Ch26: Twin Dragons of Sabertooth

Lucy POV:

I was walking on the shore listening to the calm waves until I heard Jellal ask Erza to be his girlfriend. I listened for Erza's answer.

"Jellal… I… me… you… Oh whatever. Yes!"

That was the end of their conversation, so I'm guessing they kissed and made out because I heard some moans. Well, I heard a lot. I tried to give them some privacy… but these ears of mine won't listen to me. It's like they have their own mind.

Natsu POV (Timeskip):

We've been building up our magic ever since our second half awakened. I heard that Jellal and them are going to join Fairy Tail when we go back. Now our family will be even bigger! Jellal and Erza has been very close lately, and she's also been acting weird. Whatever. Now, it's time to head back to the guild.

Lucy POV:

'I had to get another limiter…' I sighed. 'I wonder how Nashi and Ignee is doing.'

"Are you okay Luce?"

"Yeah… just missed Nashi and Ignee."

"How about we go see them before heading to the guild?"

"No… if I do that… I won't be able to leave them again… and I don't think taking them to the games will be a good idea either."

"Why not?"

"Geez Natsu. You're quite talkative today aren't you?"

"Really? Is it a good thing or a bad thing?"

"I don't really know."

"Then how about you shut me up?"

"Oh alright."

I stood on the tip of my toes and leaned forward until our lips met.

"Happy?"

"Aye!" Natsu smiled.

"Would you two lovebirds hurry it up?" Gajeel asked, "We're going to leave you behind."

"Che! You're one to talk. You and Levy sure were taking your time this morning too! We had to wait for you two so long!" Natsu retorted.

"I'm so sorry!" Levy apologized.

"Are you yelling at MY bookworm?" Gajeel asked with a glare.

"I was talking to you iron freak!"

"What'd you call me ash brain!"

"Would you guys hurry it up! Why can't you be like Gray and Juvia!" Erza commanded.

"What's so special about them!?" Gajeel and Natsu both asked at the same time.

"They're a couple and they're keeping up!" Erza said.

"We're not a couple!" Gray shouted.

"Gray sama! You've finally accepted me!"

Juvia jumped onto Gray.

"Get off of me!" Gray yelled.

It was like this throughout the whole walk. Erza was getting annoyed. Then when we got to Magnolia, I remembered something.

"Ah! I forgot that I could use a portal!"

Erza gave a death aura. "How could you just forget! I had to go through that for hours!"

"Ano… Erza San… you forgot too…" Wendy interrupted.

"Ah… right… I'm such an idiot!"

"How about… I open a portal to the guild so we won't have to walk so far!"

"That's a little late… we're already here…" Carla stated.

I looked up to see the guild right in front of us.

"Ahahaha… Right… let's go in!"

As usual, Natsu kicked open the doors. There was no one there but Mira.

"Welcome back!" Mira greeted.

"Where are the others?"

"Everyone got back yesterday and already went to Crocus."

"Oh. Well let's go then… Oh wait… Jellal, Ultear, and Meredy would like to join Fairy Tail."

"Hai! I'll just give them a stamp! I'm sure Master wouldn't mind." She went to get the stamp and stamped their hands. Jellal got his on his right chest. Ultear and Meredy did too.

"Okay! Now that I remembered I can send us there through a portal, I'll send us there through a portal!"

"You're talking weird Luce, but you're Luce so it doesn't matter."

"Hai hai…"

I opened a portal to wherever Master was at the moment and when we popped up in front of him, he was in a store. Not just any store, but a perverted store. That earned him a glare from Mira.

"Ah… wrong store… I thought this was the baby store. I was going to buy something for Nashi…"

"I'm sure you were… Master."

Just like that, we left the store.

"You will be resting in 'Honey Bone Lodge' while we're in Crocus. Oh… I forgot to ask… but why is Jellal, Ultear, and Meredy here?"

"They joined Fairy Tail," Erza replied.

"Ah… I guess that's okay. Now our family will be even bigger."

