So I'm finally back after what seemed like years. I had to re read my own fanfiction and your reviews to feel inspired and motivated. Oh yeah, I'm terribly sorry for updating so late. I've decided to not time skip the magic games because it's just so important and I have ideas for it. Also, I've taken my time off to try and improve my writing skills since many of you didn't like the way I wrote it. I hope you stick with me through all this and continue encouraging me with your awesome reviews.

First Day of GMG

The teams were called from 8th place to first place. In eighth place was Team Quatro Cerberus, seventh was Team Mermaid Heel, sixth was Blue Peagusus' Trimens, fifth was Team Lamia Scale, fourth was Team Raven Tail, third was Team Fairy Tail B, second was Team Fairy Tail A, and first place was Team Sabertooth. Everyone was shocked to see that there were two Fairy Tail teams and demanded that they both be disqualified from the game due to not following rules. However, Master had interrupted stating that the rules were not broken as it was stated in the rule book that each guild may send in 2 teams.

Team Fairy Tail B consists of Laxus, Mystogan, who of course is just Jellal in disguise, Gajeel, Juvia, and Mira.

The judges had discussed and concluded that they will not be disqualified. Fairy Tail sighed in relief to this answer. Soon, the teams were sent to their own balcony as Kabo explained the rules and the first round being an event followed by a battle.

"The teams will earn point depending on how well they place in the event. Each team may choose the person participating. The sponsors will have the right to choose the pairs battling. The loser will earn no points and the winner will earn 10. However, if there is a draw, both team receives 5 points. Now, let's start the first match. Please select a participant from each team and send them out."

For Lamia Scale, Lyon had volunteered to go which caused Gray to want to go too. Ironically, Juvia had been chosen to participate for this match too. It was like Lyon and Gray were fighting for Juvia.

When everyone had their participants at the front, the surroundings had changed to the town. Of course that was only for the ones participating. The rules were set and the participants had started the game of 'hide and seek.'

"Will Gray be okay?" Lucy asked to no one in particular. She had a feeling that this round would be lost, but it would only make them stronger. Meanwhile, Natsu was dozing off and thinking about his future with his Lucy and his Nashi.

"Natsu? What's wrong? You look completely out of it," Lucy stated.

"I just want to get this over with and see Nashi."

"I do too..." Lucy knew that it wouldn't end fast. She can feel it. Her gut told her that something bad would happen. That was what made her come to the decision to not bring Nashi and Ignee along with her. Even though they weren't there and was safe, she still felt uneasy. She felt like she would be losing someone soon. Her mind was stuck on that for a while until she returned to watch the match. Natsu had done the same.

Throughout the whole game, Raven Tail had attacked Fairy Tail only. It seems they have an objective in mind. However, Juvia and Gray got away. Juvia had found Gray and attacked him.

"Juvia? Aren't we supposed to be helping each other and not attacking each other?"

"Gray Sama... Juvia doesn't want to attack you either, but Juvia promised Master that Juvia will do everything to win. Master even said that the losing team will do what the winning team wants for a day. Juvia must win if Juvia wants Gray Sama to go on a date with Juvia."

"Nani? I heard of no such rules. Either way, you don't need to do this to get me on a date with you... I was going to go anyways..."

"What's this?! A confession in the middle of the games?" Kabo shouted as the crowd whistled. Juvia blushed and was going to say something, but was attacked. Both Juvia and Gray were attacked. Meanwhile, Rufus from Sabertooth hasn't taken a step at all!

"This is too easy for me. I know where everyone is," Rufus claimed.

Soon enough, the match was over in an instant leaving Sabertooth in the league and both Fairy Tail teams last. The crowd has started to boo Fairy Tail. When the participants appeared in the field again, Gray had walked off in despair. Juvia followed.

"Gray Sama... Don't be sad. You did your best. It doesn't matter if we lost today. We still have a chance in the future to defeat them..."

"Yeah... You're right... But I still disappointed them. I shouldn't have participated this round... I was weak..."

"You're wrong," Natsu appeared, "you did your best out there. We are not disappointed in you. Everyone has to lose a battle in order to learn from it and win the war."

"Wow flame brain... I had no idea you were so..." Gray was speechless. He's never seen this side if Natsu. Maybe, just maybe, they could get along better. That's what he thought until Natsu had sent a kick to his face.

"Baka! Don't sit here and mope around. We're Fairy Tail. We don't give up so easily, so get back out on the balcony with your head held high."

