Ch22: Heartfilia Konzern

Lucy POV:

Natsu slipped into my bed yet again. He ignored the fact that there was no more room. Ignee and Nashi was already sleeping with me, and then Natsu came in too. I mean, the bed is kinged size, but Ignee took up half of the bad.

"Luceeeeeeeeee…"

"What?"

"Why did you hit me for sleeping with you? I thought you said you loved me…"

"Gahh! Natsu! The bed isn't big enough for the 4 of us!"

"But Ignee takes up half of the bed…"

"Exactly!"

"Oh yeah… Why is Ignee Ignee?"

"Huh?"

"Like why is Ignee's name so much like Igneel's?"

"Uhhh… Well… I found him and just decided to name him that."

"Okay!"

We got to the guild and of course, Natsu kicked open the doors. He began a big fight and I went over to Mira to get my strawberry drink.

"Lucy, where is Nashi and Ignee?" Mira asked.

"Ignee wouldn't wake up because he was too tired. Nashi seemed tired too, so I left Virgo in charge of them.

"Oh… everyone was looking forward to seeing them again." She handed me my drink.

"Well, they've gotta wait until tomorrow."

Just as I finished that sentence, a table slammed right onto the back of my head. I turned around and gave a demonic aura.

"Who… Did… That!"

Everyone pointed to Natsu.

"Naaaaatsuuuuuuuu…" I gave him the Erza look.

"G- gomenasai!"

I was about to throw a stool to his face, but then a table slammed into my face.

"That's it!" I jumped into the fight and began punching other people. Then we all began to punch each other.

"Ara Ara… You guys are so energetic in the morning," Mira said.

"I didn't know Lu Chan joins the fights…"

"Gehe… This is interesting…" Gajeel also jumped into the fight.

Erza sat at a table eating her cake, but then started a rampage after someone knocked over her cake. The only people who sat out was Mira, Levy, Lisanna, Laxus, Juvia, because she was stalking Gray from afar, and of course, Master.

"SHUT UP YOU BRATS! I CAN NEVER GET ANY PAPER WORK DONE!"

"Master… What is that behind your paper work?" Mira asked while smiling.

"Uh… what are you talking about Mira? This is paper work… not a magazine full of ladies in swimsuits…"

Everybody fell to the ground and sweat dropped.

"Ehem… casting that aside. According to the 4th, there is an event called the Grand Magic Games each year. They determine who the strongest guild in all of Fiore is. The guild that wins get 30,000,000 Jewels," when he said that, his eyes glimmered and we all fell to the ground yet again, "There can only be 5 people representing for each guild, and those people have to be in the guild."

"Who's participating Jii Chan?" Natsu asked.

"I was just getting to that. Ehem… Lucy, Natsu, Gray, Erza, and Wendy will be representing for us!"

"M-me?"

"Yes! You, Lucy!"

"B-but… I have to watch Nashi and Ignee!"

"C'mon Luce! It'll be fun!"

"Okay."

"Yosh! We've gotta build our muscles!"

"You need training Natsu?"

"Of course not! It's just that we're 7 years late! We've gotta learn new tricks!"

"So train."

"Call it what you want. It's not called training in my eyes."

"We're leaving at 6! You have 7 more hours to pack and do whatever you want until we leave," Erza commanded.

"Eto… us too?" Jet asked.

"Of course! We all need to get stronger!" Erza stated.

"I'll meet you back here at six guys!"

"Wait up Luce! I'm coming too!" Natsu shouted from behind me.

We got back to the house to find Virgo changing Nashi's diaper and Ignee running around. I went to my room and started packing up their clothes and things.

"Why are you packing their things up?"

"I'm taking them to stay with my father until we come back from the event."

"Awwww! I wanted Nashi to see me kick some ass though!"

"I'm not letting her see such things! Besides, I have this bad feeling that if I take her with me, something is going to happen."

"Your dad can't watch them both can he?"

"No… But Spetto San and the others are there too. I'm also leaving Loke, Virgo, Capricorn, Aries, and Lyra with him."

"But don't you need them?"

"Yeah… I do… but I can always use something else."

"I want to meet him too. Besides, I'm the father of Nashi."

After I finished packing up their things, I closed Virgo's gate and took Nashi while Natsu picked Ignee up. Ignee punched his back and yelled at him. They don't get along so well. Then, I opened a portal to the Heartfilia Konzern. When we got there, Natsu was confused.

"I thought your dad went bankrupt?"

"He did… but I sent him a lot of money while I was training."

"Oh…"

"Lucy Sama! You're back!" Spetto began to cry. Soon, all the other workers ran towards me too. After a while, they calmed down.

"Huh? Who are these fine kids?"

"Kids!? I am not a kid!" Natsu yelled.

"Natsu, she wasn't talking about you. She was asking about Nashi and Ignee… Anyways, Minna, meet Nashi and Ignee. Ignee is a little boy I found alone, so I decided to take care of him. Nashi is my daughter."

Everyone nodded and then it hit them. "Daughter!?"

"Y-yeah…"

"Who did this to you? Our Lucy has been tortured hasn't she?"

"Ah… not really…" I stepped aside and said, "this is the father of my child."

"Does that mean… you weren't tortured? Does that mean that our Lucy has married?"

"Yes, I was not tortured or anything. And we're not married."

"That's not good! We need to give you a wedding ceremony!"

"Ah… That is not necessary… Is my father in his room?"

"Yes! Follow me!" Spetto exclaimed. Natsu followed too. Before I knew it, we were in front of his door. Spetto knocked and we heard a "Come in."

"Lucy has returned Jude Sama."

"You may leave." Spetto soon left. The door clicked behind us.

"Lucy… you have made such a cute daughter."

"You figured it out so quick?"

"Of course. She has your eyes. And I'm guessing that man behind you is your husband."

"Not quite… We haven't married yet."

"I'm Natsu Dragneel. Lucy and I haven't married yet, but it will be soon," Natsu said while I blushed.

"I see… When that time comes, please invite me."

"We will," Natsu answered.

"So what is your business here?"

"I'm going to be training and participating in the Grand Magic Game, so I was wondering if you could watch these two." I pointed to Ignee and Nashi.

"I'll watch them… but before you go, go introduce them to your mother."

"Hai… I'll do that right now."

We left the room and went to my mother's grave.

"Luce, I thought you said he doesn't care about you?"

"That's what I thought, but then after the bankruptcy, I realized that he did care about me."

"Also… you didn't tell him Nashi's and Ignee's name."

"He already knows their names because I wrote a letter telling him the names of Nashi and Ignee."

"Oh…"

"Mom, how are you doing? It's been a while hasn't it? I didn't have much time to write letters to you anymore, but I did write to you about Nashi and Ignee. Well this is Nashi," I pointed to Nashi, then to Ignee, "and this is Ignee. You probably already know all too well, but Papa wanted me to do this…"

"Luce don't forget me."

"And this is Natsu. You probably already know him though."

"Yo! I'm Natsu Dragneel. I promise you that I will take good care of Luce and Nashi. Don't worry too much."

"Well… it's almost six, so we've got to go now. I'll visit you again next time. Also, please watch over Nashi and Ignee. Please protect them."

We went back inside the mansion and put them on my old bed. Then I called Loke, Virgo, Aries, Capricorn, and Lyra out. I told Lyra to sing a song so Nashi and Ignee could sleep. Afterwards, I bid everyone farewell and left through the portal back to Fairy Tail.