"Oh… You must be in your lodge by 12 AM. It's a must! Now you can explore or do whatever you want until then."

We all dispersed. Natsu, Happy, and I walked around Crocus. Erza and Jellal went to inspect the lodge for anything suspicious. Ultear and Meredy went to shop. Gajeel and Levy went to explore while Lily followed Master. Wendy and Carla went off somewhere. Gray also went to explore while Juvia clung onto him.

Natsu, Happy, and I walked everywhere until we noticed a fight in the middle of a street. We intervened in the fight and noticed 2 people and 2 exceeds.

"Dragon Slayers?" I questioned.

"My my my… if it isn't Natsu Dragneel and Lucy Heartfilia. Where've you been? You've been missing for 7 years and then you just suddenly show up again… without aging too…" The blonde haired guy said.

'One black haired… one blonde haired… those two has to be Sting and Rogue. Skiadrum and Weisslogia told me about them.'

"My my my… If it isn't Sting and Rogue," I said.

"Wh- how do you know us?"

"Well who wouldn't know you?"

"Humph. I'll introduce myself again. I am Sting, and this is Rogue. We are the Twin Dragons of Sabertooth," He pointed to the 2 exceeds, "and those two are Lector and Frosch".

"Why are you beating innocent people up?!" Natsu roared.

"They didn't know who we were."

"That is no reason to hit them!"

"I don't care."

"Sting, let's go," Rogue interrupted.

"You aren't interested to hear about Gajeel?"

"I'm not interested. Let's go."

With that they left.

"Wait!" Natsu was about to grab Sting but I held him back.

"Natsu… just let it go this once."

He didn't answer me, but just nodded. We walked to our lodge in silence. Natsu was probably mad at me for not letting him go. We arrived in our room to find Erza and Jellal nowhere. He lied down on one of the bed and I lied next to him.

"Natsu, are you mad at me?"

"No. I'm upset."

"I'm sorry for not letting you go after them, but it would start a whole problem if I let you go."

"I'm not upset at that. I'm not upset at you. I'm upset at what Sting did. It's just not right. Why would he beat those innocent people up just because they didn't know who they were?"

I pulled him into a hug and I can tell he was surprised, but then he returned the hug.

"I'm sorry Luce. I know you were just trying to prevent a bigger problem. I should've knew not to try to go after them too."

"I don't accept that apology."

"Why?"

"Because there's nothing to apologize for. You were just simply acting because it seemed like the right thing to do, and because you were just being you. You do a lot of things without thinking, but they're for the right reasons."

He just snuggled closer to me. Soon, he fell asleep. It was weird. He usually never sleeps so fast. I observed his sleeping face. He looks so cute when he's sleeping. I ruffled his hair and gave him a quick kiss on the cheeks. I was about to get up, but then he held onto me tightly.

"Luce…" He mumbled in his sleep.

'I wonder what he's dreaming about.'

"Don't leave me. I will truly break this time,"

"I'm not leaving ever again. I'm staying right here," I whispered into his ear.

Soon, sleep took over me too. After what seemed like only seconds, I woke up to see Natsu's toothy grin.

"Looks like you're up. Luce, do you know how cute you are while sleeping?"

"Huh? No? How long did I sleep?"

"I don't know. I woke up just a few minutes ago."

I checked the time and it was 11:50 P.M. I took some time to process that. Then, I panicked.

"What?! 11:50!? Where are the others!? They have to be here by 12! We only have 10 minutes left!"

"Geez Lucy. Don't worry, we're here," Erza, Gray, and Elfman said.

"Where's Wendy!?"

"We don't know. We thought she came back already."

"Gahh! I'll contact the others and tell them to look for Wendy. We can't leave right now because I don't know how long it'll take to find her."

I called Master through my lacrima and explained the situation to him. He asked Bixlow and Bisca to look for them. After 9 minutes, they still couldn't find her. I was getting nervous. Then, the lodge started to move and Natsu got sick.