A tick mark had appeared on Gray's head. "Hah! I was going to do that anyways! You're just a hot headed fire brain." That had caused the two if them to pound onto each other's head and start arguing. Juvia walked behind them smiling. In Gray's mind, he was thinking, 'I can't believe I even thought for one second we could get along. He's such a hard headed person that no one would be able to stand him!'

Then, Kabo had told us about the next battle. It was a battle between Lucy and Flare.

"Luce, be careful out there. Raven Tail is trying something. I can tell. Don't get too banged up, okay?" Natsu said.

"Who do you think I am? I'm not that weak anymore," Lucy said while sticking out her tongue.

Natsu walked closer to Lucy and surprised her with a hug.

"I'm serious, Luce. Something's not right about that guild. I don't want you to get hurt. If anything happened to you, I'd be so hurt... Just please, be careful."

"Hai hai, Natsu. I'll be very careful, but if I seem to be in a pinch, look for anything strange because I feel like they'll be using dirty tricks."

He nodded and let her enter the battle ground. He couldn't help but feel worried. After all, that's his woman.

Natsu got back to the team to watch Lucy's fight. As the battle started, Lucy took the first hit. Flare had stretched her hair and punched Lucy across her face. However, the tables turned and Lucy began kicking and punching Flare back. Because she left some of her celestial spirits with Nashi and Ignee and she was waiting for the perfect time to show her true magic, she can only depend on her physical strength. Lucy managed to push Flare up against the wall and was going to finish her off with Urano Metria, but Flare had smirked and whispered, "are you sure about that? The little one might get hurt."

Lucy had stopped in her tracks thinking that Flare was talking about Nashi and wondering how she even knew about her in the first place until Flare continued, "you know, that little girl with a cowboy hat on." Lucy realized that Flare was talking about Asuka and immediately backed away. Everyone was surprised by her action. Lucy looked up in the direction Fairy Tail was and saw Flare's hair right next to Asuka. 'What can I do? If I leave now, we'll lose points... But if I attack Flare, she'll hurt Asuka...'

Natsu had noticed Lucy's distressed expression and looked towards the direction Lucy looked at. He saw it and took off in a swift moment. It took 30 seconds for Natsu to get where Asuka was and burn the hair. He gave Lucy a thumbs up and Lucy was ready to attack. Lucy summoned Gemini and they had started chanting the thing she usually chanted for Urano Metria. The audience was blinded by the light, but it just stopped and Lucy was on the ground motionless.

"Lucy!" Natsu yelled. He jumped off the balcony and ran to her as the battle was declared as Flare's victory.

"Luce! Luce! Wake up! Are you okay?"

Lucy woke up but started to cry so Natsu picked her up bridal style and stormed off to a room. However, she had fainted once again. He set her on the bed and panicked.

"Luce! Luce! You have to be okay! You're okay right? You said you'd be careful. What happened out there?!" Natsu had placed his head on Lucy's chest and held her left hand tightly.

Slowly, Lucy's eyes fluttered open and she combed through Natsu's hair gently to calm him down. She felt tears falling once again.

"I was careless. I messed up. I didn't focus on my surroundings while chanting up Urano Metria, but I'm fine. I'm not hurt."

"Are you sure? How come you fainted then?"

"I guess I lost balance and hit my head when I fell," Lucy said while rubbing her head.

"You're okay, right? You're not lying, right?"

"Yes, I'm fine. Nothing can stop me. I'm undefeatable! I was just careless."

"Fine... But save the tears for when we win" Natsu gave Lucy his signature grin causing Lucy to smile back.

"Go on, get out there. I'll be resting my head for a bit."

Natsu obeyed and left Lucy to rest. Lucy rested her head back and thought, 'her team mate helped her out... I managed to dodge in time... But I fell back... If I had not been able to dodge that, I think I might've been in worse conditions... That magic he shot at me was a forbidden magic. It could cause the person who was shot to be in a coma forever. Ugh I'm so weak... I thought I had become stronger, but I couldn't even win that fight... I promise that I'll win the next fight for sure...'

Lucy rested for the rest of the day as the games continued without her. Natsu stopped by every now and then making sure she was okay.

In Lucy's sleep, she can see the king's palace falling apart and see herself caught up in it. Meanwhile, Carla was also having the same vision. When Lucy came to, she was sweating and crying. 'What was that? A dream? A vision?' She knew exactly what it was... The future.

I may have lost my touch... I hope. It's okay. It's a short chapter, but I'm trying to start again so I'm pretty sure my chapters will get longer as time goes. Also, review?
