Neko: I'm so so so so so so so sorry for not updating. Life has been pulling me away. The story is not over yet! I refuse to give up on this story and you readers! I will continue the story! It might just take a while to update now. I've been depressed lately… Anyways, sorry for not updating. I'm a jerk for not updating fast enough. Ever since I started writing this story, I said that I would update soon, but I didn't. I feel really bad now. I'm so sorry. Review and yell at me to update fast alright? I'm finally out of school! But I have things to do… T^T. I'll try to update this week.

Ch27: Labyrinth

Lucy POV:

The lodge was off the ground and moving higher and higher. Then, a pumpkin man floated into the air.

"Hello! I am Kabo, the announcer for the tournament. To reduce the number of guilds participating to only 8 teams, we created a preliminary event. You will be going through through the labyrinth. Your goal is to get to Domus Flau with all of your participating group members. You may use any type of magic. The labyrinth will rotate every 5 minutes! Oh, if any one of your group member falls out, you are eliminated. Have fun!"

"What are we going to do? Wendy's not here yet! What if something happened to her? What if she got hurt? What do we do… we can't start with the games until Wendy gets here."

Elfman popped through the door and carried us around his arms. He hopped out of the window and began running towards the labyrinth.

"I will participate in Wendy's place."

"You can do that?" Natsu asked.

"Why not? It doesn't state in the rule book we couldn't," I replied.

I saw that the pathway was beginning to fall behind us.

"Elfman! Hurry up! Run faster! We're going to fall!"

He started to run faster like I said. He barely made it to the entrance of the labyrinth in time before the pathway disappeared.

"We made it in the nick of time. Ne Luce. Which way do we go? How do we know which way is towards Domus Flau?" Natsu asked.

"Just follow me, I can see it."

"See what?" Happy questioned.

"I can see the exit."

I lead the way and then suddenly, the ground started to shake. No. The labyrinth was beginning to turn. I lost balance and fell, but luckily, Natsu caught hold of me.

"Arigatou, Natsu."

"Be careful Luce. I wouldn't want you hurting yourself." He gave me his signature smile. Oh, how I love that smile so much. I couldn't help but smile back.

"Oh quit being so lovey dovey. Let's get going." When Gray said that, we backed away from each other quickly and continued on towards the exit.

Timeskip (5 minutes later)

We saw the exit and ran towards it quickly. We went through the door and saw the Pumpkin headed guy.

"Alright! We got here first!" Natsu cheered.

"Actually, you got here second. That's a pretty good start for Fairy Tail. You may go back to your rooms and wait until tomorrow morning. Make sure you get enough rest because tomorrow is when the real competition starts." Kabo explained.

We all headed towards Honey Bone Lodge to get some rest.

Natsu POV:

When we all got to the lodge, we went our separate ways to our own rooms. I went with Luce though.

"Natsu, I'm going to shower first alright?"

"But Luceeeee, I want to shower with you."

"Natsu! No! Just sit and wait for your turn to shower."

"Fine." Luce went into the restroom. I smirked. After I heard the water splashing, I went in. I'm surprised Luce didn't hear. I stripped and went into the shower with her.

"N-Natsu! What are you doing!? Get out!" Lucy blushed.

I smirked, "Not yet. Not until I properly mark you mine."

I wrapped my arms against her bare stomach. I started kissing down her neck and marked her neck. It started to glow and when it finally stopped, there was a crown with fire surrounding it on Luce's skin.

"Baka. Now it's going to stay here forever." Lucy turned around and marked me too. I didn't know what popped up. It wasn't a picture or anything. It was just a symbol I didn't know about.

"Luce, what's this symbol?"

"Don't worry about it, and, get out!" Luce kicked me out of the shower and I obediently left her be.
