Neko: Ohayou! I have an essay to write, but I don't want to do it yet… So I'll be writing my fanfiction first.
Lucy: That's bad! Do your essay!
Neko: But my fans are waiting…
Lucy: Humph! Do whatever you want… Fairy Tail does not belong to Neko!
Ch23: Relax and Train
Lucy POV:
We arrived at the beach and had fun. We swam in the ocean and played beach ball. Then we went back to the inn we were staying in and drank, well only the girls.
Natsu POV:
All the guys had a night swim in the ocean. When we went back at the inn, all the girls were drunk.
"Who gave the girls these drinks!?" Ice freak yelled.
"Gray! You guys are back! Can you go get more drinks?" Erza commanded.
"No! You've had enough drinks for the night!"
"Gray-sama… Juvia is sad. Gray-sama didn't want to look at Juvia's new swim suit." Juvia wailed and climbed onto Ice brain. She started to turn into water, but she still held Stripper to the ground.
Gajeel and Levy were making out in the corner of the room. Wendy was unconscious and Carla was riding on Happy as if he was a horse. Erza was threatening Jet and Droy.
"Naaaatchuuuu…" Lucy called out.
I turned around and saw Lucy crawling to me.
"Do y-you l-lobe me?"
"What?"
"You d-don't l-lobe me? Y-you l-lobe Li-Lisanna?" She started to cry.
"What are you talking about? Of course I love you, you idiot. How many times do I have to tell you? I love you and only you. Not Lisanna. I only like Lisanna like a little sister. Nothing more."
"Prove it," Lucy said.
I gulped and pulled her into a deep kiss. Luckily, she kissed right back. After about 30 seconds, we pulled apart.
"That good enough to prove it?"
Lucy nodded and collapsed. I caught her right before she hit the ground. Then I brushed my hands through her hair.
Lucy POV:
I woke up to find Natsu snoring above me. He was leaning on the wall and I was laying on his lap. I smiled and got up. Then I laid him on the mattress. Everyone was still sleeping. Gajeel and Levy were hugging each other in the mattress. The same went for Gray and Juvia. Carla was sleeping in Wendy's arms while Happy was just on the ground. Erza was hugging a blue bear. Jet and Droy were on the ground with their butts in the air. I decided to go shower.
By the time I got out, everyone was awake. Natsu ran towards me.
"Luce! I was so worried! Where were you?"
"Uh… I was in the shower…"
"Lucy, we need to start training," Erza said.
"Yes. I know. I can't train here though. I need to go to a different place to train."
"We'll go with you," Natsu said.
"No. Just stay here to train. I'll be back in one day. I promise."
"B-but…" Natsu was about to say something, but I cut it off with a kiss to the cheeks. Everyone blushed at the sight.
"No. I'm going with you either way," Natsu claimed.
"Too bad… even if you follow me, you're going to lose me."
"We'll see about that."
"Okay… if you insist."
I waved goodbye to everyone and went on my way. Natsu followed me. He followed me all the way into the closest town. As soon as I turned the corner I immediately called out a portal to Tenrou Island.
Natsu POV:
I saw Lucy turn the corner so I followed her quickly, but as soon as I turned the corner, she was gone. 'Agh! I am an idiot! Of course she would use a portal! Damn it all! I guess I'll just have to head back to Erza and the others.'
Lucy POV:
I got to Tenrou Island to see Mavis right in front of me.
"I knew you were coming," Mavis said.
"How?"
"I just had a feeling."
"Well, can we go to the fairy world now?"
"Yes! Right this way!"
Mavis lead me to the back of her grave and I was blinded for a second. When I opened my eyes, I was in a different place. The place felt magical. It had 3 moons and one sun out at the same time. There were trees and grass everywhere. I saw that there was snow on the opposite side of the trees. There were shining ponds. The thing that grabbed my attention the most was the diamond castle. It was sparkling.
"Who dares step into the land of the fairies!?" a little fairy demanded to know as she flew up to my head.
Mavis chuckled and answered, "Oh Sparkle. This is Lucy Heartfilia, the new Queen of all,"
"Queen of all? I never heard of Layla having a successor. You must be joking. Now get her out of here!"
"She is the queen though. Layla never came to visit because she was pregnant with Lucy."
"Well where is she now? I'd like her to explain."
"She's already left this world."
"What!? How?! When?!"
"Even I don't know."
"How are you so sure she's Layla's daughter?"
"Just look at her… Does she not look like Layla?"
The fairy backed away and gasped. Then she bowed to me.
"Eh… you don't need to bow… it's a little too much…"
The fairy got up and whistled. Soon, a whole bunch of fairies flew towards her. She started to talk in a different language I couldn't quite get, but I still understood some words. As she finished her little speech, she turned back around and bowed again. This time, all the other fairies bowed along with her.
"Eh… etto… you don't need to bow… this is really embarrassing…"
The fairies got up and led me to the huge diamond castle. Soon, there was a party and we introduced ourselves to each other. The fairy I encountered first was Sparkle. She was in charge of the fairy realm until a new queen arrived. There were many other fairies too.
"So… Sparkle. Tell me. Do you guys have tails?"
"Of course we do!"
I looked for her tail but I couldn't find it.
"Well, where is it?"
"It's invisible. We can make it appear whenever we want to. See?" Allof a sudden, a tail appeared behind Sparkle.
"Sugoi! I have wings too. I can make it appear whenever I want to too! They're just not invisible right now."
"What?"
"It's not there. It's like a wing I can just attach on."
"Oh… Can I see?"
"Sure! Appear!"
A pair of wings appeared in an instant.
"Amazing! It's a pair of angel wings!"
"Didn't my mom ever show you this?"
"Nope! She didn't visit here as often and we weren't that close."
"Oh… Well, I hope you can train me! I get 2 months here before I have to leave so I plan on mastering everything before I leave."
"It's not that difficult. I'm sure you'll get it in only a month."
Time skip (1 Month)
Sparkle taught me so many things. She taught me how to fly. She taught me new techniques too, like how to increase my health, stamina, and strength when I'm at my limit. That'll probably never happen though. She taught me Fairy Wall, Fairy Wings, Fairy Moons, Starry Sky, Shine of the Fairies, and how to summon a fairy. Fairy Wall creates a wall that can never be broken. It's just like Fairy Sphere, except that this is a 'wall'. The wall can extend as far as I want it to. Fairy Wings give me wings that are strong enough to blow a whole mountain off. Fairy Moons give me the power of the three moon in the fairy realm, but I can only use it when the 3 moons unite as one. Starry Sky allows me to give a rain shower of stars. It's just like Gajeel's Iron Dragon's Rainfall, so I don't think I'll use it. Shine of the Fairies allows me to let out a whole bunch of fairy light that can injure someone easily. It can also heal if I want it to.
"Goodbye… Thank you for everything. Thank you Sparkle!"
"You're very welcome. You should come back. Visit a lot okay?"
"Of course!"
And just like that, Mavis and I left through a portal I made. Oh yeah, I can make a portal to the fairy realm now. First, I sent Mavis to Tenrou Island. Then I went back to the beach where Natsu and the others are.
