd prefer to fight tooth and nail than to allow the demon to feel like he had won his way into Kyouya's soul. A cup of tea and a plate of biscuits were placed in front of him. The demon sat next to him, pulling the raven close.
"I love you, Kyouya."
The four words rang in the air, and he froze midbite. There was the demon saying them again. He'd started a few weeks ago, when their nightly activities started escalating. Why was the demon toying with him like this? Honestly, what had he done to deserve this?
"Kyouya?" The demon asked.
"What?" Kyouya snapped.
The demon's eyes darkened. The brunet scowled, baring the fangs that were prviously hidden before. "I'm hungry." Kyouya's eyes widened, and the demon yanked him from the chair. He dragged him to their nearby bedchamber, and he threw the raven human down onto the bed. The demon climbed on top of him after shutting the door.
Kyouya felt his neck being assaulted by a frenzied mouth, and smaller hands roaming everywhere, and he mentally sighed.
He never even got to finish his food.
Kyouya awoke with a small aching in his backside and neck. There was a soft weight lying on him, bare skin upon his own. There was shifting in his lower section, and he felt the demon's eyes on him. Lips pressed against his own before the demon groaned.
"Kyouya," he whined. "You could have been a little less rough..."
'You were the one hopping on me like a rabid bunny,' the other mused.
The demon grew interested in Kyouya's face. He looked to the side, feeling himself grow hot as the brunet's piercing gaze burned on his face. He felt a hand come to rest on his cheek, but he didn't meet the demon's gaze.
"You never meet my eyes."
Kyouya looked up, but he still didn't look at the demon. Instead, he found his collarbone extremely interesting, but the demon wasn't having it. The brunet brought Kyouya's face close it him, looking into his eyes.
"Not once since you've gotten to this castle, was there a moment where you met my eyes whenever I looked at you," the demon breathed. "Is there a reason why?"
The raven didn't respond. The demon climbed on top of him, pinning him down with his small body. Kyouya tried not to respond when the demon grinded down hard on his lower regions, but a soft moan managed to escape his lips. The demon smirked.
"Look at me, Kyouya."
He met the demon's eyes. Brown eyes met steel gray. The demon brought down his lips on Kyouya's, hips grinding down, hands roaming everywhere. The demon kept whispering "I love you" like a mantra. Suddenly, Kyouya pushed him off.
"No you don't," he finally said.
"What?" The demon asked.
"Stop saying those words, they're all lies," Kyouya said louder.
"I'm not lying!"
"Oh really? What kind of idiot do you take me for? Just because I'm human doesn't mean I'm not smart."
The demon breathed. "I don't take you for an idiot," he whispered.
"So you expect me to believe that you truly love me?" Kyouya asked. "Rich, that's just rich."
"What do I have to do to make you believe me?" The demon cried.
The raven got off the bed. He strolled over to the wardrobe, and began pulling on random clothes. Pants fitted on his legs like a thick second skin, and he turned, halfway through buttoning up his shirts. "After tearing up my life and ruining it, there's nothing you can do."
The demon sat on the bed, a thin blanket covering his body. A hurt look was etched onto his face as he watched Kyouya leave.
"I will make you fall in love with me.." he whispered.
